    HSF Harekaze camo price

Crap now I have to buy it with dubloons... "Three new permanent camos based on the anime are now available! New camos for Harekaze and Musashi can be purchased in the Premium Shop or in-game for Doubloons, while a new camo for Yamato can be earned by completing the High School Fleet Collection. Speaking of which… " https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/common/animewasamistake/

    HSF in tha shop!

All hopes just chattered for me.... (from NA Site) "For every category you complete, you get a special anime-inspired flag to fly proudly into battle. Earn all 35 character portraits and score permanent camo for Yamato, a special Kure Maritime High School flag, and an achievement! " Also: "Three new permanent camos based on the anime are now available! New camos for Harekaze and Musashi can be purchased in the Premium Shop or in-game for Doubloons, while a new camo for Yamato can be earned by completing the High School Fleet Collection. Speaking of which… " https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/common/animewasamistake/ Darn.......

    HSF in tha shop!

Especially if you think about it. What stops you from modding the picture of the captain of your choice with the same picture (maybe even one of the ARP ones if you don't want to risk multiples)? Will they eventually just give out all the voiceovers to everyone owning ONE HSF ship when the collab ends just like they did with ARP? If you consider the two points above isn't all you are really buying just a generic 10 Point IJN captain? Also yes this camo is way to expensive. As far as i know Prinz Eugen special camo is only 3k dubloons. But it is the best camo they added so far by miles (this is only my personal opinion) This might be actualy the first standalone premiumcamo i will buy.....
  4. No it will cause flooding because of the beer pouring out of the holes and seeping in the ship filling it with beer. On Topic: Yes that camo is really fugly It seems like there somehow needs to be a balance in the force. For the awesome/cute/gorgeous HSF camo we also need this abomination.....

    HSF Harekaze camo price

And screwing over everyone like me that already have Akeno and Thea and leveled them rather high already. (Thea should be around 16 points now as she is my main KM cruiser captain) So the bundle is out of question for me. Not even sure if I want to drop money on a picture you only see in port (and you can manualy mod in) and (most likely) a voiceover that somehow just gets available to everyone without mod just like the ARP voiceovers when ARP collab ended.... Not a smart move from WG, but hey if you don't know what to do with your money...... P.S. Oh and some essential captains are missing like Shiretoko (the scared one on the rudder - I always renember that infamous scene in the anime with her furiously turning the wheel in Fear of an impact whenever i hard turn in my harekaze) And Isoroku of course to fit with the camo (the cat - you know the one you already could get on Asia server! )

Hold on they are actually selling captains now?

    HSF Harekaze camo price

Well for me certainly captain xp is more valuable as I almost never use free xp for shipresearch (only for the most annoying of the stock grinds) and already have Missouri and Nelson and not in THAT much of a hurry to get Musashi. On the other Hand i retrain/respec captains regularly. Also what stops you from using those flags signals anyways and get the awesome free xp and the captain xp. Renember those % bonuses don't stack perse they just add up, so you only miss out on extra 5% of the base xp as free xp. Edit: to make it clearer if you get 1.000 base xp (for easy calculating purposes) the bonus from the original HSF camo would give you a bonus (not including the other bonuses) of 50 free xp (1000x5%). The new camo would give you (again only counting the relevant bonus) 500 captain xp (1000x50%) Which one is more valuable for you is the question. For me it is 500 capxp (free capxp with 19 point captain) > 50 free xp.

    Ladies & Gentleman!!! "A.I." by Wargaming™

And never forget to buy new Dr. Pepper and Bananas if you ate/drank the last! Tuturu~ Oh and on topic: Jeah i have seen some special players failing to win coop.... And i got almost torped by plenty of bots too....
  9. Well you can still train with friends that move their targetships around..... WG has a point there that active Bots would just be coop and enabling that for TR will make Coop pointless except for getting rewarded xp and credits for it. You are only screwed if you want to train alone.... Also will the old hidden trainingroom stop to work now? Must be right?
  10. Well i am certain you would regret it much more not to get Missouri after she leaves. You can always farm the free xp again to get Musashi now....

    HSF Harekaze camo price

Crap there is a pricetag on it already? And 4k Dubloons? Oh boy. I really hope we can grind it via collection and/or some mission because i REALLY want that camo (it is cute af and will give you diabetes from just looking at it for too long). Darn if they don't go for the earnable aproach i might have to spend 4k Dubloons..... P.S. Btw +50% captain xp is actually better then +100% free xp bonus if you think about it, because free xp is only 5% of the total xp but captain xp is calculated from all the xp you get AND stacks with the general 50% bonus more than free xp does. Also I don't think we need to argue about if free xp or free captain xp is more valuable...
  12. I know what you mean. I wanted that ship for a long time too but never could excuse a purchase for that price (even with 15% off), but then i drew it out of one of the Santa boxes. Now I am at square one though and have the same problem with the eagle camo. I perfectly know what it means, because I am not the foolish and naive idiot WG seem to think most of us are. Now they can control when they offer which ship and for which price. No more -X% on all Premiumships of a certain Tier (in the Techtree) resulting in discounting a ship they don't want to discount. That ship will coincidentaly just not be available for purchase in the techtree by that time. And of course the pressure to those people that are interested in a ship but not enough yet to buy it. "Buy it now or you will have to wait for another 2 months to get the next chance". This is BS especially if you look at the removed Tier II and III premiums..... To be fair though they will still have Yubari (for now) which is a decent ship for a beginner (I can speak out of practise as this was one of the three ships I started my journey with as i bought the bundle to get into CBT). Still no reason to pull the Tier II and III ships though. Stupid move.

Tears Of The Desert Map - Rework

Much better.... Still I think there are ways to further improve it. The first thing i see is that i would make the most central island strech out way more to the south-east so that the gap in which you can spot from one cap to the other is much smaller. This would also take away some pain from the epicenter mode on this map. Also some small islands left and right (outside) of each cap would be good.

The best Range is where you can use your DPM because you can hit the other DD reliably and the shells don't fly sooo long and still can dodge the enemy torpedos. (ofc you also have to take into account when supporting cruisers have line of fire on your and the range of enemy Hydro and radar). So if we take an Fushun as example you can get as close as you can without risking him going for the ram which you can't avoid, because the Torpedos won't hit you. The closer you get the bigger your DPM advantage gets (though it won't get much better under 2-3 km) Of course you have to take the difference in hp between you and him into account too. Firing from smoke is very uneffective in any DD and should only be used when you only have cruisers or Battleships left to shoot at and those threaten to kill you if they see you or if you are smoke up for other reasons anyway. (or if you fight another DD in your KM DD and spot him via HAS, then you can save some hp for later if you can afford losing one smokecharge.)

The USN are more of a fleetsupport to smoke their allies and spot the torps, but they can hunt DDs on otherwise vacated flanks (they are still good at killing other DDs because of the DPM and it is easy to cap an empty cap). You can think of both as DD hunters but for USN nearer to allied ships and for KM nearer the caps. USN smoke and their ability to spot torpedos (good manuverability on most of them) can turn the game more often (on top of hunting DDs and capping like the KM DDs also do). Those actions like smoking up allies and spotting torpedos might not give huge rewards immediatly but think of it that way: If you win you will get an experience bonus. If you win more often due to those teamplay actions you get more xp out of it indirectly. Also if you know there are only IJN DDs on the enemy team you can safely cap if there aren't too many enemyship to support it. Because that IJN DD have no hope of beating you in a gunfight. IJN are not that much about capping (if cap is contested by enemy DD that you can't outspot by a good margin) but more as shadowing the enemys and getting in good positions for Torpedoruns on (mostly BB) players. Also with KM DDs you can safly sit in smoke if needed because the HAS will spot the torpedos for you at a rather save distance, but always sitting in smoke shouldn't become your habbit. You also seem to underestemate what a USN DD can do with that superior DPM and very fast turret traverse.

As long as you can get penetrations or even better citadels on cruisers use Ap (to know which target and where to aim to achieve that comes with experience), the german and russian excel at that due to their good penetration values on AP. If you only get shatters or overpens and can't aim for another spot on the armour to get pens again then switch to HE. Sometimes it can be better to use HE to break DDs engines to prevent them from running away or forcing a damagecontrolparty just before Torpedos hit or to make sure to finish a low hp target and not suddenly get some weird bounces or shatters. The German DDs are the best for contesting caps and bulying out enemy DDs with their Hydro. Be aware though that at short ranges of under 5 km the USN DDs have the advantage in reload and pure damage per minute. Also when you find an enemy DD trying to cap sitting in smoke with your Hydro it is partytime! The smoke is rather bad because of the low duration so it is really meant for selfdefence only. The USN DDs like it more to play the supporter and smoke up teammates. They also have the stealth to hide unlike RU, so it is neither of those playstyles you mentioned. Yes the guns on the RU DDs are slightly more dangerous to DDs but that is meaningless as you have the stealthadvantage and can either outspot them to let your team shoot them up or choose the time when and where to fight them. Those Khabas you see in videos most likely use the IFHE skill for more penetration on their HE shells to get more damage while shooting the stronger armoured decks of higher Tier BBs. You also neet to shoot the superstructure not the armourbelt. If you land enough shells there you will get higher damage numbers aswell.

No by all means as long as you get penetraions on those DDs (especially the fat broadsides DDs like Gearing) with APs keep using them! i was talking about what happens when they start to angle. (which all decent DD players would do) They also excell at punishing cruisers with their good ap penetration (just like the RUs). But on DDs as targets you find HE the better choice in a lot of instances (when playing against decent players) especially if you factor in the fires you set and modules you disable. Kongo is the first ship in the Line of the IJN BBs where it starts to get good and fun. (all low tier BBs aren't fun and WG made that so on purpose as we already have too many BBs in the game) Most players trying cruisers are offset by their low survivability. The hordes of BBs with every BB being able to knock you out in one salvo means it takes a lot of investment in skill (and time building up that skill and experience) so most just don't bother and go BBs or DDs. You can see the same effect but more extreme on carriers. Those are just too hard to play (though the problem here isn't survivabilty but the gap in skill between good and bad players). Edit: Oh and also don't take those numbers TOO seriously yet as they can be influenced by RNG and MM because the sample number is too low (under 100 battles in each ship). For example for one ship you could've gotten 4-5 more matches where an awesome friendly carried the game like a rockstar and that would influence your WR by several %. (It gets more evend out and insignificant with higher numbers so you can see better how good your influence on the win in that ship really is)
  18. oh jeah now i renember that match where the team failed to kill more than one of the 3 DDs i radared then in the radar CD i got jumped scared by an enemy missouri and instantly torped by a PA DD when i tried to leave....
  19. Jeah I was playing Missouri for the creditmission in the New year campaign @philjd. Sometimes you have to carry the team.... I also renember a match against @absolute_justice in his CV on Tears of the Desert and Epicenter (wohoo) was that the same match or which map was that on? I also renember some matches i failed hard though.....

That sounds like USN or KM DDs to me. If the problems you are having with Mahan are anything related to not hitting anything due to their gunarcs + slow shells then stop right there as this is the only thing that doesn't get vastly better with Benson, Fletcher and Gearing. You should however stop with the RU DDs. They just aren't stealthy and more like cruisers (with a kiting HE spamming kind of playstyle) especially the Khabarovsk and due to their playstyle their torpedos should only be used in VERY rare occasions. German DDs ae a good compromise of stealth, big guns with realatively good (for DDs) HE damage per shell (with their 150mm at Tier VI and VIII) and they got Hydro on top. Maybe you like it. If you are gunorientated but still like Torpedos then Akizuki in the japanese techtree might be something for you. You have to work through mostly Torpedoboats (even though WG says they are gunboats) though. For BBs I can suggest you the Japanese BBs. Those are on average the fastest and most accurate you can get for BBs (tier for Tier - there are always some exceptions like Iowa/Missouri). German BBs won't get any more accurate so maybe stop there now. The german BB thing is durability (turtlebackarmour) and Secoundaries (11,6 km range when fully fitted out). Edit: Oh and you don't need to bother with excel you can check your stats (also for individual ships) on websites like this: https://wows-numbers.com/de/player/502424785,VinSoft/

Winter mystery. A very true statement

calm down.... You did that mission long ago by now... (was it December or still november?) Easy way to check is go to your commerative flags and check if you have the one with the fish (this one was earned by that mission) you did that mission. It only popped up again (you are not alone) because of a bug, but the server still knows you already did that mission so you can't actualy progress.
  22. The time displayed in the game is false (because they would've to update the client to fix that), you actualy have time until Saturday morning 20th 6am (MET) like announced.
  23. There. You just answered it yourself. While I understand where you are coming from (though i never bought any silver premiumcamo myself - just earned them through said missions) it is the look of the camo that is also very relevant if i would want a premiumcamo or not. For example i would never buy premium camos for IJN ships because i really don't like the IJN green camo no matter the pattern (and apparently the premium camos aren't affected by the Yamamoto special ability to change the color of the camo), but I am very envious of every Kamikaze R cruising around with that fire and water camo (I didn't have enough time to grind for it at that time) There is also the timeadvantage that was pointed out by others ofc. No the Tier VII are on average just plain better than Tier VI and get the MM advantage on top. (And that is coming from someone whose absolute favourite ship is Tier VI too - the Perth) Okay you got Cleveland and Budy on your side...... but now comare: - Fiji vs Leander - KGV vs Queen Elizabeth - Gadja madha (or how it is called) vs Fushun (and Anshan) - Minsk (and Lenin) vs Gnewny - Shira vs Hatsu + Fubuki - Gneisenau vs Bayern - and as you already pointed out Algerie vs La Gal and no the ones missing here aren't really as clear cut such as Nagato vs Fuso or Colo vs New Mexico for example.

You may want to checkout this quality Thread: Be careful though. It can lead to a sinking depressing feeling if you take in too much.....
  25. Miessa3

    Finally got a supercontainer.....

unlike the smoke and spotter one that do find a happy ship using it (Perth) the DCP Mod 1 is truly useless. Why would you want more cooldown on your DCP? Everyone i know try to push that CD down by using premium ones and the captainskill and signal.... The only thing i can think of are CVs getting CV sniped but they have a better option in that slot and a +% increase on measly 5 secounds can't be worth it....
