you've obviously never farmed credits/fxp in them, there are several which give great returns, if you put on the right signals you can make silly amounts of credits/fxp, narai is probably the most popular at the moment, but cherry blossom and dynamo were great too (hopefully they are returning soon, as raptor rescue is next patch)

completed the last directive last night and got the Benham and dubloons compo for the Hill, yes i bought a couple of crates because i wont finish the 48 daily missions, but hey it's a nice T9 DD...

you would be correct in what you say, IF you had stayed at the lower tiers learning the game, BUT you bought an Indianapolis, a Graf Spee, a Texas and a Huanghe (ok you might have got on or two from a new player code, but not all of them) you only get protected MM for the first few tiers, stay there and learn the game...
