It goes without saying that the objectives in WoWs are crucial, if you ignore them you're sure to be losing just on points alone or worse you'll lose the game due to your base being camped. In domination, you have no chance of winning if your team doesn't contest the capture points while being a few ships down; normally the difference in points will lose you the game before you've even lost the rest of your ships. Usually while I'm pushing an objective the rest of the team around me turns around just before entering the cap and today in a domination game I asked my team to push the middle cap and to stop sailing around in circles near the one cap they had managed to take, the reply I received was ridiculous: 'I'm not a pro like you'. So why would anybody ignore a capture point? Is it some kind of losing mentality that players have developed over the last few weeks?

New players or not, something is seriously wrong with these people. Even with a 'normal' game, the game is incredibly unbalanced. Have a look at the bottom two players on my team, they never once pushed into a cap and instead either sat behind an island or hugged the edge of the map trying to snipe. How can you play 1000+ games and still have less than 45% wins? For gods sake, I'm on 600 games and 55%. The games I lose are just pathetic, I never see players like this on the opposing team when I win. [edited]

I'm not sure how the matchmaking works but I can imagine it working in such a way that it tries to minimize the advantages a division has. I suppose that's why whenever you see a division on one team, you see a similar sized division on the opposing team. A group of well organized players working together as top tier in a match doesn't sound like much fun for the other team, especially so considering how much a random player works with their team.

Went from 54% to 53% in the space of a day. Makes sense considering I've been coming top and the last player alive on the team in almost all of those games. I started playing a few months ago before Christmas and now suddenly I'm losing 10 games in a row despite me playing like this? What the hell has happened in the last day with these players? I decided to buy some doubloons a couple days ago also, now I'm regretting that. And to think I was considering buying some low tier premium ships just for some fun... I'm on the verge of quitting. A shame really, I was enjoying it until the random players broke the game.
