That would at least cure the pain that are detonations in competetive gamemodes. (those in which you really don't want to detonate)

Yes it is a really trivial matter as long as nothing changes like better deals for steamusers or the forced implemantation of a buggy gamecenter..... And you can't use steamwallet and similar ofc.

To be clear i don't know either (as i don't have a WG account on steam) but as far as i understand steam creates just new WG IDs that are bound to steam client. (otherwise they won't be able to post here either and stuff right?) So theoretically you should be able to buy something for that WG ID right? You just can't use an existing account on the other platform as far as i understand it. Now I am curious i will test it with my steamaccount at home if i could login with it here after creating a new WG account.

Huh? What do you mean? As far as I understand it you can already do that anyways. What stops you to fire up the premiumshop on the mainpage and buy something for your WG account that is linked with steam? (or buy as a present with your normallauncher account for your steamaccount)

Okay you are right that there are some costs for servers (which are relatively low considering the size of steam), but that shouldn't matter as like I said only because you make it possible to switch doesn't mean 100% of either group will do it. Only the fact that they can is the problem i guess. Every effort of marketing and/or advertising would be optional though and only done with actual profitgain in mind (and statistics ensuring those will likely happen) They could literaly just only offer the game on the shop without any extra costs escept bandwith, storage and some guys pressing a button (i know it is slightly more complicated that that) every time a new update is given out by WG....

No. Again steam is losing nothing here. They just added WG to their rooster of games (let it be like 2-3 days worth of work from IT maybe less because that is not the first game they put in their shop) and from then on profit for every user that buys WG stuff from them and that number will NEVER reach zero (unless steam cancels the service ofc.) no matter how atractive WG makes it to buy from their shop because ppl are lazy. So which costs do you mean?

No that is a flawed logic. Steam is losing nothing here. WG only has their products and can't really "steal" customers from steam as WG doesn't sell games you also find on Steam. All Steam did is promoting WG to steamusers to potentionaly get provisions for selling WG stuff. Again there will always be the mass of people that just go with the launcher they first installed the game on not caring for potentional better deals on the other side of the pond. (which i hope steam won't do as then the shitstorm is real.)

Jeah detonations are a stupid gamemechanic but this is nothing new. There are threads to this topic without end. Oh and inb4 closing this thread and you getting a warning/ban for not being constructive/interested in diskussion. (last sentence)

While you are right that it is kind of weird to drop the rating of the game because of something like this that has 0% to do with actual gameplay, it's the only thing (besides not buying anything) that WG may care about.... I understand where WG is coming from and could respect that if not for doing it the shady way coming inclusive with an totally obvious lie. They want to reel in new players with Steam right? Why not allow cross launcher (that way steamusers can switch to WG too btw.) but rather capitalize on their exclusivety. Like give extras for buying in the official premiumshop like they do with paypal and the dubloons. Or you know actualy improve things to make their stuff more attractive in the long run. Steam would still attract more new players that wouldn't have found WoWS the normal way and how many players are really going to switch to steam? Renember we are talking about the same players that can't be bothered to have even a slight look on patchnotes every now and then... But no they had to choose the propaganda willingly lie to your customer way.....

That is what i meant. It would be fine if it were like 5-6 hours..... And even then it would still be fine with playing ranked on the days off CB (or even before clanbattles if you are on hollidays).

If they keep those stupid three hour windows on four weekdays they can just as well open ranked at the same time.... Still plenty of time to play ranked..... Even if just on the three days that aren't CB days.... I can understand and respect why they won't do it on xmas hollydays though (even though i would have no problem still playing ranked even on these days).

Sadly you can buy any Premiumship in the Shop (and from the Techtree when you logged in) the moment you succesfully created your WG account. (and you don't need anything extra like a premiumaccount) But please... don't do it. For your own sake too. I have seen many Newbs (read "not Noobs" - aka fresh players) that bought Hightier Premiums right away and ruined everyones fun by getting owned and destroyed (too easily for the enemy) often resulting in steamroll win/loss (especially when he is "lucky" enough to be Toptier in his Tier VIII BB) which is no fun for everyone. That is no fun. Not even for you (i hope). So please take my (and ColonelPete's) advice and only do it after you have like 2-3 normal Techtree "silverships" on the same Tier until you buy a premium. Even better if you got all three classes (you can skip/quicktest CV if you want) on that Tier. Thank you

Also there are still plenty of real "modern" pirates around! And yes those ain't using the old wooden ships.

So just "play" one Season of Ranked to Rank 1 and put the Pirate flag on all your ships that don't have a fitting one as imo that is the best and most universal fitting one without a bonus.

no it is cencored for the same reason you won't see p*rn (<--- also censored) showing up in the TV Program until late night. Some parents have a hard time explaining their kids "sexuality" at a rather young age (they usualy do it by the time they found out themselves ) and hence get triggered hard by ANY mention of sexual orientated content anywhere near their kids..... We have to be glad it isn't as bad as in the US......

I just leave this here..... All BBs have no excuse of running btw because they are all 75%+ Hp... Also look at the time... And then the scores.... yes my team didn't manage to cap once in over 8 minutes despite my help with radar on c.....
