I agree and disagree at the same time, but yes, even though imo she can still absolutely flex and make the play when needed there are other ships you might rather have at those moments. That's why I prefer Ohio.

I use it on USN and RN CVs only, that's my preference. It's not worth it on the IJN or KM ones. You have graf zep and Lowenhart(?) which can benefit from it but you'll need to spec a new captain for them, since the mainline absolutely does not need it.

Meh, the hull has the best in tier rudder(tied with full-rudder legendary conq build) with an absolutely ridiculous 8.3 sec shift max, combined with the best stealth and an actually strong heal(which heals for more and on faster CD than the usual, even if it isn't conq level). It's a little squishy but I wouldn't call it the worst hull or even a bad hull.

I fail to see how being above in CVs relative to the rest necessarily disqualifies anyone's thoughts because he must have some insidious motive. Even if there weren't any in comps, he would be playing, actually he has done more training this KOTS than me(who still hasn't attended even one ) And as far as I can see he never defended CVs, his argument was always centred on Venezia. Since you made that observation about him, I'll make one as well - if you claim he is defending CVs then you are trying to fight a battle that isn't really there. He is not wrong about Venezia and also, yes, the ship needed to be toned down. I've said this before but I'll reiterate, imo it had too much good going for it. This has already been discussed at length elsewhere, you are free to disagree. As for the CV thing, everyone who plays CB knows it completely upended everything seen previously and he hasn't claimed otherwise so I'm not sure what you are talking about or what argument you are trying to get into, as far as I can tell this has evolved into a Venezia thing again. Personally, The only one who can ever decide whether anything was truly a disaster for this game is WG, who develops and runs the show. For all we know, the expected reduction in numbers fell within their expectations, or maybe it didn't. We can opine. That's all. He manages without issue when I'm the CV for example, so I'm not sure where this comes from if only to ''try'' to spit venom at a guy who ultimately only has a different opinion to you. Ohio is more fun unless you like sitting a ways from the fight looking for broadsides to shoot. Slava is highly specialized and one-dimensional in its playstyle. While Ohio doesn't have as good accuracy at long range it can do everything you need it to without issue. Competitively speaking it's also the better ship.

There's no straight answer for this, but you can't really go wrong with USN as far as BBs go. From North Carolina up you have a good mix of characteristics that allow the ships to shine in almost any situation, and they are flexible. Incidentally this was my first line and my very first 10 was Montana.

You can find the reason for that in my post. People can boycott if they so wish, I respect the choice to do so. What I don't respect is guilting them into doing it by insinuating that they are simply selfish. It's not unthinkable that others hold different opinions other than your own. That doesn't mean they ''care less'' than you about the matter or are self-interested. As usual, I watch all these things from a point of interest, whichever way it goes. Personally I'm not interested in getting overly involved and just run with it, CVs or not. The cyclone reduces detection to 14km. There is no CA that is going to stealth radar you in that that couldn't already do it with clear weather barring some specific circumstance. Like this: Enemy Stalin is sitting by an island, with your DD and Petro close. The Petro is 14.5 KM away with LOS, and should spot stalin now from his current position but he can't because cyclone. Meanwhile, DD has no LOS on the Stalin because of the island, but approaches within 12km to cap. Stalin uses radar from stealth, because Petro isn't close enough to see him yet.

This one I made back before Graf Zep was even a thing And this one I made as part of the contest to win Missouri when it first came out. We had to make a Steven Seagal themed meme in any format we wanted. I was one of the two winners and received a free Missouri, special flag and WoWs tee that was also signed by Seagal.

I mean, CVs aside the cyclone is 14km. The latter and stealth radar isn't going to negatively impact DDs. From a gameplay perspective at least. The problem for me is it's 7v7. I wish it were 8v8, then we'd have more room to accommodate a DD, now it might be better to just take another CA instead, like many did in the infamous first CV season.
