Sorry Leo this is in no way Gambling.. not in this case.. Its exactly what it says on the tin its an Auction.. Gambling is when you commit something to get something bigger back.. if you lose you do not get what you committed back. An auction is when you commit something to get something in return. if you do not give the winning bid you lose nothing.. Those that took part committed something (credits) to get something back (Coal) those that got the coal handed over the credits.. those that did not win the bid did not pay/lose anything. The Only reason WG took the bid out of your account when you placed it is to make sure you did not spend the funds between the bid and the closure of the bid process.. Could it have been worded better so it was clear it was 5k winners across all servers yes.. but no one that did not give a successful bid lost anything so Gambling it is not.

He is just saying this is the whole reason this is wrong.. you were super lucky and got her from a free loot box. many others have spent 20k 40 k or even 60k dubloons unlocking loot boxes b4 they got the ship

Pretty pissed that they (WG) have started to hide a ship behind loot boxes as the only way to get Agincourt... As others have said its Gambling. Yes the boxes may contain stuff Like dragon flags that are worth the doubloons but I don't want any of these. I do however want the Ship.. NOT GONNA GAMBLE WITH DUBLOONS. after I complete the German DD collection I will spend any more tokens i get on the Loot boxes and see if I get her that way

A new tactic to make destroyer gameplay harder for us DD players mate.... Lets face it I think DD gameplay is the only mechanic that has got consistently harder since launch of the game Make the new radar ship a DD and we can't complain..... ship looks interesting but as you say .. Please No radar

I would hope you bought the KIDD because you wanted the ship not just to get the captain that has no bonuses....

@22cm you play the Kidd to get a 10 point captain as opposed to a 6 point.. and with the KIDD its SOOOOOOOO much easier as well.. Playing KIDD (yes mostly in ranked) i got the 10 point commander and the other mission for the 6 point one I just got past the first stage. what I'm saying is in my opinion if you have the Kidd your mission is easier for a higher point commander. to upgrade from a 6 to 10 point commander is about 145k Commander or free XP

Trust me if i had that much influence.. AAAALLLLLLLL DD's in game would be much stronger.

To Add to @YabbaCoe comment WG did a lot of work to improve autopilot for the better.. (still need some work) building in to it an Island avoidance action... Back in the day, you could order autopilot to hit an island.. at the community's request they implemented the improvement that when you set an autopilot that would hit an island the AI auto corrects your planned route to Drastically reduces the chance of a collition. @citaDELer if you ram your CV up against an island to hide... well thats your problem if you have difficulty maneuvering when you need to.... Oldest trick in the world on the high seas.... Give you self SEA ROOM to maneuver As for steering ship and flying planes at the same time... working as intended.. Im pretty sure it was even mentioned in the changes of CV that this was added as a balancing feture spotting icon issue.... not noticed that but i don't play CV that much
