It's kinda sad. Here we have a bunch of people, myself included, who are begging for something, that has already been completed, to be released so that they can throw their money at WG. We're not even talking peanuts here. The big package is going to cost more than a triple A game at launch. That ship is a money printing machine for WG and yet they refuse to hit the print button. My guess is that it's because of that convention. They want to make a big bang out of it and hopefully draw the attention away from that other f2p title that is adding a naval aspect to their game soon (given the size of the ships, errr, boats in that game, I expect T1 to include a surf board and a shotgun). Oh well. We just have to be patient, don't we? And if it's not here by the end of the convention, then I think torches and pitchfork can rightfully be put on the menu. -
So Fuso pretty much unplayable unless u buy gold/use free xp?

Always make sure that you have a stash of free XP saved up for situations like that. Some ships suffer more from stock syndrome than others. If you don't want to take a hit on your stats or dragging down your team because of using a stock ship, then grind co-op. Nobody cares about co-op stats or how crappy your stock ship is. It's perfect for that. It's going to be grindy though, because of the lowered rewards. -
Why there is are very few high tir CVs
Lupaerian replied to Spellfire40's topic in General Discussion
I tried the CV thing in low-tier co-op and... well... it wasn't the worst thing I've ever tried, but it didn't exactly inspire me to go any further than that. It just felt like an extremely weak RTS mini-game that has been tacked on to the main game. If I'm going to spend my time playing an RTS, I might as well just go and play a proper RTS when compared to what we have in the game right now. Maybe it changes a bit at higher tiers and what not, but the whole thing just felt clumsy and cobbled together. They can balance till the cows come home, it's not going to change the fact that I just didn't enjoy the basic gameplay and UI mechanics. I do hope that they will put some more effort into making the CV aspect a more enjoyable experience and I'm glad that there are some people out there who like playing CVs. -
