Okay fair point. (didn't know there is so little difference as i never looked at FB) Sorry if I sounded rude. I just hate facebook with a passion and can't understand why a gamedeveloper would post stuff there exclusively (only on Forum when asked/someone opens a thread for it) concerning their game when there is a dedicated forum. (happened a lot in the past especially with special contests)

1) Still a BB only thing like stated in that very bulletpoint so where is your point? That it is rare so it's fine? Please.... we got enough of this stupid argument in the never ending detonation threads already so cut it ok? 2) ok i give you that, but last time i checked Conq isn't the only BB in the game and you also completly missed my point. My point was how they handle the BB Ap vs DD problem going like tthis: 1) there is no problem our data says so 2) (weeks to months later) ok due to ongoing complains we took an extra hard look on our data and there might be something wrong... 3) (again some time later) okay there is definatly a problem and we are working on fixing it. 4) (again some time passed ) today is like "jeah we are working on it but give us some time to not screw it up Now compare this to this current problem and my quoted patchnotes that seem to have caused this. Especially the time it took them to react and the actual fix zo arrive. Again there are plausible reasons for this, but from (uninformed) outside it looks like WG is trolling us (especially DD main players like me in this comparison) hard. Especially the patchnotes make it look like the improvements in ballistics first started with BB problems.

Well that explains why i scored two citadels yesterday with my french cruiser on a Tirpitz from medium range... Why not post stuff like this on the forums first (you can still do it on FB too). You know the dedicated forums that are partily meant for exactly that not some third party social media website that may get more views but over 50% won't care? Why did I knew this was going to happen? If it affects BBs in a bad way it gets fixed like yesterday not even waiting for the next patch but with a hotfix. You are taking your time to avoid stuff like the current situation to happen while making a controled and intended change and it is easier to wipe out a bug which you aparantly already located the souce of than actualy changing a core game meachnic, but when you look at it from outside it already looks like you are either heavily trolling us (non BB below average players) or are very .....clumsy.... in your communication process. (on Facebook lol ) And that is not talking for things that happened like past week but for several months now....

Try the integrety check. You start the laucher (not the game) like normal and go to settings (the tiny cockwheel)-> service-> integrity check After you did run that disable all your mods for now. Got to your WoWS folder, then to RES, then to the folder named after the current update number and either delete the folder or just rename or move it if you want to keep the modconfiguration. Then try running the game. If the problem still occurs try the bothersome way mentioned above the full reinstall. First make sure you find your old installation file and save it somewhere safe. (because you don't want to bother with the gamecenter beta trust me) Then delete your whole wows folder. Then deinstall the game over the normal windows software tool. Then find your old installation file you saved earlier and run it. Then watch while your PC downloads the whole game again after the new installation. If the problem still persists it is very likely on your end because my game is running fine.

On topic: No as far as I can tell (they are not that long in the game afterall) they are resonably balanced. No the armour is nothing they can be proud of.... maybe your aiming was off? No. Tier IV is (on purpose) the least fun (because not accurate) for me. Tier V or VI (or VII for US if spped is the problem) is were the real deal starts. Especially for the IJN BBs as you just can't compare Myogi with a fully upgraded Kongo. No. If you watched some streams on twitch with clans playing clan battles you will realize everyone is using Montana. Not because it is op, but because it is the best at what it does which is sinking cruisers from longer ranges. As far as I can tell Tier X BBs are mostly (with the exception being the stupidly op UK BB) very well balanced. Everyone brings their special something. KM is best at brawling from midranges. USN is very good at killing cruisers from range. (very accurate - not too much penetration to overpen) The French brings heavy frontal firepower (many guns in frontal turrets) can't say much about them though as they are fairly new. The IJN may be the last one that can actualy be punished for mistakes (citadel) rather easily but Yammy has the biggest guns in the game that are the only ones that can punch throuhg the nose of every BB due to overmatch. RN is just op with too much fire chance coupled with still decent damage on their HE which makes AP almost irrelevant if you can't citadel something because they angle. On top of that it also gets more concealment than some cruisers like Moskva can dream of, a very hard (yes i know not impossible wilkatis) to hit citadel and a ridiculous heal. Just go for the line that attracts you the most and if in doubt test all the Tier VI or at least Tier V.

It's an rather average show which feels very rushed at the end, but maybe you like it anyways. I would recommend rather reading the Manga though.

Ya like i said in the battle i suck in CVs..... My Saipan is actualy not THAT new, I am just holding off to use it (and Kaga) until i someday get to sit down and practise more how to do it right. That day I rolled out saipan to get the planekills for the Aigle mission and no even though I aimed for planekills i already understand enough of CVs to NOT run 301 ;D

That is your problem then. But it is a non-issue if you realize you will actualy get more out of it if you pick one of the other three containers that fits your needs best. The two extra stuff you get with every container is worth way more than the eventual additional Supercontainer you get due to the higher chance on the try your luck ones. The TYL is basically only for the occasions you feel lucky and don't care about the 2 extra stuff you give up for it. Like in any gamble you have to accept it if you lose. Well but doesn't that only fix the problem for you? what about all those that "feel loosing out" on the third container already? (because they never have the time to invest more than the 12,5k xp for the secound container) Wouldn't they feel even more "loosing out" if you add more containers? Again this is all about self entitlement. For me usualy I take what I get and MAY play another match or two if I see I just need some 1k more xp for the next container which is exactly what this system is aiming for. (Usualy i don't care though as I am tired and just go to bed without having hard feelings about those 15 signals i didn't get) Yes Supercontainers are nice but you have to take them for what they are - a sweet enticer - a nice bonus - nothing more. I don't know about you but I can clearly renember the situation before the implementation of containers. Boring 3 daily missions with meager awards that doesn't even always fit your fleet. (a CV mission but having no CV) Renembering that I'd take this approach any day thank you. I feel the containers are mostly fine like they are. The best thing they may could add are tokens if you draw special modules or special (dragon) signals out of your SC so you can choose which one you actualy want. Could be hard to code though. Edit: You are not supposed to have (only) fun collecting containers. You are supposed to have fun playing the game. (and getting containers on top of it for doing that)

That won't happen due to performance problems and like wilkatis said this game is also the wrong place to search for realism. You also have to consider that this game is still under the radar for USK and co for age restriction. I bet WG also wants to avoid to get their attention by adding Humans implying to die a horrible death by either incoming fire or sinking with the ship....

The problem is this would only help against those rare lucky citas some players get through dispersion even though they aimed badly. True it is happening quiet a lot but is it worth it to give players that actualy know how to aim even more broken BBs? If they would do this they would have to nerf damage and shell flighttime for BBs and buff agility of the other classes a lot.

Welcome back. What did seduce you to come back to this game? (just curious) You would be surprised how many threads that are exactly like yours were opened in the past few months. Just use the searchfunktion there are some very helpful and good reads among them. The Teamdamagesystem didn't change as far as I know and you WILL do damage to yourself if you overdo it (turn into a pinkie - and reflecting damage including DoT like fires and floods). For your question about RN i would idealy say none of them. RN CLs are very hard to play and demand enhanced skill to not completly suck but are very rewarding if you can use them correct. (not that "beginner" friendly) RN BBs are the complete opposite. While bafflingly easy to play (it is very hard to punish you for your mistakes in those) and rewarding even for low skill investment (just load HE and you're good if you hit somewhat consistently) they teach bad habbits especially if you plan on playing cruisers or IJN BBs later down your carreer. But that is your call. Edit: also nothing stops you from reading all those patchnotes..... they are all there just search for it.

The Difference is the amount of players playing lowtier. I can guarantee you even in WoWS those players exist that prefer low tiers (i am one of them like i said above) but those aren't enough to sustain consistent MM that lets you play whenever you want. I am pretty sure if WoW were free to play and wouldn't have enough players populating the lowtiers then Blizzard would do almost exactly the same as WG. (give "incentives" to play lowtier rather then levelcap) Right now it is a win situation for the fans of lowtier (actualy players already owning Tier X SHOULD play better than the ones htat don't) and a "lose" for the fans of hightier gameplay a WG had to push them in the way they needed. Your version would actualy be a lose-lose situation. The lowertiernumbers would go down and screw over lowtierfans that then wait in queue forever and hightierfans as all (even the ones without premium camo) the "bad" players can play hightier indefinatly which they shouldn't be able too normaly because they just don't earn enough credits with their "performance" (currently)

Yes and said progression is the problem. To take you RPG example: If you got to the highest level in a RPG would you go back to a lower Level Charakter if the endgame doesn't turn out to be boringly stale but actualy is fun to you? Everyone would play Hightier and hightier only. (because hurrdurr bigguns + always toptier) Actualy the only reasons i know player have for not doing that atm is that Hightier isn't fun for them due to being too stale and boring (see above) or they actualy DO like certain midtierships. (For me it is the Perth - If I want a break from all those missions that can fell like a chore sometimes she is the goto ship for me) The very fact that people COULD do it is what lead to this modell. Even those that actualy like to play midtiers will then leave soon as the players actualy grinding new lines won't be enough to support consistent short queuetimes. That is also why i think Tier X premiumcamo was a stupid and shortsighted idea from WG.....
