I vote no thanks. I'm not against BBs with weak armour, but I'm not into this idea to give BBs frankly too-insane levels of accuracy. Yamato should have stayed the gold standard. The opinion of one BB main.

It's the same. You're forgetting to mount secondary flag on Tirpitz, which is why it's giving only 10.8km.

That was true years back, now they're exactly the same in this regard and have been for quite a long time now. As has been pointed out, the only real differences lie in Bismarck having hydro and better AA, and Tirpitz having torps instead of hydro... premium status notwithstanding.

I can appreciate that sentiment. Myself I would have preferred Italian BB line announcement, but I'm no less excited for some new and very different high-tier BBs relative to the others we have currently.

You can try This thread is depressing though. So many posters in here already giving hard passes or spreading sentiments like: ''What's the point of XYZ?'' when nobody has any idea how these ships are going to perform yet. How many times has this happened again? Just watch. If, say, flamu came out with a vid tomorrow praising the new BBs as strong new additions and amazing ships, so many people would suddenly do a 180 overnight. Just funny things you tend to observe around here.

So played a few games, I really like her. Just wish she EITHER had the same heal as the mainline USN BBs OR had a little better accuracy. Everything else is fine. Her concealment is really nice. But according to my clanmates I'm supposedly a masochist, so... She's also gorgeously THICC Not exactly a proper test, but had a Kaga focusing me for some mins one game, I had only my own AA(No buffs of any kind) and no fighter. He dodged the flak pretty well, getting clipped a little by it only once that I could see, but I almost managed to score AA defense expert. I had 33 kills I think, AA steadily worn down to 65% at the last. No CAP fighters were part of that total, he didn't use any. It WAS Kaga squadrons, but initial impression is that Cali is kind of a prickly target.

Very strong, short duration engine boost with exhaust smoke, very strong but very low range torps... Paolo's playstyle became that of a high-risk, high-reward yolo-DD. Interesting concept change. Just think of all the radar and hydro that will be blocking you though. Dealing damage could be pretty tricky. This ship will need a lot of skill to do well in, even then - it'll take some working around that other DDs don't really have to worry about.

And what does Khaba even counter? Jokes. I love Khaba. I'm an anomaly I guess.

Edited my original post. I remember why I thought it was Shima actually. I don't have Haru, but I have Shima, so a clanmate recommended Shima as the next best option for cheapest reset. Somehow over time that translated to: ''Shima is the cheapest'' in my mind. Ty for the correction.

Yes it's very close. I didn't calculate it myself but in talking about it a friend told me Shima was cheapest, followed right behind by Haru.

I'm going to get her, just a matter of time. Trying to decide whether or not I should buy her now or Champagne now. I'd rather not get both so close to each other - I like to watch my finances.

If anyone stumbles upon this and was wondering - the cheapest line to reset(in terms of FXP) is still Shima Haru IIRC. EDITED: Shima is next with roughly 8k more XP neeeded.

On the subject of trailers, this one is my all-time favourite WoWs trailer. I was so hyped to play after watching this one for the first time.

Nonsense. I heartily approve of this Atlanta camo. She looks just like the beaches of the islands she's meant to hide behind - vegetation, beach paraphernalia and all. Or, depending on how you look at it, she hugged the islands so much she became the island. Very subversive and thought-provoking. From an artists perspective, this is brilliant. Intense. True art.

Mino is one of the better accelerators at this tier for Cruisers. Only legendary Des Moines beats it. It's the deceleration that is I love Mino. Unless you're specifically looking for a HE spammer, Mino is flat out stronger than Smolensk, and heaps more fun to use.

Yeah, they have little trouble kekking on everyone, that's for sure. Muh BB main-ness is becoming obsolete. ='(

Ah right, Bayern has planes, it's true. In any case, I wouldn't lean too heavily towards CV over BB just yet for tier 6. We'll see how the meta develops, but BB could end up being a legit alternative, or even the better pick - unlike the previous season, with a host of good BBs to choose from depending on the strat.
