Graf Spee will be in the mix as a BB alternative, kind of proto-Stalin... thing... albeit with bad accuracy. It can overmatch CAs too, depending. For teams forgoing CV for BB PEF would probably be one of the strongest picks thanks to good armour, good speed and the ''best'' AA at tier 6.

This is ranked sprint, not real ''ranked'' so to speak. Even so, some things apply to both: - It's very possible to fail your way to the top given enough battles. - Ranked MM is based on rank, but I can't remember the exact parameters. However, as the season goes on into the late stage, you have less people in the pool - so near the end it's possible to be playing at rank 2 but getting matched against rank 8, for example. The rank itself doesn't mean much. Ranked is about how much of the rewards you want to grab, at least I see it that way.

I really like Yubari though, even now - good, fun ship in which you will get murdered if you don't know what you're doing, while rewarding good shot placement. It's like a low-tier guilty pleasure I play from time to time. It's really too bad about the AA. Give it some more DPS or at least more than one flak cloud. Come on.

On the subject of DDs, I really liked using Kidd this sprint. I was actually sad in the odd game where I didn't get any CVs. Oh yeah, and I don't have Asashio - but I wouldn't have taken it to sprint anyway. Just me. Of course, only complete Jackasses would report someone for their ship picks.

Is it harder for you to believe there are better and more experienced players than you, or harder to believe that not everybody recites the same mantra you constantly see around here? Let me put it this way: If you're the type of player who likes to sit statically in bow-in BBs or play far too aggressively then yes, Smolensk is OP and totally kills the game.

I saw the same gameplay. No, actually I've seen much more of it than you and at every level in random and competitive. You're welcome to think that it's OP or breaking the game, however, imo you would be wrong.

Maybe you're forgetting this but Smolensk did actually receive a nerf, just not to the guns. The 30mm deck armour and amidships side plating which covered a large portion of the centre was removed and replaced with 16mm, which is overmatched by 229mm-plus AP and pennable by all HE shells it will meet. The ship was much more troll before in terms of protection. Also, it's not overpowered.

The AP bomb alpha nerf affects Enterprise as well.

Welp, AA nerf meme aside Krem already had her sigma and alpha nerfed since release, so you should be safe there methinks.

It seems few people on here hold this view but I think KM BBs are fine. In fact, thanks to the buffs, imo they are downright strong now. Not nearly as weak or helpless as some people make them out to be.

You need to dodge the flak clouds, that's the basic idea. Do that and you'll get your strike. For more advanced concepts, you can do some searching on the forum or youtube.
