The AA armaments on most of the tier IX and X ships in game were designed to combat subsonic Jest like the sea vampire. Jets were removed for game balance yes.. but not because they were too fast... The progress from Pre war Biplanes to post war jets in 6 tiers was almost impossible to balance.. Early game it was common for the top planes on a tier 6 CV to be be way outclassed by the stock planes on the next CV by reducing the leap of the Aircraft from tier to tier it made balancing the AA of ships much easier.. Having jets at tier X was fine but . when they met tier VIII ships they were just too powerful. And again go look at The below Spoiler (hidden content).. all are post war Radar controlled AAA more than capable of taking out early Jets like the sea Vampire I will correct you there Douglas Dauntless could carry 2100lbs of bombs so 2 times that of the sea Vampire.

OMG..... do you have no understanding... The radar controlled 40mm bofors on HMS Belfast was designed to tackle.. or the guns on the High tier RU DDs An a Sea vampire...... Rally 8 3inch rockets or 2 500lb bombs... Sea Vampire was hardly a threat to most surface warships.... And old chap.. Jets were in game they were removed

You are showing a Complete and utter miss understanding of naval warfare... Navy warfare is ALL about capturing an area ALL... That is what naval battles are ALL about.. A naval battle is about forcing the enemy force to leave an area of Sea/ocean leaving it in the control of the victor. With the rare Exception of battles like the Battle of Tsushima in most fleet naval engagement in history the large portions of the losing fleet survived.. God even the Battle of Trafalger 41 French/Spanish ships joined the battle 21 were captured 1 was sunk... 19 made it home. Jutland a perfect example of a battle to take area... Germany clearly won the engagement.. BUT THEY LOST THE BATTLE. Before the battle the RN controlled the North sea. After the battle the grip and control the RN had of the north sea was stronger not weaker. This is what shocked the Royal navy in both world wars (more so the second) Germany realising it could not control the sea's in the traditional sense used unrestricted Submarine warfare. something that was not about controlling the seas like traditional naval warfare but about causing as much economical difficulty and hardship as possible to the nation or nations that did control the seas

Ok nuff said... Bismark was Destroyed by the Royal Navy...BUT NOT SUNK. the torpedo hits did sink the Bismark... The Bismark was sunk by her own Scuttling charges and the sea [edited] being opened. As for cost you cant look at a Squadron of Torpedo Bombers or dive bombers without taking in to account the cost of the CV that carried them. Yes BBs were proven Extremely Vulnerable to aircraft and that made the CV the core of the fleet and not the BB. The thing that killed the BB was the cost to build/crew and run and more importantly they were not needed. What nations at the end of WW2 had BBs USA/UK and France all nations that were unlikely to ever go to war.. When all the nations you may meet in battle have is Cruisers you dont need a battleship. Also the main thing that killed the BB or any large surface unit was the Hunter killer submarine.. when submarines developed the ability to travel the same speed as a surface ship underwater Big ships like BBs were just to vulnerable'.

MMMM Sorry but unless im mistaken the XP reward for Successfully Capping is Substantial. Get a few complete and or assisted caps you are pretty much assured a place in the Higher end of the team results. OK @Dirty_Dunc.. I play a Lot of tier 4-7 as well as the ships are almost all historical (Not many paper ships) and there the ships i grew up reading about and making models of... (and as a DD main no radar.. ) Also i think the volume of experienced players on a team in the low tiers if much higher than lets say tanks so its not so much an issue But I must admit posting about 4 CV matches as seal Clubbing when you play so many low tier matches and to be honest not many CV players play these low tiers any more since they removed the Manual Drops on said low tier CVs

And DD V DD would often end in a draw as they would not find each other........ sorry Terrible idea

First thanks for giving her more of a go.... BUT the game count in randomes on her has also increased dramatically almost 16k games played 11 tier 6 BB PEF is 3rd on Winrate 2nd in Average frags 4th on damage 1st on XP 1st on AA kills 3rd on Kills/Deaths Her shells seem pretty effective ok she may be boring but she certainly does not seem to be weak .. PS.. I do agree dont buy her... get her for free in the mission..

was also hoping for some in game Prem ship discounts.... but come on we cant complain there has been loads of Stuff thrown at us this year. coal/Steel very good 1 year prem offer and tier 6 ship and other stuff

ok maybe i miss read you.. We do give our feed back and as i say i cant say what mine was... Im just saying give her a bit more of a chance.... Wargaming have done knee jerk reactions before.. I did not ST the Cossack.. and only unlocked her after the buff.. She was buffed because of performance and complaints from those that bought her.. In my opinion Cossack know is to powerful.

I cant divulge my opinion of the ship in super testing as i am under an NDA. But i have played this ship in 30+ games.... I am saying an opinion in after 1 match is worthless. as for you comment i put in bold... Mmmm insults to people that dont agree with you... WELL PLAYED SIR WELL PLAYED.

all im saying is YOU HAVE HAD 1 GAME.... I Supper test these ships if we super testers came to a conclusion about a ship after 1 match... Just imagen the ships we would get. Example.. my first match in Leander i got wiped out in 2 mins did nothing.. hated the ship.. she is one of my favourite ships to play. go play some more games and then come back and give you opinion. Then i will give you conclusions some value. You invested the money.. now invest some time.

and Im saying you need more than one game in a ship to come to any conclusion... stat wise she is not doing so bad. at least play 5 or 10 games before you come to the forum and spout off about the ship.

Maybe play more than one game before you come to that conlcution.. You make the point she is not a brawler.... no surprise there she is a battle-cruiser.. what would you expect... she is fast.. she is a support gun platform that can re deploy when needed to other flanks. And any way I will say again.... all your own fault wait for the reviews next time.... getting a ship on day one where there are no reasant reviews on you tube is just silly. She is not that bad a ship to play.

You have played 1 god dam game in her... and she is you best performing tier 6 BB damage wise.... Sorry Way to early to come to such conclusions. She is not that bad. Maybe wait for some reviews next time.... Prem douse not mean she must be super powerfull

very good point the prem time makes a big difference... (But i still have 330 day left) camos i have over about 1800 that give at least 100% +XP and over 1000 that give other XP values. if there was a package for the mission and the mission alone for 15 or even 2ß Euro i may have been tempted.. But i just dont want or need the extra stuff..

So 15 Euro of crates +8euro of Doubloons + 4000 steal and a bunch of Camo/flags the flags are not even the Dragon Economic flags.. that means 4000 steal is worth about 27 euro... 4/5 the cost of the Atlanata.. Except if you buy this mission and the end you are 1/3 of the way to the Flint.... or 12/15 the cost of Atlanta for 5/15 the cost of the flint. If you need Doubloons the package is more attractive but I have almost 30k and not much content in game to buy that i don't already have Sorry Wargaming I love you and your games but this is WAY to steep for me

I agreee this is way to much for 4000 steel... ok there are other rewards in the campaign... sorry wargaming but i would want a complete rundown of the rewards before i spend that sort of money, and that run down is not in the shop... But from what i can see that campaign is EXTREMELY over priced... god Atlanta cost 34€ Flint costs what just under 12K steal.... this campain is for 4k steal so flint costs (you you could buy multiple campaigns) 150€ like really Wargaming REALLY
