Im pretty sure that Beam (proper name Boom) is for when they are operating the plane.. you swing that out and the plane taxis and attaches itself to the beam.. then its held steady till you want to lift it inboard with the crane. Its not used that often and mainly in port to attach the ships boats so you did not have to ship them every time you wanted to use them.. si its really not an issue

She is still one of the most played ship ships game.. and she has made a huge resurgence in CLAN Battles second only to Gearing as most played DD in Clan battles...

Shima is free... Somers has not even arrived on the live server yet for the supertesters.. Its a bit early to call yet... she may well change a lot after we take her out in some randoms. Somers will be Steel/Free XP or coal i would guess. Which will limit her availability

Trust me they are great fun.. but not as your first DD tech line... I am a DD main and have played just about every DD in the game extensively.

Stick at it the game is fun.. (MOST OF THE TIME) You just need to learn how the game works... Also stay down in tier 4 for a bit longer you don't have to rush to tier X i think i had about 5k games before i got my first tier X ship. tier 4 has protected match making you will only see tier 5 ships at the most. you can go to tier 5 as they is some good ships there but you will see a lot of tier 7. Also at lower tiers you will not hemarige credits

Mate for you own health i suggest you stop playing Russian DDs, They are by a long way the hardest DD line to play well in.. I would suggest the American/German as a good DD tech tree's to start with. Japanies are also good.. but you are very Vulnerable to other DDs and can be a little frustrating. Go back to Russian DD's when you have learned DD game play.. then they are very rewarding and fun

Rule number one of the Khaba. forget EVERYTHING you learned playing DD's. You have to play her completely different to all the other DD's. I was really really crap in her as well till i realised this. Know im starting to get better in her.

When i go up a tech tree line i Generally keep 2 commanders and skip a ship each time.. That way by the time i get to IX i have 2 17+ point Commanders. I actually prefer Jutland to Daring. I do this not least as im somewhat of a horder when it comes to DD's I have just about every DD in the game still in port.

All Navys would throw food waste over the side up until the 60's or 70's. if the shoot was to remove liquid waste from the deck it would be at deck leval.. you will notice this shoot is about waist height above deck level

@Allied_Winter @Glig69 Im afraid not.. Its a gash waste shoot.. or Galley(kitchen)/Messdeck waste shoot for solid food waste. You will notice they are most prevalent on ships with Casemate guns. Its to stop the food waste from fouling the casemate gun mountings.. some Warships would have them to stop the sides of the ship getting dirty. Its only in the last couple of decades that large ships stopped dumping food waste over the side Bellow you can see the hinged hatch on the top of the shoot. this is from HMS Iron Duke another view of the shoot on the Warspite the much smaller shoot coming form the Hull (not the main deck) that is a bilge pump shoot or heads (toilet) waste output (im not sure which)

As probably one of the most prolific DD players on the server. I only agree with a few points ... I think maybe 1 CV a side would be better and there maybe should be a cool down (much like at the start of match) to how long it is to launch the same TYPE of attack squadron after recovery of planes. Are DDs harder to play know.. Yes... But BBcrybabies have been making it get harder since open beta.. DD players adapt and overcome. @Besserwisser CV's are not easy to do well in go try them post Rework As for DD's they can still work and work well

The Brit CV is not dead.. she is still being balanced... I have her in port at the moment.. Be happy WG want to get her balanced before release. So we dont have a repeat of the Graff Zeppelin fiasko .

Wrong... the mission was available over 31 days.. each day 2 mission chains First Mission chain : – Earn 250 base XP – Earn 500 base XP – Earn 1000 base XP Second Mission chain : – Earn 1100 base XP – Earn 1200 base XP – Earn 1300 base XP You had to complete 40 missions out of 62 to get the ship. It was not difficult to do in randoms

Come on that is somewhat disingenuous.. You could get the Vanguard alone and the Dreadnought for free in a piss easy in-game mission chain. I think Lenin release is more to do with Victory Day.

Ok war time example HMS Glowworm rammed the German cruiser hipper Glowworm fully loaded 1.9k tonnes Hipper 18.5k tonnes so Hipper was much bigger stronger and better armored than the little DD and Glowworm was heavily damaged . Hipper lost 40 M of Armour plate and had miner flooding (500 tonnes of water and a 4 degree list). Glowworm sank almost immediately . Hipper was struck by a ship 10 times smaller and much less heavily armored.. Know think of 2 ships of of around 30k tonnage striking each other both with similar weight and Armour

its not pay its an incentive... Pill i do it probably not i have all tier VI prems apart from Arizona and that Russian (EX German CA). I don't really want them.. but for someone with limited funds
