The thing is, Premium copy ships can be understood, people like ships and they prefer to play premium versions of them, because silver and XP earning and captain training. That is completely understandable. Some of them are just like collector editions, some people like to have all the ships in their port. and I really wonder why does it bother you that much? And another point, you think yamato and musashi has substantial differences.. but not Iowa and missouri? Belfast and edinburgh? really? one has HE, other has Heal.. radar??? Completely different play styles... Mutsu has torpedos, nagato dont.. I am not gonna go over your whole list.. But most of the "Clone ships" you say, are extremely different for me.. and again, ship collectors :)

OK then, what I've read here.. even without doing damage, just replace the lone DD with CV.. for spotting and reseting the caps.. CV + Montana + 4CA + Khaba or Harugumo this line up pops in my head..

But german cruiser and BB captains.. I've seen some of them trying to torp from +12 kms.. and one of them actually said, he hit a battleship from 10kms with torps before.. My nose is already flat from all the facepalms I do.. and anyway, what is it with the cruiser and battleship captains with torpedos? Do they have to give complete broadside to another BB just to torp it?? really??

If I may, I think OP trying to say that, In this new event of Naval battles, you are racing against the opponents to get the treshold of Base XP values. So I guess he says, we are playing in randoms, our teammembers can be very bad so our very good performance would not get rewarded. I presume he tries to ask "Only winning battles should count for naval battle tries?" OP? Damn! Ninjas!

If a DD is hunting you from the other side of the map, thank him, he is doing a big favor to your team. Because a CV hunting DD is even worse than a 20km shima captain...

You know what, they really need to do a test before they sell asashios, I've seen a lot of them torping DD smokes... cruisers... etc..

Hello folk, Thanks to some reports, I've realized that we tend to miss to block the names which are onscreen. I mean we block names from team lists, but the actual game screen we leave names out. I think first reaction from everybody will replace everything with AA monsters. Shimas and Zs will be replaced with gearings and grozovois, zao's will be replaced with more minos, desmos, or even with AA specced hindis (yes they are very nasty) But what happens after that, we will see.. The only question in my mind is, If all the ships would be AA monsters and stay rougly in 2 groups, would it be better not to bring a CV in? may be?

For me the key for brawling with another DD in haru is, turn broadside and a little away as soon as I see the DD, unless it is a daring or jutland or Z series tiers IX and X then 10 seconds.. hard turn 180 degrees.. In case of ever mentioned DDs above, I sail direcly bow on to a Brit DD, or directly away from Z.. :) then start mingling.. Haru usually wins gun fights with other DDs, If the enemy captain is not a unicum :)

you should join our very sweet and wellcomed divison of 2 belfasts + 1 fiji sometimes then :) we usually end up top or mid tier.

Hello fellow captains, I started to play this game a while back before taking a year break. I admit I committed a sin and left this game for tonks! But I am back since 2 years almost and very happy to be the part of this community! I've started this game because of my love for Bismarck! I read "Sunk the Bismarck" more than 10 times before I was out from primary! My father was a Navy Commander / Helicopter pilot in the Turkish Navy. I grew up in and around of the biggest navy base playing on and around of warships, submarines, helicopters and planes! And as a last note, I am a professional sailor as well! There will be two parts in this post, part 1 - Player: what you describing with putting them in same matches is called sync dropping, clan members get into same voice channel and countdown to hit battle with different divisions. We do them very occasionally in DAVY. But don't get me wrong, not to get onto the same team, but to the opposite. Because this is a multiplayer game and what is more fun than to kill somebody you know and rub in their face after the game! I even get sad when I see them they go to the other side of the map! and we never ever get in contact with the other team, which usually deteriorate your own communication inside your own division, hence your gameplay! Part 2 - Moderator: In the past, there were some examples of same clan members going in opposite teams and helping each other achieve something, complete a mission or etc. Even though sync dropping is not illegal, all members has to play normally. If you are sure clan members on opposite teams are setting the matches and making one side win, please take your replay and open a ticket to the customer support with the detailed explanation involving the time stamps of the incident happenning. Kutuzov was a beast before all these radars, x marks the spot, smoke changes, stealth firing etc. But still a very strong ship, that strength comes from a combination of unusual range for a tier 8 cruiser and very flat, rail gun arcs of russian guns. So it is not hard for the average player to shoot and hit a cruiser from 19 kms away with kutuzov, you add that a long time smoke and torpedos, and give it to a very good player, you have an extremely scary combination in your hands.

dont get me wrong, more HP, 1 more turret, Harugumo is better If you ask me! It does turn like a battleship, but you should have used to it since akizuki is even worse :P But yeah.. Kitakaze.. I guess.. kitakaze should be the subject of a couple nerf in the future.. because that thing has stealth, agility and firepower. Kitakaze is a little bit OP I think.. Put harugumo on tier 9 with a little bit HP nerf and remove 1 turret, put kita on tier 10 with a little more HP and one more gun! now that way you can have 2 OP ship instead of 1 :)

Thats because of the ships in the MM waiting for matches in a given time are not balanced... usually, some tiers are shafted more than others. Since up to tier 4 it is protective match making for most of the ships, so tier 6 ships are usually mid or bottom tier, and because a lot of people playing tier 10s and tier 9s (thanks to prem tier 9s and long grind of silver tier 9s,) tier 8 ships usually go bottom tier %50 of the time.. when you put these two piece of information together, you reach to the magical tier of tier 7! %50 top tier at least :) then you insert a pay...ehem.. Belfast into the equation! = limitless fun! limitless tears!
