    Harekaze?

    The Harekaze is the perfect premium and imo how premiums should be. - not (much) stronger than the silver ship(s) - a decent trainer for ALL captains in the IJN DD lines (even a own dedicated captain just for Harekaze with the c-hull) - very competetive and not just some dustcollector - interesting as it offers 3 playstyles in one premiumship. Something (sadly) none other Premium in WoWS can do. C-Hull is a noobtrap though that you only pick once to "try out" that option and quickly revert to A-hull for torpedoline captains and B-hull for Aki captains.
  2. But Yamato is supposed to be played as "standing" fortress that threatens large key areas and punches through the nose of ever BB that dares to come too close. A rather static gameplay so what do you need turret traverse for? Your guns are supposed to be facing mostly in one rough direction anyways. Enough to aim before the guns from the last salvo are reloaded at least. I feel the modules and captainperks give enough turret traverse if you really want it. It is a balancing factor for those large 460 mm guns and so it is supposed to be "bad".
  3. If the team fails on you it doesn't have anything to do how the ship performs does it? I mean you are in the top 3 in a lot and upper half (by xp) in most of those games right? p.s. no
  4. The Poll is unclear about what you mean with "finished". Also if you mean "finished" as in unlocked and completed the last mission there is an option missing in the poll for "all finished but still busy cleaning up" ie completing with honors. So i didn't vote. I have the Shinonome, Yamamoto and the 7 Days Premium (completed all permanent campaigns) and am still busy doing some hard or simply skipped missions like do 3 Clearsky in Tier VIII+. (should be easier now after next patch though)

    part 1 mission 1: 10 wins -> play 10-11 Coop games part 1 mission 2: 2 Mil Credits -> play 2-3 Missouri games in random part 1 mission 3: 1000 ribbons -> play 2-3 Khaba games in random A Supercontainer! nice! part 2 mission 1: 5 wins -> play 5 Coop Battles part 2 mission 2: 65k dmg + win -> play 1 Coop battle in Hightier BB part 2 mission 3: 20k (xp?) -> go back to some grinding to your non elite ships until finished part 2 mission 4: sink 2 ships + win -> play one coop match in Kamikaze or any gun DD Easy. Better keep that ship to not spoil the fun of future Supercontainers. (when I eventualy get a ship)
  6. No that spot belongs to the Conqueror! Yammy is fine as she is. The last fortress for players interested in a Tier X BB that properly needs/scales with skill. (Jeah don't look at my stats I am bad at BB gameplay... but I love her for it!)
  7. well those rewards seem kind of low... I am looking forward to playing ONE Ranked Battle and get awarded with almost twice as many of those flags (35) even if I lose because I will reach Rank 13 due to the extra stars for my Rank 1 in last season. Also kind of funny and insulting that the rather weak CA (which is why it got buffed recently) gets the hardest mission which inclines that the CA job should get them the highest XP because the other missions are class themed too. The irony!
  8. That is nothing new. It took them some time to include pictures of the camos you are buying or of the special flag you may buy the bundle for too. On topic: Damn now I actualy have to wrestle with myself if I go for the beautiful Zao camo or not for the time i eventualy get to her.
  9. Clanbattles only work because the MM is based on the clanrating. Basically the division is rated as one not the individual players like it would be the case in randoms. And still it ends in a faceroll if one good clan fields the 2. or 3. reserveteam because all the other already have the flag while the other good clan is still fielding their best mainteam...... Oh with skillbased MM you can easily reach the bad players! Just delibertly play like a bot really bad for several days and you are in for a clubbing ride! Still doesn't fix the problem though of either high queuetimes due to being to restrictive or being pointless due to being less restrictive. Also it has to be class dependant as you don't want me in one of my rare (really bad) CV games rated like I was playing DD. Also there are differences in class too like IJN DD vs RU DD or IJN CA vs RN CL or IJN CV vs USN CV etc...... On Topic: Another skillbased MM thread. You seem like a good player so it must be a case of you not realizing the strain on the waiting times or the whole pointlessness of the system if you reduce the restricitons on a managable level. Either way the typical "didn't thought it through" like always in these Threads pro skill based MM. Apart from the points @El2aZeR already pointed out there is still more comming: - if you do skill based MM for a long sustained time the extremes (like you seem to be one of in the "good" direction) get drawn more to the norm. Meaning if you do this for long enough you will see all your so much hated potatoplayers again apart from the real extreme other side of the spectrum. Then what? - like said above what to do about deliberate drops in rating to club seals? You can't have an automated system that will know if you are just having a bad streak, let someone else play or if you play bad on purpose.... If enough people are doing this (because they get bored to waiting in queue) it defeats the whole point of the system right? - which indicator will you use? From all the ones you mentioned the class dependant still works most, but then what to do about class differences like IJN DDs vs RU DDs etc? Do you want to do a "per ship" rating? But then the player needs enough games in that ship for the rating to be reliable right? - what about new players? Stick them with the rock bottom noobs where they learn nothing? Stick them with the average so they get farmed like usual? Stick them with the good if they dared to have a lucky good day while playing their new ship (see above)? tldr: Won't work! P.S. Also no 2 years is already rather old in the gaming industry. Just think of Evolve for example. That game was long dead by then. Or CoD... how many people do you think still play Black Ops 3? It is even rather old if you only count the F2P/Online games that bring new content (for the same game) regularly to keep it fresh.

    Well I just get annoyed by people calling me a pessimist only because the 2. option is far more practical and likely to happen IRL. (except if you don't have enough to fill the glass completly) Although if you use your 2. case of 10 people randomly walking in a room and getting questioned about that glass, then I would count as an optimist as I would expect that this glass was only filled half on purpose for this test and not actualy used by the staff so I would naturally answer the glass is half full.....

    People just don't get that there is a neutral option even for that popular case. You just decide the term on the tendency or simpler last action. If you fill up the glass and stop halfway because you don't want to fill it anymore than the glass is half FULL because the last action was FILLING the glass. If you completly fill up the glass and then drink half of it the glass is half EMPTY because the last action was reducing the amount of liquid in the glass. I very much like the aproach of WG going for the endgame for competetive and actively shut out those players that just buy premiums of the relevant Tier without having even a silvership in same Tier. Let's just hope they don't do rentals .

    Actualy that is working as intended. 4 Players is the minimum of players for trying to take on the other operation as an incomplete team. (been there and done it with fellow Scrubs and Operation Narai before it got removed) The fact that everyone disconnects is a weird bug though.

    No as that would mean everyone could see that even if your ship is unspotted. Just imagine a DD that stealthcaps or block cap just outside detection range. When he by mistakes reverses a bit and his Aft kisses and moves a buoy then you can expect blindfire incoming from the smart players of the enemyteam.... Like said above just dodge if it is such an issue for you... Their only purpose is to mark the cap in the 3D invorment. WG could also just paint the water/islands in the cap green/white/red and remove the buoys. Is that what you want?

    that's what i think (and hope) is meant like I said above: That would make sense though and you never know when WG is involved..... Also you have to wonder why would they sell you missions (that are limited in time you can do them if the recent xp missions you got in bundles are comparable mind you) for a ship that you very likely don't own as it doesn't seem to come with the bundle like you noticed......

    let's just hope "mission token 10 times" means something like 10 shots of missions that give xp like we had with recent bundles already. Edit: .....or they can use the bought Tier X only 10 times per package!

    Jeah.... I will quit as soon as I reach Rank 1 again this season. I am really interested in seeing some data. Like how many Super League games were actualy played per season and if WG is happy about that number.

    #Me2 (earning the USS Black) Congratz on repoducing! That is indeed a solid reason to limit/stop playing. I will go for the camos though to club clueless hightier noobs even more efficient in my Black. #Me2again That's why I hoped they do Tier VII again to get an easy walk in the park to my USS Black. But it is fine like that too, when I need to actualy earn it then it feels more rewarding.

    Well at least it is something. It is definatly a step up to their previous stance of: "We can't prevent that many players from playing Clan Battles". Which ment even letting in those players with one game overall in their (bought upon registering) Tirpitz who either has 6 likeminded friends or could talk their way in to some clan. Why final season? You don't want the camos on the Flint+Black? Or do you get them and aren't interested in any new prices?

    So if it were an option to never give newer players without a Tier X Ship in port a Rank #1 Badge.... why didn't we do this from the start? It also silence all "p2w premium" arguments. I am all for it but you have to wonder why they only do it now. Hope WG doesn't give out rental ships for Ranked now too. Not sure about lowering the last save rank to 10 though. I would've rather let them play Tier X from Rank 12 on.. Now I regret not grinding the Z-52 faster though.

    First I would like to know your source. I checked EU and NA english section and couldn't find any patchnotes. Did they remove it again? On Topic As far as I know the delayed render of the ships was either due to technical limitations or inteded to give the target time to hit the rudder or both. THis means it is likely that this is actualy a lag for the minimap icon which was drawn by the server instantly until now.

    When it comes to HSF i seriously doubt that. They will at least do a "now or never" again when the collab ends just like with the ARP, especially now because this stuff actualy earns money.
