Finally, WG decided that time travel or teleportation technology during that period was not advanced enough for this to be possible. So no more time travel for CV captains, yay! Good job! What he said, Def AA is useful not only in CV games, but to kill the single spotter/fighter when needed. And is fast enough even without speed boost. AA module because the accuracy module with US destroyer gun arcs dont go well together.

I still would not take DE and think either Vigilance or JOAT + EL would be better.

You did not play French cruisers then. Though LS is better. For stealthy cruisers can be a choice. Also for HIV because it can use its speed to disengage.

Vigilance or BoS or IFA + Last Stand or JOAT. It can be a viable choice, since DE was nerfed to 2% bonus.

Being in the same team, I dont really see a possibilty for cheating, sometning is definitely strange. However 2 seasons ago I witnessed some cheating when 2 clanmates were on opposing teams and one was helped to keep his star. But being in the same team, other than using your voice clan channel to coordinate with your clanmate, I don t see any other possible advantage so you should contest WG decision. As i said before, I think that WoWs support was downsized a lot compared to what was before, and a lot of the answers and actions are now automated, keeping the number of the human employees at minimum possible. Each reply is sent to you as signed by a different name, but those are fake IDs and automated replies.
