    @HMS_Dauntless Patience lad Patience Its a good business strategy! USN ship given to RN so and American and EU significance for the ship! Put it on Asian server first! All us Dumb Brits and some Yanks. baying like leashed dogs! They release it later or in a few days! We all jump for our wallets without even taking a look if she is any good or if we rely want her.

    They are reworking long range torpedoes. Currently there is no reason for a Jap DD from tier 8 + not to take the Longest range torps he can. This leads to people like my self who close the range still be able to join in these (SO CALLED) Walls of torps. by giving Jap DD's fast short range weapons as well i have to make a desition on how i want to play and sorry when i said tier 7 and 8 games I ment tier 7 and 8 ships. Very often they are in tier 9 and 10 games

    There is an Arti Cap in WOT!!!! You are calling DD's Arti.. seriously Arti for point 2 I think he means games would be boring if tehre were always 4 DD per team 4 CA 3 BB and the like. Put a cap on number of a class and this will happen more often. That said (and here i go again) there should be a variance max. so you cant get 1 DD on 1 team and 4 or 5 on the other. this variance should be 30-50% .

    We do the interesting thing that will balance these multiple Torp load outs have significant differences. The old 15 and 20km torps were very similar (15km did about 10% more damage) so most would take the 20km ones. These new 3 load are quite a bit different from each other so changes the roles of the Shimakazee for example to 2 distinct play modes with a middle one that is a bit of both

    It is quite a big nerf when it comes to area denial Launches and random Im going to launch down the channel and hope something appearers there. Also stops the event where you launch at 1 target and hit a random enemy 6km behind him! Like you i tend to close to 8km before i attack. But there are a lot of players that do those random launches with no specific target.

    Ok i know i only play low tiers! But in the last month of mostly Tier 7-8 games I have seen 6 DD a rarley and as for 7 or 8 (dont think i have seen 1) ,as i have been playing a lot of DD's so i am one of those stats you would have thought I would have a higher chance of getting in those Supper heavy DD matches. what % do you count as often?

    So the issue here is not the amount of DD in game but the imbalance when one team has lots and the other has few! Hanszeehock has ever said this was an issue or agreed with a poster that said it was. Look at the stats I posted (from last weeks games) tier 8-10 DD made up 28% BB/CA made up 67%. The issue with CV's was a CV v CV fight where the tiers were different the lower tier ship stood no chance (also early game the difference between fighters in Tier # and Tier # + or - 1 was huge. Also a match where a fighter load out CV had no apponet were crap for the CV and a Bomber load out CV with no Enamy CV was a Damage pinyata. They limited to 2 CV as games with 3 or 4 CV the other ships did not do anything as CV's completely Dominated the game and as for you finding it funny DD players don't think there is a big issue! We players that play all classes or just DD find it funny that predominately BB players Moan that DD/CV are over powered! the only ships that may have some advantage over a BB in a 1 on 1 fight.

    First USN DD that can and with a limited window and then only when you have top Launchers.. People forget they can invis launch. God the amount of times I forgot I had Torps with better than 4km when i got my Tashkent in the first matches after I upgraded

    DD roles in order 1, CAP (in domination mode) 2, Find enemy DD's (engage if your DD is gunboat and spot for CA/DD if you are in a torpedo machine) 3, Engage other enemy ships and area Denial CA Roles Cover big ships from air attack and DD attack and SUPPORT YOU DD's in there fight against enemy DD's CV Roles If you planes have dropped there bomb load or fighters have no targets! keep them above a DD if there are allied ships that can engage. Players do this and DD's are not a huge threat to your teams big ships till the end game

    What you have said and class of DD! Pure Gunboats (DD's that cant invis launch torps) have a lot lower Surviviability rate than there same tier opos that can launch Torps without revealing there position.

Yes 10 per battle for games with just tier 9 and 10 But add tier 8 to that and DD's drop to 28% of ships in game with CA/BB making up 67% Of ships. of tier 8-10 ships brought to battle 69% are tier 8 so i think we can surmize that most times you take a tier 9 or 10 ship in to a fight there will be quite a few tier 8's there so going back to you pic where the ships are tier 8-10 the ship disposition is very rare the average is between 3.3 and 4.8 DD per team (as tier 8 ships are also grouped with tier 6 and 7 ships For me i think the Big issue Variance! as you say DD's are imbalanced when when one team have way more than the other. Also i think the first fix they should try is limit number of DD on a Division! no more than 2 DD and maybe even make it that they have to be different classes of DD. Because yes 3 Shimakazees working as a team is probably way OP. Another thing for me Get rid of that fast Torp reload Consumable. Its just wrong and completely messes balance. Just no a DD with 2 min reload should not be able to reload in 30 secs 2 or 3 times a match

    Where is the post battle screen? I ask as i would like to see the result. Large numbers of DD on both side just means they will fight each other! and the team with the BB/CA that support the DD will win that DD fight! and then there DD's can own the enemy Big ships that hung back. This reducing rang of DD torps is not a bad thing as to be honest the long range drops are almost useless in taking out enemy ships they are just area denial. Most DD that do successful Torp attacks do them at under 10KM. Caping DD's at 2 or 3... YES PLEASE do it. Most DD players will love this! Games with large number of DD's in are Hell for Non Gun boat DD's and still stressfull for Gun boat DD's! The fights are fast furious and intense. But very difficult to do well. (they are however great fun) Less DD's in match means DD's can CAP easer and attack those big boys (BB/CA) In reality DD's Cap should be 5 maybe 4 This Pic is an extreme case At tier 9/10 DD's make up 39% of all ships brought to battle BB 31% CA 27% CV 3% so the avarage DD's in tier 9-10 matches is 4.8 or 5 DD.

    1st its not thousands its a few Vocal. those Vocal almost always never play DD or CV themselves.. Just look at this thread the people supporting you are out numberd by the Nay sayers Look at the stat pages the Top performers are almost always BB/CA not DD/CV Ok just tested it you cant order your planes over the border unless you are telling them to do a manual drop. So sorry unless you show me video you are wrong. There are issues with DD's but thats a little to do with high numbers at high tiers. and mainly due to matches where there are 5 or 6 DD on 1 team and 1 or 2 on the other. Then yes DD's are somewhat OP. not Smoke in invis fire of there guns When you AA is firing at the planes are you designating targets or letting the AA do it on its own! i ask because AA is more effective when you direct it . Also and if you have taken out half of the 12 planes that attack you what the issue you may eat a couple of torps but so what! in that tim fasing an enamy BB you damage would probably be greater

    There is huge potential to avoid manual drop after about tier 5 With BB's its called Awareness! 1 manoeuve aggressively when planes are close. 2 Turn in to the planes 3 AA dont let you AA Pick targets give them priority to Torp Bombers. consider using commander and Module buffs to AA guns. aggressive manoeuvring makes the planes stay longer over your ship. This in turn with range/ afficiancy increases means the carrier will often lose many if not all of his Planes before they drop.

    This is possible and I am aware of it its part of the game! and it was added in Beta as players were using the border to protect there ships from air attack. OP is stating CV players can get there planes so far across the border that ships within the game map cant see them. This I don't believe is correct. I will test in a co-op match tonight with one of my CV's. As for Manual drop torps! There is a very fine line between supper close and cant be avoided drops and dropping too close and the torps not arming. This is why rule of thumb ALWAYS TURN INTO TORP PLANES . Also Pick your AA targets. IE manual target TP planes and start aggressive manovers whenever planes are close untill you are sure they are going for someone else

    I am not going to say this is impossible till i get home and confirm! but as far as I am aware you cant get you planes so fare outside the border that they cant be spotted by any ship in the border vasinity

    So planes should go down the middle of the map so they get targeted! Unless i am mistaken any ship within 12 km of a border will see any planes that are hugging said border. Planes being able to attack from over the border was implemented to stop player abusing borders to thwart attacks from aircraft.

    Russian DD's overpowered OW please.... Russian DD's at least to tier 8 are much harder to play than JAP or USN. And yes i have played them all to tier 8. guns are good but no torps till health way through tier 8. Are the fun defiantly I do like the challenge of the Ruski DD's. CA well I am only at tier 3 at moment so wont comment on how good they are! but i am no more scarred of a Russian CA than those of other nations

    Kind of supports the theory of ARP missions then as more people are finishing them! Expect it to get worse again next week. Last week of mission panic will set in on those that have not finished it! or determination on those that did not try thinking it to hard but realised they are quit close to the goals

    Not sure you are correct with you view on knowing the tier!!!!! But if there are 100 Tier 6 in que as you say it more than enough for match but if at same time there are 3000 Tier 7 and 8! Well you will get a lot of tier 8 games. I for one have not been playing much tier 6. so have not seen your issue.

    which would also account for not being able to buy 3 point commanders. Simple fact is to allow the ships in game they probably paid a 1 of price! if there are sales WG have to keep track of it and pay a percentage on top. The ARP ships are a bit of fun that all
