Ships are Balanced for Random. Not Ranked.. Ranked is about Clans.. There are the best ships for Clan in every class YueYang is agreed to be the best DD Same as Montana is by far the most popular BB.. Cruisers are more open as teams tend to have at least 4 or 5 Cruisers Multiple Cruisers have there role to play. In order for you clan to succeed you profile your players.. I'm one of the SCRUB Clan DD players. My role in the Clan is to have Every TOP Tier DD so if called on to bring a DD I can Field any one our Field (Sea) Commander Requests. What I'm saying is there is always going to be a BEST DD/BB to bring there is nothing WG can do about that.. The roles of DDs differ Greatly in Random.. But the roles of DDs in clan is very fine.. I have gone through many a game not shooting my guns once.. and even my ability to torp plays second fiddle to capping and spotting.

Pretty sure there was an announcement a while back there will be no Prem CVs on sale in shop or game till after the rework of CVs so I would guess NO sorry

This is wrong and worth complaining about.. But being able to buy some silly expensive crates. No this is not a ripoff its a choice.. that gives a player no benefit in game.

Ops missions change. There are ones for tier VI VII and VIII

@ajb13 LOL your a noob mate.. We the SCRUBS CLAN Failed the mission in a Way only SCRUBS can... We did the mission so fast we had killed all the ships were heading for 5 stars.......... The AI DDs and CV's destroyed the last Airbase before we had had chance to shoot down 50 aircraft (did not even launch 50 aircraft for use to kill)

Haida only 9 . GM 93 games But Haida is a lovely ship. Though not easy to play. You need to be an experienced DD player. (I think I qualify for that )

I love her as well but just looking at my stats. 70% winrate and 48k average damage. My PR rating is only 1475 Rating Good (this tells you how good some people are doing in her). I do so much better in her than just about every other tier 7 DD Funny thing My Haida 55.56% winrate and 45.2 K average damage i have a PR rating of 3225.. that's like SUPER UNICUM

Mark 7 torps being buffed to 7km (Tier 7) and the tier 8 8KM torps are usable. The GM at some point will be getting a NERF i recon she needs it.

Point one completely agree I love my Gallant and not just because she is RN Point two Stop it. Again completely agree... Kept he Danae.( 17 point commander specked for Gallant) Leander lovely little ship.. Emerald NOT Point three Here i disagree... (thats better ). DDs have roles they need to perform in the battle. for these roles they need to be able to Deploy or redeploy fast. I get the feeling wargaming realised few would use the hydro on RN DD as the speed boost is just more usefull. (see previous RN DD threads). I get the impression this just Wargaming FORCING players to play them the way wargaming want them to play tho boats. I feel we should still have the choice. Example was the Grozavoi at tier X before the buff we had to chose Def AA or speed boost and I often went with Def AA but then the Grozavoi at 39.5knots speed never really has an issue at redeploying

Apparantly Dev notes suggest they are removing Speed boost as a an Option

Gallant will have Speed boost. something RN DDs look as if they will lose.... OMG what are WG thinking. The Hydro is very short range so pretty much defensive only. The lack of speed boost on DDs that are already often slower than there counterparts... again WG what are you thinking. Why can the RN ships not just be all round good eggs.. why do all the tech lines have to have silly gimmicks

Ive got close to 1 million free XP for any ship.. Was hoping praying that for something other than another BB.......

Almost no one with any brain ever said she was OP.. Many however said she was Broken.. And i was one.... with these Uber Deep water torps she is useless against 1/3 of the ships she can meet. CA/CL... and as she is no gunboat she is also at a big disadvantage against most DD's she meets at least the normal IJN DD can use there torps in a knife fight with another DD. This is what makes her Broken.. she can do very little against 1/2 to 2/3 of the ships in the game. Ive played 74in game DDs this one will not be getting a berth in my Port. Just to many of the jobs I have as a DD commander cant be done with this boat.

Point 1. Static smoke is a much bigger magnet and with crawling smoke you are already moving so have better acceleration to avoid those torps. Point 2. Yes great guns. and at 18 seconds she is only beaten in turret rotation by the USN tier 7 DD.. so really the turret rotation is more than adequate Point 3. can be a challenge but not so bad if you have played RN Cruisers. Last Point. You score an average of 24,259.76 not 50K lets not exaggerate

But GM is as OP as hell and needs a Nerf. Haida is not OP but she is good.. Ive only 6 games in her. but i just cant get a bad game.... I find the guns much more comfortable to use than the Benson

Ill check when I get home but I think you can buy the camo in game for 2000Dubloons. As for the ship.. Yes she is a Destroyer players DD. If you play a lot of DDs (and i've played 74 in game) and you like gunboat DDs she is a dream. You need at least a 10 point commander(but that's the same with any DD above tier 6). But I play with a 13 point at the moment (10 points used) and I do ok. I use the same commander in the Haida as I do the Perth and he works well in both AS for Tech lines..It would not surprise me at all if we see a commonwealth DD and CA line at some point in the future. The Australians and the Canadians had some very interesting takes on standard British Destroyers.. Like a Tribal with 4x2 102mm DP guns (X turret on the Haida) Ive only had a few games in her. People are saying she is hard to play... IM not seeing that at all. but maybe you need to be an above average and Experienced DD player to get the most out of her.

That's my only issue with Creeping smoke..... ALL ships that have it can reverse faster than there smoke... Its a pain. I agree I'm having a barrel of fun in this DD.. Gunboat per Excellence..... Kraken last night (for a lose ) but 4 DDs per team.. ALL 4 enemy DDs fell to my guns..

How many point commander do you have In her? Tier 7 DD you need AT LEAST a 10 point commander in her.

Gagjah Mada is a bad ship to compare with though.... Gadjah Mada is as OP has hell and Needs to be hit by the Nerf Hamer. I love her as well. She is my ship of choice to complete missions but God she is way too strong.

She flies the RN Wight ensign. Not the Maple leaf. The Camo is just camo and is not even teh default. the maple camo is the national flag that did exist. not the navy one
