    wowsTEXcomp by IsamuKondera - 2021 About wowsTEXcomp: wowsTEXcomp is a command line tool which allows every user to scale down every World of Warships texture. Aimed at players that have problems running the game at low settings or creators of modpacks which wish to provide options for such players. Screenshot of wowsTEXcomp.exe Requirements: A NVIDIA or AMD GPU! Graphic Units from CPUs are not supported! Minimum: .NET 4.6.1 installed Compatible with the WargamingLauncher version of the game (Steam not yet confirmed) Installation: Download the tool Place it where you want Download the wowsunpacker Speed: 34846 textures extracted, processed and zipped in around 30 minutes Intel i7 9700k (stock speed) SATA III SSD GTX 1660TI (Your speed may vary on hard drive, CPU and GPU speed) How to use: Start cmd Go to the location of wowsTEXcomp.exe Execute with your prefered options Usage: wowstexcomp.exe [OPTIONS...] Options: -h -H Show this help -n -N Do not extract files -e -E <path> Path for extractor output -g -G <path> Path to your World of Warships installation -s -S <scale> Scale in decimal e.g. 0.25 => 25% -w -W <path> Path to the directory where this tool will place all scaled files -o -O <path> Path to the Zip directory -z -Z <name> Zip Filename Default behaviour: When the program gets started without any options, it will search for the game at the default path. It also assumes that the wowsunpacker is located inside the game folder. It will extract the files into a directory at the location of your wowsTEXcomp.exe and will also create all new files of resized textures in another directory at the same location of your wowsTEXcomp.exe. Additional Information: This tool only supports direct paths! To zip the scaled images, provide either option -o or -o and -z! Can be used to scale user mods as well! For this provide the option -n for not extracting a file and provide the path to the mod via -e Examples: Rescale an existing mod: wowstexcomp.exe -n -e "C:\MyModPath" -s 0.25 -g "H:\Games\World_Of_Warships" -w "H:\RescaledModFiles" Create two scaled down texture zips for a mod package: First execute: wowstexcomp.exe -e "H:\ExtractedFiles" -s 0.25 -g "H:\Games\World_Of_Warships" -w "H:\RescaledModFiles" -o "H:\Packages" Then execute: wowstexcomp.exe -e "H:\ExtractedFiles" -s 0.125 -g "H:\Games\World_Of_Warships" -w "H:\RescaledModFiles" -o "H:\Packages" -n Warning: Second command only works when the directory provided by -e has dds texture files!
