For what it's worth, it was great. Opinions aside, people are triggered by anything these days, such that they get up-in-arms over minutiae. Then the misconstruing starts, and the feeling that they are somehow under personal attack. It's not limited to WoWs, but this isn't the place to discuss this further. It was a cool way to introduce the new line.

I've had different experiences both as CV and against, so from my point of view this is more debatable. The devstrike thing however is not.

But... CVs ability to devstrike has been severely curtailed since rework. It's very rare now. Barring detonations, or something like Haku hitting all AP bombs in the citadel of an already damaged Edinburgh or something.

They will never release a CV line with only one plane type. They won't take it in this direction. They will never release an entire line without all 3 plane types either. As for AP rockets, who knows? I mean, AP bombs was a KM thing originally IIRC, then a USN option, then they removed that and gave it to IJN, etc.

When you paint me pretty pictures like that, I start to think I was mistaken in being somewhat dismissive of FDR over Haku or Midway in CB In any case, I must have it.

Looking at FDR, it isn't exactly going to be a top pick for CB. Besides, AFAIK we don't have a release date, it could come after.

Could have been 1 BB and 1 CV per team, just increase the player cap by 1 to give it the spot. Maybe in a future season.

The advantage Bourg and Repu have is that they're immune to Haku's AP bombs. They're the only T10 BBs that are. You could make a tactic with them. The problem is, if you do that you don't take a CV, and that means you don't have spotting, which means you need to give up some firepower and take a DD, who needs to spot. And this will be very risky and inefficient compared to the spots the enemy CV will provide, not to mention the fact that said CV poses a real threat to your own spotting, which is the DD. Interesting times.

I think that suggesting to review bomb the game, etc just because the CB meta will be very different next season is a little low. Personally I'm only against the removal of free respec for next season.

In a way, I kind of admire what WG is doing - which is going their own way with their baby(WOWS), instead of being overly influenced by other parties(Us) Hopefully this comment doesn't offend anyone
