Just see the game for what it is - a game about ships that go boom-boom and planes that go zoom-zoom. Block out everything else for a while and you can have fun. That's what I try to do at least. And it works. Things like below don't bother me so much anymore. Just an annoying thing that eventually goes away and everything goes back to normal.

The St. Andrews' cross with crossed cannons and anchor is a historical flag, I don't have the game open but IIRC it was the flag of a fort commander during the old Imperial days. You could only get this one by reaching a certain rank in ranked battles during a specific season. IDK if it'll be available again.

GZ is a good ship, but her AP bombs are wonky. This is the biggest gripe I have, personally. The problem in your case though is that you bought her(a tier 8 CV) without actually knowing how to play CV yet. So in that sense, it was a wrong move. For example, if you have problems dodging flak, then your fundamentals are lacking still, never mind the more advanced concepts. There's a lot of post-rework CV guides around in here, youtube, and elsewhere. Good streamers too. Unfortunately I can't point you to specific content because I don't follow them myself. Though you could probably learn a lot from @El2aZeR and his CV-related content. Or my boi @_Warfarin_ Look around. Learn the basics.

It isn't an encouragement, just the alternative option that exists to get the camo and that OP didn't know about. Since the CVs are pure RNG drops, this is the only guaranteed way to get that camo, if he wanted it. Whether it's worth 7500 doubs is of course up to the individual.

@Panocek So: Basically everything was fine on my PC side with virtualisation and so on, but it still wasn't working. I quit KoPlayer and went back to the beginning with NOX. Updated everything, still the same problems as before. But then, after looking around online, I thought to try using the instance manager to run AL in Android 4 instead of 5, which I had been using up to that point. And just like that - it works. No crashes, quick load times, and it ran very smoothly, though without sound. Restarting the NOX client fixed the latter. And so I actually managed to get past 1st tutorial and choose a ship without incident. Nice. Hopefully I can actually play the game now. Thanks again.

I think your persistent beef with supertesters isn't so much that you have to fight test ships, but rather because you see them as being overpowered in the testing phase, and you cannot capitalise on that yourself, since you're not a tester. It's all over your posts. I guaran-damn-tee that if you had access to, say, Slava and what you perceive as her OPness, you wouldn't have any issues.

It's too expensive. If it were a bit cheaper I wouldn't be so middling about buying a camo mission. Also new AL ships are coming, and I need to watch my expenses.

I'm pretty hyped for the CVs myself. The camos though I'm middling. I wanted it pretty badly for Kurfurst in the beginning, but now I'm not so sure. Looking at it closely, I'm on the fence about the figurehead on the bow. We'll see.

@Eternus_Damnatio @Nibenay78 @Yamato942 You can also get the tokens for a camo by buying one of the challenges for doubloons in the armoury. There's one for BBs, CAs, or DDs. They're 7500 doubs each and contain goodies. And, completing the mission chain they unlock gives a total of 600 tokens. So you don't need all the CVs for the camos or whatever.
