    No! Shooting guns increase the distance you can be spotted dramaticley. (gun flashes!) not really a flash when you launch a torpedo as mechanism to launch it is ether compressed air or a small Explosive charge

    RN Spearfish is one of the fastest Torps in the world and has a speed of 150km/h not sure where u get 500km hour from. I think you are thinking of SUB launched cruise Missiles, Launched from under water but travail to target above sea There are many modern Torpedo counter methods. but to work they need Modern and accurate sonar!

    Ive read a lot of navy history! Never ever herd of this!!!! can you give us a source of this information. more to the point what its success rate was? I think you will find this is a myth! (i believe its been in some movies) 4/5 inch guns are just not that accurate for such a small fast target! and smaller calibre guns would do nothing against a target 1 or 6 metre below the water

    Probably because CV of the time carried all 3! But to be honest i agree Im still at Langley. currently fly with 2 fighter squadrons as i am Crap with torp Bombers so play trying to keep enemy bombers if my team and there fighters off allied Torp bombers being piloted by better players than me! U sure you cant carry 2 fighter squadrons on Saipan?

    He has Played BB and DD unlike you who is all BB and CR............... And your 30 Sec in to game and being attacked by Torp Bombers! well if you had played CV at all you would know you cant even launch you TP till about 20-30 secs in game (and that's just tier 4) and then easily 1 min (at tier 4 anyway) to get across the MAP to your enemy. BB are the most constantly Rewarding Ships in game!

    Agree completely! This is why you see fewer DD at higher tiers! I'm tier 5 Jap and 4 american. There is some issue with Torp spotting distance at the moment! think it maybe needs to be reduced

    For me the Low tier DD torp reload is to fast! minimum should be about 1 min! The fact that even the short range american ships can have there second round of torps in water before first reach target is wrong! As balance goes (appart fro above! I think its ok! DD are very difficult to Play 1 simple mistake and its Byby ship! I find i either do realy well with 10+ Torp hits in 1 battle or die with maybe 1 hit! As DD are very unforgiving to mistakes people stop playing them. I have noticed as i get To tier 5 and 6 games there are less and less DD's in match BB on the other hand are very forgiving for a mistake! you have to mess up big time to achieve nothing!

Its was pretty Blatant what he was doing!!! with any luck as its beta WG will just revoke his key and kick him of BETA

    I would say lack of mobility is the very reason they should not rush to one flank at start as they cant redeploy later if they find no targets! and as for Turret Travers! the issue here is same weaver they are in 4-7 line or in ether flank. but as i say will test my theory when i get BB

    The only time i have seen an imbalance is the odd game where 1 team gets 2 BB and the other team get none! (had a few of these) A BB rich environment (at tiers 2-5 any way) is a DD's Dream.

    But That is better than being a BB on 1 flank with no enemy to fire at! By the time you get across the map the battle is over. I plan of getting my first BB this weekend! i will try my theory..

    First i have played no BB's yet and only 2 CV games 47CR and 28DD games But BB's can fire across about 1/3 of the map. If the BB's loiter around B. they have room to manover and can fire at all 3 cap zones. Most games where all my teams BB's go to the sides we tend to lose! where they sit close to B zone we tend to win! as they can react and redeploy faster to which ever flank the bulk of the enemy BB's are. The only time BB's should run to a flank (in my view) at start of match is that map (cant remember name) where the 1-3 lines is almost devoid of islands. Thus giving them plenty of space to manuver. A strong BB precancel there and controlling that flank often results in a win As for dominance games ending to fast! Mine tend to last a while so i don't agree with you there. but this is still beta and its a new and difficult mode to balance. I am sure we will see lots of changes to this mode before release. the only time i see dominance game end quickly is when 1 team completely ignore the Cap zones letting the other team hold them All. This is why i think there should be a XP Multiplier for holding CAP zones at end of match as if your team hold all 3 you should get lots more XP for controlling the map. Something like (at end of game) Holding no cap zones -15% Holding 1 cap zone No modifier. Holding 2 cap zones +15% Holding 3 cap Zones +30% This modifier would apply regardless of a win or a lose

    Domination games should be able to be won like that! Domination is about owning the sea/play area. I think there should be a XP bonus depending on the number of Zones your team ownes at end of the battle! Perfect example of a domination battle in real life.. Battle of Jutland 1916. Germany Won the action but lost the battle. Let me explain German Aim do enough damage to RN so it lost its dominance of the North sea/Atlantic. They failed. Yes they did a lot more damage 113k tones of ships sunk against loses of 63k tones of ships lost. they killed over 6000 RN personnel to losses of Just over 2500 sailors. But (and this is why they lost the battle) the Royal navy still had Total dominance of the sea after the battle and the Kreigsmarine (sorry for spelling) never let any of there major surface units leave port again till the surrender.

    52% of you games won were domination! Domination games is a mix of CAP and Destruction! So you cant say they are CAP wins. The % of domination games is probably artificially high during Beta as its the type that needs the most balancing! What i would like to see in domination game results is what % of the 1000 Points is cap and what percentage is ship destruction! Can you supply the numbers again not counting any Domination games? So just Standerd and Encounter as these game types are the only ones that you can win by ether destruction or CAP alone .

    I don't think a warning will help! Like WOT there need to be some sort of fine/punishment! I've hit 1 friend with 1 Torp! Killed 23 enemy ships! i have a 21% hit rate with Torps (this gives you an idea how may tops i have fired). I take in to account my allies when firing! With Jap torps this is harder as you can have up to 20km range (im 10km at mo). The fact is the Friendly hitting you with torps more often than not just want the damage kills and dont care about you. Last night i just avoided friendly torps shot at a carrier. I was 2 km away from said carrier. In a tier 4 Jap DD my "ALLEY" could be pretty sure i had that carrier covered! but he still fired. An alarm wont help that.

    No meant HMS Repulse the numbers i quoted were for her! The changes made to HMS Renown were even greater. Renown was 36k tones for example and Renown had 127 max deck armour not 102
