@Aethervoxx As I mentioned on the previous page, the dates start from just before rework and end on the day of posting. The last date written on the graph at the bottom right is the 1st of May. As for intervals, it's on a monthly basis, but I realise it's hard to see from that screenshot. What you're seeing is the result from all of last year from the 1st of January 2019 up till now.

u might want to update your beginners guide this year

Even the wiki contributors seem to have given up. The wiki is full of outdated and just plain wrong info depending on the entry. -
I'd say 199k spotting in any class is excellent whether in division or not, and you did good keeping the spots up. My highest ever is 274,875. Solo, but in Audacious, not a DD. I don't know how to check my DD highest spotting.

New shipclass idea.... Auxiliary Ships
Miragetank90 replied to Yosha_AtaIante's topic in General Discussion
To be fair, plenty of players are already doing that in the ships we have currently. -
New shipclass idea.... Auxiliary Ships

Only if we get a class that spawns controllable frogmen, and not before. -
WG should reduce Yamato's citadel
Miragetank90 replied to Hades_warrior's topic in General Discussion
Not true. Yamato is more than capable of pushing and getting up close if you know how to handle her well. This is actually where she can be at her most dangerous. Not even Kremlin will survive. In fact, the supposedly OP Kremlin will do jack to you. The only thing he can do is try to damage you with HE, while you are overmatching his bow all day long. Assuming it's a one-on-one only way Kremlin will survive is if he gets lucky, or you mess up. I've done this in CB many times. Though I did prefer Kremlin last season with the cyclone meta, Yamato is a scary pusher. -
Why are WG games more frustrating than other games?

When you get frustrated again, come back to this thread and look at this: -

WG should reduce Yamato's citadel
Miragetank90 replied to Hades_warrior's topic in General Discussion
Yamato is freaking amazing, still one of the best BBs in this game, and still one of the most competitive picks during tourneys or CB. Sorry for being blunt, but this is a git gud issue. Yamato doesn't need any buffs. -
That would be a kickass name for a Stoner Metal band holy crap! Gotta write that down...

Looks like I missed some good

I guess on a line graph like that one it's just easier to represent them as percentages relative to each other.

@CptBarney @Yoshanai @AgarwaenME Sorry, forgot this part... Because I'm dumb. Sorry. Hopefully it makes more sense now.

What happens IRL is not really relevant to this graph, since it's showing the shared % totals of the amount of battles played(regardless of how many battles are played). So even if the total no. of battles played in WOWS goes up or down due to COVID, it's not going to have an effect on the % of CV battles within that total. Besides, this is also showing data from way before the pandemic began. And when it did hit, no significant change was registered on this graph. Right now, we are actually in one of the more stable periods. Not sure. But this in itself paints a good picture I think. Popularity definitely went up, and stayed up since last year. Interesting thing, notice how DD and CV trends are pretty mirrored for the most part.
-
On the left I see ''% of total amount of battles'' and the bottom are dates which starts from right before the rework in 2019(notice the bump in CV popularity VS. the dip in DD popularity) to currently. The last date on the bottom is the 1st of May 2020.

Hm, well... So I'd say in that sense(increase in players), it succeeded.

Analysis for number of "Special", "Research Bureau", "Steel", "Coal" and "Free XP" high tier ships on WoWs EU server...
Miragetank90 replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Most popular purchase and in the shortest period for an armoury ship. Smolensk was like a flash in the pan in terms of availability compared to JB, which had been around for much longer in comparison. And yet, look at the numbers. It's a crappy thing that this game got flooded with so many Smolensks, and so quickly.- 40 replies

Strange mystery of unknown origin
Miragetank90 replied to anonym_hiiw5uZtBExP's topic in General Discussion
Fun fact, Conq AP is even better for citadelling Smolensks, because of their 70mm arming threshold, which is exactly the cit armour of the Smolensk. You will not overpen Smolensk citadel at any range with it, thanks also to the very short fuse on the AP. All other Tier X BB HE will cit it as well, save Montana and Bourg. But, their AP will not yield the same consistent result. -

Strange mystery of unknown origin
Miragetank90 replied to anonym_hiiw5uZtBExP's topic in General Discussion
So about the Cruisers: What happened with the PR is not surprising, since you showed way too much broadside, meanwhile he was angled away from you and at a good distance. As for Yoshino, you used the right shell type for the situation. That's good. You dealt decent damage to him, but either your aim was off or RNG wasn't giving you more. It happens. Smolensk is a troll, but you did alright, not sure what you were expecting here. And, Moskva AP on him at those angles he was mostly presenting isn't going to insta-delete him. As for Haku, he landed 6 torps on you, but that's got nothing to do with powercreep. Actually, none of those situations are. -
Friesland is actually even better at defending itself VS. CVs than Halland, because Friesland at least has smoke and, for what it's worth, a very good one.
