Not really, US CVs can already do ough damage when going full strike, but lack map control. They have map control when going AS, but lack damage. AP DBs will not be much unless the loadouts are ballanced.

You can not reason with the fanboys, either CVs or BBs. Funny that the cruisers and DDs dont have a fanclub. A simple check up if carriers are balanced: Which classes have a strict number limit of 1 max 2 per team?

You cant angle, they are dive-dropped, coming down mostly closer to the vertical on the deck and marginally obliquely on the belt, and I guess this will be RNG decided too (a 10% buff means manual drop is not worth it). Best defense would be not to turn into them like for TBs, but receiving them broadside to minimize the exposed deck area and expose more belt. Anyway, this was the new promised weapon, so no mines, rockets, subs, etc..

Fixed pen 70-250 mm, ricochet angle 45, overpens weaker armor... seems like an anti BB weapon. What armor will be overpenned? Below 50 mm?
