Problem is that DDs as a class are very under-performing right now, ad WG does not want to buff them. DDs are competitive with the other classes only up to tier 5, after that become weaker. On US line, Mahan is weak too. Benson is a little bit better than Mahan. Fletcher and Gearing are OK, and have better torps. On the JP line, Mutsuki, Hatsuharu and Kagero are bad, Fubuki and Shimakaze are OK. By OK you must understand however that they are playable (especially if you are good with DDs), not that they are among the best ships on their tier.

Correct damage when citadel is hit can only be citadel hit... so nerf probably.

My best Mutsuki game: "When a shitty ship goes mad". 300k credits, almost 10 k XP, almost like a "skillship" CV. Funny thing, my chance to set the target on fire was almost 30% in this game.

Ships (usually BBs) already have protection against torpedoes, it s called torpedo bulkhead.

Nope, I think the CVs are just broken as a class, but it willl be nerfed a lot. WG will loose money because 10% of average players are made into superplayers because a class is broken. The rest of 90% means more money for WG (Tirpitz...). WG can not afford to shoot itself in the leg. CVs will be nerfed into oblivion like the arty in WoT.

Only CVs are better than BBs, CAs and DDs are worse.

WTF is the trite?! Stop the trite! It s not. A succesful kamikaze torp run for a DD will at least severely damage you, and the HP you still have left will not allow you to do it again. The CV just needs to rearm his planes and will do it again. Also the skill required for the CV is much lower.

Let s not forget that tier 9 and 10 carriers have not been nerfed yet. When WG will have enough data about tier 9-10 ships, those will be nerfed too

You re a scout. If you dont want to be a scout anymore, play it in the evening, when there are more players, you ll get tier 4-5 games mostly.
