Navalised JU 87. Germany Developed a JU87 with Folding wings the JU87C (and Flown). It did actuly fly and infact almost 1000 arrester gear landing were completed on dry land. Not sure if the Torpedo Pic is a German Mock up or if they were flown. (edit) the last pic seems to confirm JU87s did indeed conduct operations with torpedoes

Why *Edited Guns Almost identical to Gallant (You tube Vids show them as being good) Torps ok only 6km.. But thats a lot better than what the RU DDs have.. Ok speed of 31kn Not so good. To buy no i would not get her with Gallant at tier 6, But if she is a reward ship like Graf Spee was ....

The tier 7 has Module upgrades (hull,engine and the like) so she is not a prem. Gneisenau you do realise she was dry docked in Poland for those double turrets. and in fact the old ones were removed and shipped to Norway and to mu understanding the new ones were delivered but just never fitted. Calm down its rather obvious what the issue is. Its the same as when they split the DD lines for IJN and RU They are testing KGV at tier 7. Maybe they are struggling a bit with her at tier 8. hence the made up name As for Attitude to historical ships. Come on whats you beef.. They keep pretty close to history. But they had no choice as Germany had no BBs between 1918 and 1938.. They sensibly did a what if the German High seas fleet had not been Scuttled at Scapa Flow.

But please CA/CL are still strong a popular in the game.. BB population could be a bit lower. But as the most mistake friendly Ships. WG have there work cut out for them to make the other classes more popular.

It was not it was a design idea at ALL... the start.It was never planned as an upgrade. As i have said before in order to change a 4/2/4 gun layout the front 1/3 of the ship would have to have been removed and a new Bow section made. The Job would have been HUGE. Very Early in the design stages there was a choice of 14 or 15 inch guns. Treaty's (pushed by UK) limited Calibre to 14inches so the RN went with that
