    Other Hurricane teams we met today didn't run this setup, except for that one in the screenshot, that was also Hurricane. I think it's a little too soon to tell though, everyone is still getting a feel for it. Hope tomorrow is more fun for you guys. If nothing else, I think it's interesting.

    Pretty much the same for me and over the same period as you is when I began to notice it happening more often. I just put it down to bad luck though.

    @OVanBruce That interaction was not fun for the CV. But the CV interaction with surface ships is not fun for a lot of people in both camps either. But depending on who you ask, it's better than it ever has been. Such is the nature of the rework. As for my stance... *shrug* At this point, just whatever.

    How to improve your game?

    Hard to give specific advice just by looking at numbers, but your average damage is very low. This could indicate problems in positioning, and/or being too aggressive and dying too quickly to deal enough damage or have any meaningful outcome on your games. Conversely, it could indicate plays that are too passive as well. Consider these things, and with more experience you can eventually learn when to push, when to kite, how to position your ship and how to stay alive. Staying alive is paramount to winning more games as well. A dead ship can no longer deal damage, or put pressure, spot, or contest caps. A dead ship can no longer contribute to the win.

    Sometimes BB shells overpen. It depends on things like penetrative power at the moment of impact, area of impact, shell fuse, armour of the cruiser at area of impact, etc.

    How many times would that be now Jokes aside there are too many skills which are basically essential. BB main here. Take Concealment for example or Fire Prevention. Given these are built into the tree, and given this game's meta, you're forced to take them. The overwhelming majority of people are picking them anyway. So... remove them from the tree, bake it in to the ships and add some skills that allow for more build variety instead of the linear build paths we have now.

    Meh... Better than PR grind fiasco isn't exactly an achievement. It's also another kettle of fish altogether. If we consider the LMs, then the missions for the tier X ships did that just fine, so. They could even tweak them, if they wanted. But why remove them? Why make it so you have to reset progress in lines and regrind twice? It's bull and the opening of another revenue stream. That's all.

    It's so ingrained in the player mentality now after years of WG promoting this kind of play. It's too late to change methinks.

    This. BFT's 3 points you should put into keeping your BB afloat - survivability. AFT is still a must have though imo or there's not much point. So, Manual + AFT is the way to go. No matter what, at the end of the day having secondaries worth a damn is a heavy investment and requires big sacrifices in terms of skills and modules.

    Let's look at one of those best ones, eg. Yamas Legendary mod. What do you get compared to the best, most competitive alternative, Reload Mod? - Noticeably improved, more consistent accuracy. - Better reload(but not good as with rl mod.) - Worse turret traverse(19% compared to 13% on rl mod.) In competitive, this is the only choice. It's so good, if your Yama player doesn't have this you might even ask him to just take another BB. Why? Because it's a straight up upgrade compared to rl mod. and the downsides are hardly noticeable and even mitigated with Yamamoto. If you're serious about comps, and you want to use Yama in your strat, then he MUST have this mod. And this is the problem: you could do this before, when they offered only Colbert, Ohio, signals, etc in the RB. If they put the LMs here now you really will have no choice. If you want to stay competitive, you have to participate.

    Republique, Bourgogne, and other high tier french BBs are also really fun and strong for this kind of thing, if you know what you're doing and when to do it. Just keep in mind their under-the-turret weakspot, they're pretty to cit there if you present a suitable angle when the enemy fires.
