It's not clairvoyance. It's using a brain. You can be an average player or unicum, if torpedoes are consistently a huge problem for you that doesn't mean the class is in a bad state. It means you are messing up, you are doing something wrong. Based on that, you are trying to say therefore, that BBs are not worth getting or playing, simply because they can have their mistakes punished and therefore die or eat a ton of damage. If anything, the fact that some people like to back-line camp all game in their BBs is indicative of the state of the player, not the state of the class, because there is poor play happening in every class. I fail to see whats so arrogant about me telling you something useful that ACTUALLY WORKS AND COULD MAYBE HELP YOU. YOU, AN AVERAGE PLAYER CAN DO THIS TOO. But here we are again, with you scoffing at that and covering your ears again.

A DD doesn't have to be spotted for you to make an educated guess on where he is based on a variety of feedback depending on the situation, map, lineup etc and prepare accordingly. If you can't understand that that's weaknesses and limitations in your own play, and nothing to do with BBs as a class. But this has been explained already, and you still don't get it. Much easier to claim BBs are sitting ducks which can't do anything.

According to WoWs-Numbers, I have 11,560 random battles, 11,305 of which are solo. Lifetime stats in BBs are 59.29% W/R and 1902 PR. Recent BB stats are always in the super-unicum or unicum range in both metrics. You know, I almost feel sorry for you.

I placed my experience at Average and ''fun'' at 2. It was hard for me to have fun this season, and Haku was my most played ship by a huge margin. I chose Average because there were still some highs which raised the whole experience, but that was mostly due to our players rather than having anything to do with CBs itself. I guess playing with friends just makes everything better, you get me? But yes, on the whole this season was shitty. Let's have some more regular-style CBs for a while please.

I have exactly 50% of all my games in BBs. I'm not getting frustrated(Hell, one of my all time favourite BBs is freaking Vanguard). Focus on how you can improve your play rather than adopting a defeatist attitude. That's really all there is to it. You will have much more fun and you will see for yourself that in a BB one isn't so helpless after all. I promise you, BBs as a class are just fine.

I tend to agree. I think Venezia could have its manoeuvrability reduced somewhat. imo it has too much going for it. Small disclaimer of my own, I'm still on Trento. But I've seen and fought crazy amounts of Venezia in CBs.

I think you're not seeing the big picture when it comes to BBs and how other classes interact with them and vice versa in the context of random games. And I hate to repeat what has already been said, but most of these ''problems'' go away with a little good positioning, good play and sound aim. A potato BB player is punished. A Strong BB player pulls off amazing results, and with much greater consistency. That's the truth. Isn't that the ideal situation?

In the case of Republique, even if you want to go for this ''alternative playstyle'' approach this upgrade remains questionable. Your range is basically gutted from 26.1 to 19.8 IIRC for a 6% reload buff, which assuming you were using Main Battery Mod. 3 already, translates to about 1 second faster reload over the latter. It's just not worth giving up that much range for such a small reload difference, and on a squishy platform. Range gives you options. Without this mod, you can STILL duke it out just fine at close range, WHILE having the ability to lay down the hurt or apply pressure at long range, for example. Why would you give that up for ~1s better Reload? And the removal of the turret traverse penalty is still not valuable enough to make this UU worth mounting, considering Republique turret traverse is still excellent even with MBM3(33.6 degrees per sec, albeit with Jean-Jaques Honore).

Even without hints, that you got up to Lexington and Shokaku without realising it is pretty amazing to be honest. If you hit a flak burst, you lose a lot of HP and possibly lose planes in one go. You never noticed this before?

Flak follows certain rules. They spawn in a pattern with a bit of randomness to the exact position of the puffs, and at set intervals of time, in a predictive way based on where your planes are going to be.Turning your planes and/or varying your speed helps you dodge them. Generally speaking boosting in a straight line to target is a good way to get them wiped.

All I see is an epic fail at dodging flak.
