pay2win - in WoWs not really, but how much does it help?
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to BoxOfAngryBees's topic in General Discussion
Literally anyone can get free flags. In fact, the flag crates for achievements made it easier for new players. And you can resupply both with resources that don't require money. If you are a good player, you should not have much of a problem with it, especially not if you have a referral code with a premium ship or something. Use your premium days to the fullest. Play your best ships. You should never truly run out. -
pay2win - in WoWs not really, but how much does it help?
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to BoxOfAngryBees's topic in General Discussion
Except I have never heard of premium camos being better than other camos except for economic benefits? The Type 1 and Type 2 are in fact just as good as the other camos, just without economic stats. There is no Pay-to-Win, only Pay-to-Progress. That some ships are easier to do well in or are overtuned, still requires a player that can use them.- 20 replies

Update 0.10.11: New Year
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Although I agree with your sentiment, I don't think the game will miss you... -
WoWS x Warhammer 40,000: Orks and Black Templars
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
You got three. Pyotr Veliky was a blueprint and this Knyaz Suvorov is not the pre-dreadnought at Tsushima. You should have mentioned all the four Ganguts seperately and you would have been right. -
Your expectations from the free Santa containers
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to Jvd2000's topic in General Discussion
Except there will not be a shortlist or need for a shortlist, since the massive amount of T5-7 ships forms a shortlist of their own... And they will undoubtedly be skewered towards ships that are so bad that no one bought them and got better ships instead, because that is how the re-roll works. So if you don't already have all or the vast majority of ships, you can't really expect anything you were looking for or making any ''profit'' out of it. -
Given that NFTs are just glorified money laundering, I am interested to see if they will survive long enough to be adopted on mass by the gaming industry, after being doomed to die just like crypto, when governments catch up and get their hands on it...

Your expectations from the free Santa containers
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to Jvd2000's topic in General Discussion
I know for certain that I will be getting Yukon from my first crate, it is steel farming from there on out. Other than that, I'm fine with anything in the crates, except for maybe premium time, since I have a lot of that lying around already. But one usually does not look a gift horse in the mouth. -
Update 0.10.11: New Year
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
I mean, does it really matter when all you get are three T5 ships, a commander and some perma camos? The ''need ship X for task Y'' missions are always the least rewarding and lowest priority. -
General CV related discussions.
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to Excavatus's topic in General Discussion
Funny you should mention BBs, since CVs can basically drop an average BB salvo anywhere on the map in every single separate attack flight. If the CV player is skilled enough and does not like eating flak as much as he enjoys licking windows. -
"Historical accuracy" and what it says about WG's attitude toward players
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to FixCVs_Nautical_Metaphor's topic in General Discussion
Hard to argue with this one, but it is still a dime-a-dozen complaint. -
General CV related discussions.
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to Excavatus's topic in General Discussion
Well, CVs are the best spotting class in the game, one of the faster classes on average in the game, with tankiness behind only to battleships and supercruisers. You know, other surface ships actually have to try in order to kill a CV. When a good CV player can deal with you as easily as turning one's hand. -
"Historical accuracy" and what it says about WG's attitude toward players
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to FixCVs_Nautical_Metaphor's topic in General Discussion
So you wasted your time writing all this, even though everyone already knows WG uses historical accuracy when it suits them? You are very dedicated to your complaining, I must say.- 37 replies

Tier VIII Cruiser: Which do you think is best?
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
Atago, Mainz and Baltimore are definitely my favourites at Tier 8, although there are a lot of decent and reliable ships out there. Strangely I don't seem to run into a lot of CVs as of late, but that could just be anecdotal. -
Reading comprehension is hard, we get it.

Yolo Emilio AA nerfed HARD
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to arttuperkunas's topic in General Discussion
I mean, shouldn't you do research into what the guns can or cannot do before you model a ship and give it stats? Seems like a pretty big oversight to discover after more than a year. Not like the AA range makes it unbalanced or anything, and they even ''buffed'' the continuous damage (for what it is worth). -
Ranked Battles: Need more than seven on a team.
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
I think you can get a nice long nap once the forum mods step in, just saying... -
Ark Royal and Bearn: Why bother with the Bearn?
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
Bearn looks more like a glorified testing platform for CV changes and variations than anything else. Why get it when the tech tree ships are so much better? -
What is your 'rarest' ship in WoWS?
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to Aethervoxx's topic in General Discussion
In terms of battles, Almirante Abreu. (Which has a great horn!) In terms of actual rarity, I have every retired ship, excluding the Arkansas Beta and Iwaki Alpha. -
I will simply receive a Yukon from the Christmas crates, farm steel, then sell it. I don't want anything to do with it, considering the history of development... Don't buy her or the camo until WG has done its creators justice.

some missions for Novorossiysk is too hard for common player!
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to VedranSeaWolf359's topic in General Discussion
For the largest of whales, certainly. Maybe it is time to step up the whale hunt again? -

RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to VedranSeaWolf359's topic in General Discussion
There is no shortlist this year. Instead they have a much higher chance of dropping a lower tier ship first, like every year. -
Bravo WG (Satan container drop rates, CV spotting)
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to arttuperkunas's topic in General Discussion
Well, it says it in the description, when 0.10.11 releases, which should be next week? -
BB Fire Prevention Skill: Is it really worth it?
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
Fire Prevention takes priority together with Concealment Expert. It is more important than the repair party skill by far. Combining it with Basics of Survivability makes it even stronger. A Jean Bart probably takes less fires because it sits nose in and a Massa usually shows more of the ship when pushing so people can set multiple fires? Fire coefficients should be the same across all battleships, if I am not mistaken? -
Satan crate drop rates and ship list
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to arttuperkunas's topic in General Discussion
I see that you are struggling to read, please focus on the part where I said that this benefits people who already whaled all the ships. It is not something for the average player, it is a consolation price for whales that is technically more valuable than the doubloons for duplicates. -
Coal: Which ship should I get?
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
So when are your friends in the mod team going to step in to help you or was that a bluff too? Hard to believe that forum mods would be partisan enough to "warn" you of certain posters. For someone who has been on forums for so long, you don't really seem to know your way around or grasp what "forum" (a place for discussion) actually means, aside from acting like a 2010s snowflake. But at least you provide good entertainment. Mods, I would close the thread since OP is constantly derailing it himself as well and his question has already been answered by now. Just to prevent further discussion.
