I believe they can be very strong for the small minority of the playerbase that knows how to use concealment and firing detection to their advantage. So I hope the average player will overestimate or underestimate them greatly.

People that complain the most about the matchmaking are disproportionately at the lower end of the winrate scale. I wonder what that says about the validity of their complaints... Most of them would probably not improve a lot even if they were top tier in +2 matchmaking all the time. So they would certainly drag down the team in the very matchmaking systems they propose.

I was actually very happy when Sera joined WG, consider his long career in high competitive leagues. He is probably the best player in their staff by a large margin. Remember: the team that is responsible for community engagement is probably the most reasonable and approachable part of WG.

You know what is even funnier? That is his reroll account. He said so on his original account, which he uses frequently in the news section. I dream of a time where people can accept that they are wrong and need to improve themselves. Sadly that time will never come. So the messenger of their incompetence keeps getting shot.

My theory would be: WG is adopting community ideas and making them look so dumb that enough backlash is created for them to stop committing to CV changes. Community discredited and it can't possibly be WG's fault, right?

He never stated there is nothing wrong with it. He just states that the MM works as designed. That is not a hard difference to grasp, is it? He is openly critical of a lot of WG things, in fact. You can fault the good colonel on a great many things, but lying in WG's favour is not one of them. Rather he is like those typical forum oracles you find in this genre: extremely knowledgeable but sometimes unbearably smug about it.

They have a list of banned words. They will not publish that list. But the reply that they gave indicates that they do not like the words you used. Some of them are uncouth and unfitting for the game. So if they decide you broke the rules, you probably broke the rules. It is just a chat ban, who cares. If I had a doubloon for every time someone made a thread about an unlawful chat ban and the WG staff came in showing that the person had misbehaved, I might actually be able to afford one of the T10 bundles. What you are doing now is dedicating way too much time to something you cannot change and which is not paramount to your gaming experience.

Just because you do not consider them valid, does not mean that they are not valid. WG is the authority here and they will not publish the list of banned words because people would abuse it. If this is how you act on the forums, I can definitely see that your chat ban was justified... You are playing a word game because you cannot handle being timed-out for saying something. Be a man and accept the punishment.

The point is, your view in this does not matter in the slightest when you signed a EULA stating you are not allowed to do the things that you did. They make the rules, not us.

It would be better to going into the matter of it and not ridicule someone who is not a native English speaker. Extremely entitled and arrogant reactions like this would turn anyone off from these discussions... I agree that radars and other game-changing equipment should be more equally distributed but that would not work in an entirely random matchmaker as advertised. So it does not benefit WG even if it would benefit us.

I doubt you just get banned for ''thanks bots''. We have a lot of people claiming their chatbans are unfair but when the logs are shown, turns out they have been naughty. 200 games is far too little to establish any pattern, and you still have much of the game to learn.

The game is pay to progress, not pay to win/lose. Learn to play better first. This isn't a mobile game (yet).You are not entitled to winning a game, you have to actually play for the win.

There are not enough players for an ELO system. Everyone would just end up on 50% for any skill-based system. Which means that some get more than they deserve and some get worse despite their skill. I think we have been trying to find a way to make it more skill-based ever since it was introduced and there is simply no way. Anyone can get to Gold 1 with enough suffering.

And it would change absolutely nothing. Ranked never was skill-based and never will be. Whether you be unicum or potato, you will have to deal with one another, and for one group that is much more lifting than for the other.

Honestly, I never understood why people hate FdG so much. What is wrong with a tanky hydro BB, combining 22 second reload and good secondaries? Some people might still remember how it was pre-buff and base their opinions on that.

That is true. My mistake is in not playing stock Z-23 (I always FXP all the modules). So it is correct to say 4 guns/4 turrets for A hull and 5 guns/4 turrets for B hull?

Delny is a worse Khaba and a worse Tashkent and Preussen is just a sidegrade. You can just ignore them if you don't play them since you have two special ships in your port now to earn you more credits. Same process as with Moskva. You do not have to be grateful, but you lose literally nothing except completion of two lines for what are arguably worse Tier X ships.
