Maybe make LEAST WANT BOLD RED AND CAPITALS, I for one almost voted completely the wrong way, and guessing the amount of people that have voted for no Signal flags, I'm thinking others HAVE read it wrong and not realised. Currently have something like 20 unused and unwanted spatial upgrades in store so I defiantly don't want any of them

As long as its not with the Hull.. If SEA is correct you lose AA and HP if you want to keep the historical guns. -

But the Gneisenau was designed for the 15inch guns but they could not be ready in time. The Turret Ring was the same size for the 3x11 as it was for the 2x15 also Gneisenau was dry docked in Poland to to get the 15inch guns. Her old turrets removed (1 shipped to Norway) The unhistorical 3x3 on KGV never go of the drawing board. Peronaly i think Gneisenau should have had the option of the 11ich guns -

But scharnhorst douse ok at tier 7 with 11inch guns against 15 and 16 inch gunned ships. Why cant the 14inch of KGV work at tier 8? -

Agread. Thought the lack of catapult for scout would have hindered her in he mission to attack convoys A LOT. I think we can agree on 1 thing having the 15inch guns in a 4/2/4 design is just wrong the 3x3 is a different ship not the one built. I think there would be pushing it to much to have the ship with 9 15inch guns (maybe as a prem) after starting the hull with the 4/2/4 design. -

That because the 14inch gun performed better than the 15inch mrk 1 How was it lacklustre against the Bismark? In both action the rate of fire was below what it should have been. 15inch guns was an early design idea it was never considered or indeed possible as an upgrade. . You cant just move or increase the size of a turret ring on a battleship. I fail to see why the 14inch guns cant work at tier 8 when the 11inch guns of the Scharnhorst do so well at tier 7. I hope to god we keep the Guns the class had and not the guns she was planned to have in early Desghn drawings -

Guys/Gals there is a Heavy BB meta in game at the moment. BUT THERE IS NO HIGH DD META its all imagination (mainly by BB players) Here are the numbers for the 2 months leading up to 27/05/2017 Ships brought to battle Low Tier 1-5 BB=28% CA/CL= 50% DD=17.6% CA=4% High tier 6-10 BB=42% CA/CL=33% CV=3% DD=21% Tier 8-10 BB=46% CA/CL=28% CV=3.3% DD=22.3% Low tier we would expect a High CA/CL count as tier 1 and 2 are CA/CL only. But look at the numbers DD have a lower count than BB/CA/CL what ever you filter for. Is there an issue of a to high BB count yes. But please dont muddy the waters by saying there is a heavy DD meta. Here is the thing PoW was a new Ship (Had been in Commission 3 months when she engaged Bismark). Rodney(HMS Nelson took no part in the battle) was already 15 years old when she met the Bismark Dreadnought will be a prem I reckon. As for Fantasy upgrades to German ships. It was a shame but they did not really have any choice otherwise there would be no tier 4-6 BB.. When the RN BBs are out I reckon we should have some matches. UK/German tier 3 BBs and CA 8BB/4CA/CL... German V UK.. Lets solve who really won the battle of Jutland any takers? KG V Class with 3 triple turrets was a paper Design. as you say.. After they built the ship with 4/2/4 layout the Turret sizes are fixed.. you cant refit a ship and drastically increase the size of a turret ring(as a triple turret in the B location would need. Many BBs in game had Torp tubes but they were non Trainable as so will not be modelled

Missions Equal i am not so bothered about.. Missions to a server must meet the need of the region. But to promote a new game mode that douse not support the current missions is just dumb

Really Wargaming.. You launch a new game mode.. Its challenging and Fun. There is a lot of room for improvement but its a great start. But Its not compatible with any Current missions REALLY.. Wargaming you really don't help youselfs.

We have all had that old Chap.. I like her.. surprised a few BB with those 12km torps. Same as you gives me a commander trainer ready for the Marina Militare. Lots of in game campaigns that need tier 8+ thats the problem

Problem with templates is they force players to play ships they dont want to play or increases que times as well as making matches very Sami . I have no real issue with the amounts of ships brought to battle at the moment or the numbers of each class of ship. We do however run the risk of this game becoming world of battleships if the numbers keep increasing and no one wants that . WG need to find a way to make CA/CL more attractive. They are the only class that can be deleted without warning all of a sudden. A BB and almost always avoid the bulk of torps if he is paying attention. A DD player should always have an exit plan! if he douse he can often get away from an issue. CA/CL can often be deleted or lose 3/4 of his health from a single salvo from a BB early in the game without even knowing the BB is there. I think a good way to sort this is in the without changing the mechanic to much is with the Priority Target skill.. If you are detected and targeted you get the notification. if you are targeted by a BB there should be some sort of indicator that one or more BB has its guns pointed at you. That at least gives you a chance to avoid -
@Amminus Most navys had about 10x or more DDs than BBs in service. Look at most fleet dispositions in almost any battle The Fleets DD population was about 5x that of BBs. A single DD would stand almost no chance against a BB this is true.. AS i see it in game your Shima douse not represent 1 ship. It represents a Squadron or Flotilla of 4 or 5.

Reason for my number as they are is Site i used splits 1-5 and 6-10. I calculated tier 8-10 manually from the full tier/Class stats as last time I used these stats in a thread someone said its completely different in upper tiers. they claimed 8-9-10 DD population is much higher. I was just preempting that argument. Just out of interest DD population at tier 10 is still only 30% with BB population dropping to 38%. Thats partly due to there being 3 Tier X BBs in game and 5 tier X DDs I would think Tier 7 CV make up 5% of Tier 7 ships played Tier 6 CV also 5% of tier 6 ships played I think we may see an increase in tier 6 CV since the dropping of manual attacks on tier 4-5 CV. I kept Langley as a Commander trainer for CV and to use to complete CV missions. Loss of manual drop I moved the commander to Independence -
Its easy we should have 2 BB lines 2 CA or CL lines at least 1 CV line(with a branch split and about 4 DD lines. My main problem with the RN BBs will be captains. I don't think i will be so bothered about the 9 and 10 ones bet the ones below. If they were launched I will want to keep them

Shiny is a great ship and love her.. But most fun goes to Okhotnik... Close to point blank and shotgun that BB with 12 Torps.

WHERE ARE RN DD. Royal navy had more Distinct DD classes than any other navy in this time period.. Why are they not in game.... They should have been here a year ago........ Dont get me started on CV we invented the bloody things and almost every mile stone in CV progression RN did it first. First take off and landing while at sea and underway/First combat operation/Catapult/Angled flight deck/Night flying operations even the first landing by a Jet plane on a CV Sorry could not resist.... HEHE Im glad RN BBs are here at last but I have had the Old Grand Lady to keep me going so I have been fine with the wait.
