Actually I really think stalingrad cannot kite.. a couple of them tried on thursday CB against our pushing hindi, zao and montana.. failed utterly. That ship is too sluggish to kite effectively IMO.. and yes you are right, but in all cruisers except the RN ones.. just sit bowon.. dont angle.. If you need to take shots from stalin.. when your SS gets saturated.. thats all you gonna eat. When people eat a 12K salvo on their SS from a stalingrad. They never think about saturation, then they panic.. they start to turn.. well.. goodbye everybody! I've goooot to goooooo!!! Gonna leaave you all behiiiind!

Please read it again carefully... or may be If you need go find my previous posts in different topics. I've never whined about CV because I get killed or anything. As I've said, I can deal with CVs, by doing my best. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The quote you took was about "general populations ignorance for certain mechanics of the game" I was trying to say, when it comes to CV, that ignorance promotes to a different level.. Just that.. Actually yes.. As I've said.. that is a subjective opinion of mine.. thats all.. Why you are so angry about this I don't get it :) I am against dumbing down the game to a certain level to attract more people. But I am against keeping some mechanics which clearly alianate a great deal of people.. and again.. as you can see / read.. I am all talking in the first person singular... These are my opinions.. you clearly have different ones.. and I respect them.. just keep that in mind :) and BTW, I am not defending anyone.. just to summarise it in one sentence.. I THINK, IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, This game benefit from the complete removal of CVs.. But thank god I am not a developer or anyone in the WG.. so my personal opinion is just a nuisance in the void... like almost every opinion around here. Actually after the gun buff.. Shima is performing better. But the reason when I get scared of CVs when I am in shima, even though I clearly state at the start of the match which cap I am planning to go.. or try to communicate with my CV captain.. 8 out of 10 times, there are only red fighters over the cap(s) and our CVs fighters are escorting his attack squadrons. I've been in matches where my CV practically did a fantastic job and I felt like a princess guarded by some champions of the queen in my DD.. while wrecking havoc :) But my personal experience says, the most important part of the team play must be the CV and which is clearly not happenning most of the matches.. although I am not blaming CV captains solely for that. You can only ask for what you give.. I have no idea what CV captains in high tiers experiencing in matches.. and how frustrated they get because of their teammates.. so..

Who likes to get killed?? but on an another note.. I have nothing against CVs on a personal level.. even though I say I hate them :) I can do my best when they are in the match I am playing with.. If I am in my musashi.. I usually accept my fate after a certain point.. but in short, I have no problems of getting killed by anything.. yeah don't like getting killed at all.. not only by CVs.. but by any ship.. But yeah.. this is game where I try to kill people.. there is nothing more understandable then they try to do the same thing to me.. My point is, As a PERSONAL OPINION, I think, CVs are not good for this game at all.. and game would benefit more than it lose If the CVs were completely removed.. again.. that is my opinion :) I am just stating it.. nothing less nothing more.. anyone can think that my opinion is wrong I respect that.. When you think about it you are right to some degree.. I still see, BBs go in a straight line... when they KNOW there is a shima around 7km of them.. I see shokaku players, trying to torp a desmo which has a mino next to it.. because after they kill the AA ship, they will rain death on everyone :P I see german and IJN cruisers.. try to use their torps by giving complete broadsides to a BB.. then they ask why they are killed.. But all of these are usually on a personal level ignorance.. When it comes to CV.. that is the utmost importance of a team play.. and at least %90 of the playerbase.. try to play the matches on a same way.. with or without a CV.. do you know when I hate Midway/Haku? not when I'm in my Musashi.. actually when I am in my shima.. because a good CV player, completely negates me... and makes my job hell.. and If my CV player on that match does have no idea of the enemy CV on his own DD.. that is a complete lost cause..

I got my answer :) Montana with radar... great! I want one too! Where do I put radar on my montana? I think I got duped! I knew I shouldn't have bought my montana on a second hand dealer! Thank god it is not :) I would be a terrible developer... I would put shima torps on zao... (wait...) :P But honestly, when you title your game like "World of Warships" one can expect to get fight in ships.. with ships.. against ships.. like, one can expect to fight in tanks when they see "World of tanks" title :) But that is my opinion clearly. you are actually fighting with planes in a game called .... of Warships where only %2 of the playerbase actively play those planes which has nothing to do with ships, so... I guess you know what I'm talking about :) but decided not ot.. you are right about this.. But with the CV it is on a very different level.. when I see a tirpitz goes alone to a cap when there is an enemy lexi in the match.. I cannot find enough face palms to flat my nose..

Stalingrad can kita away :) yeah... ok.! :) ofcourse! we currently have a couple stalingrads in our clan to use in CB. I am still at the same position, that ship is not OP but extremely strong when it comes to punish mistakes.. and frankly, I think the main problem of the stalingrad are the enemies it face. People want to think that is a moskva, which currently can punish mistakes very hard.. Stalingrad can do that on a completely different level... like the desmo from last night.. It was like weekend.. one second it was there.. next second it is already monday morning. and the question was "What happened to your 55K hp desmo??" but desmo was too deep under the water to answer.. as an FC, I really like to have a stalingrad in the team. great range, incredible guns, and tanks like a boss... and people focus it like a state of the enemy giving opportunity to the others to go unharrassed. Yeah.. extremely strong ship.. like yamato.. I like to define it the yamato of the cruisers.. so like yamato, you fire on it when, It is the last ship, or It is the only ship, or It gives you broadside.. Other than that.. ignore it.. and dont give broadside.. you will be ok..

I've said it before, want to say it again.. CVs has no place in this game whatsoever! All the detailed mechanics about the surface ships are like, Armor, Angling, Ballistics, Protection, Detection, This game is about ships fighting each other, Not planes attacking ships.. or Ships trying to dodge planes... The community and general population of this game is not bright enough to accept CVs in this game. Gameplaywise I mean... This game has no place for CVs.. "plane" and simple..

Dear OP, Everone tried to give useful advice up there. But it is obvious and bright as the sun in your first post, that the problem is you. (don't get me wrong) The below were taken out from your own message, If you don't kill a tier 8 cruiser in a Conq, in 1v1 match.. and forced to retreat, If you do usually <20K damage in high tiers, If you miss almost all of your first opening salvos, If you usually get a single overpen for all of your salvos, and usually die in your TOP tier BB If you support your team and think about going your max range to snipe.. You are probably one of the best examples of what people complaining about high tier BB captains. It is very nice that you are trying to learn, and asking questions. This makes you different from the potatoes! Your mind is well developed. But your play is not at the moment. You just need to go back, play low tiers.. 4 - 5.. 6.. Because high tiers, punishment you take when you make a mistake.. gets really really bad! You need to learn, Aiming, (I know you think your aiming is good but the general scene you are describing tells that your aiming is horrible) Positioning, (dying in 5 mins If you support) Learn about the ships... because If you don't know your enemy, you cannot kill it.. and about the money, I don't lose money on tier 10 with that tier 10 prem camos. And I am a completely average player... I win half of my games.. thats all.. and credits are never a problem at high tiers. So.. get better.. buy prem camo instead of prem ships.. play your tier 10s happily. But don't forget, I am sorry to say this, but according to your own statement, you are now an enormous burden to the teams you are joining. and you will understand this, when you figure out the game and getting better. Then you will be frustrated as hell to the Conq captain, who sits at 20km and spams HE on enemy ships.. I never meant to offend you.. nothing personal here.. So.. just incase that I did boo boo.. why is it important for you to show other people that you beat someone?

russian radar is just a nuisance for DDs.. A moskva can fire 2 max 3 (AR and Radar Mod) tops at that duration. If you get caught to a US radar.. you probably won't leave that spot alive or with much HP at best. I prefer 5 moskvas on the enemy team, rather than 3 Desmos..

I've played a single game on new Okinawa.. I loved it.. Really.. Now you can't have Half of your team going A because of islands.. and sit there entire game.. I really loved the new Okinawa.. and additionally it is now more friendly to the DDs..

Epicenter, is the hardest mode for randoms to play with, because of reasons which I shouldn't tell here.. Or I get banned. that mode really needs great team work, and the tactics can be infinite. Remove the Epicenter from Randoms, and put it into the Clan Battles. Clan battles are getting a little bit stale with all the maps and same all meta. just put epicenter in it..

Those ribbons are for Primary ship ribbons mate.. Just so you know If you are talking about the teal ribbons on the right top corner of the caorusel... (fecking word!) There are people in our clan, talking about it too.. The final task of the 1st part is not getting unlocked.. There is a clear bug..
