Getting back to this - You can't do that technique on a target with def AA on. I've tested it and double-checked just now. So in that sense, DefAA is doing something. But we need to test it more. It could be user error from me that can be fixed with some practice.

If you die from 40% HP just like that from CV then you made a big mistake or you got extremely unlucky. Or perhaps you detonated.

Personally I don't really see how this is even a big problem. If I die - I just accept that I did, or that maybe I am going to. Otherwise, I just dodged and I survive. Feel free to check whether I am a CV main or not. heh Since it's related, this is from the official stance from the latest QnA for those who haven't seen it yet. Asking the real question here. Why not just buff DFAA back to when it used to decrease drop accuracy/scatter drops? This could/should be the one thing that does counter CV's and currently it is a completely useless consumable. For now we have no such plans. However, now the DFAA actually indirectly affects the accuracy of the squadron attack. For example, if a player attacks a ship with DFAA activated and maneuvers - the attack will become less effective due to the aiming reticle expansion while moving. And if he doesn't maneuver, a greater deal of his planes would be destroyed.

My build. Works very well but you need some big boy pants as most are not willing to part with either conceal or FP, let alone both. This is also the build I use in CB, though I used a more standard build in the last KOTS. Incidentally, this also meshes perfectly with Georgia and Massa.

To its credit Minnesota arguably has the best all-round armour of the line with extensive 38mm plating and only very little 32mm areas on the tips of the bow and stern, so we'll see. I'm getting Kansas for free then going to play to get Vermont ASAP without skipping.

76mm is way too much for deck armour for t6(I'm assuming you mean flight deck) and would have to be drastically toned down for the game in this regard. Even at t8, there is no CV with anywhere near as good deck armour. Only the brits have just a strip of thicker armour on the flight deck which can shatter SOME large calibre shells, and that's it. The planes are also ridiculously fast and will need adjusting if those ones are implemented.

That's easily fixed for the most part. Even if it isn't, the person with the bg noise can still use TS or Disc with mic off so he can at least hear orders. It's better than nothing. Then again, if the team in question is not really attempting to climb up and is just playing for lulz it doesn't really matter in the end.
