Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance

Except it is still very much possible? I am not an amazing player and I can do it, so no one else can feasibly have an excuse. You just have to play the right class to make the game impact, hence it is best to play DDs. -
So far the only steel ships they pulled and brought back for coal were Neustrashimy and Flint, both of which were in the line up for a long time. Bourgogne is an better Alsace with Reload Booster, not at all like Jean Bart. Barely anyone focuses a steel ship specifically because it is a steel ship. Your 18k of battles have not yielded a lot of positive results for your teams. It is not about the quantity, it is about the quality of your play. You are a deeply below average player in this game. So I do not think a lot of people will take your authority seriously.

The problem is that a lot of the Project 13 designs and Yamato proposals are basically the same/similar hull with different weapons (Hizen/Izumo) and there are no real light cruiser designs past Agano, unless you split off pre-refit Mogami and just give the heavy cruisers 155s. The line will be even less varied than American designs. The only design that is really missing is Tosa and maybe an actual Project 13 with three twin 460mm turrets. They are just not exciting enough for WG to pay off without a lot of gimmicks and players both hate copypaste ships and ships that live on gimmicks. I also want more content for Japan, but there is just not that much left to choose from. The emergency destroyers like Matsu are not even viable enough as warships to really use. And I really don't want to see them go the US route where every single design gets their own premium with associated gimmicks, unless it is a series of proposals like the Tillmans.

They are only strong/OP in the hands of a good player. And I will reserve the right to tell people whether they are playing well or not, just as everyone else does.

The "wonderful" (......) F. der Grosse...
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to zalman7700's topic in General Discussion
I would say that FdG is one of the best and most fun T9s to play. Fast reloading guns, accuracy is not absolutely terrible (looks at French ships), good secondaries, more agile than GK and a lot of health. And the GK is even better! -
Well no, I don't think that you know what you are talking about when you only have feelings and no numbers. The fact that you have the steel ships is the problem, you are just not playing well enough to get the best out of them... So if your playing level is always the same, of course nothing changes...
-
Well you have steel, but not in regular (non-super) containers, I am aware. But that is hardly enough for someone who only plays randoms, and thus does not disturb the balance. Saying ''that's final'' is just a weak bid to claim you are right when you cannot back them up with anything but ''your feelings''. Steel ships generally require more skill than tech tree ships, so potatoes will underperform horribly. Your seniority in the game means nothing, as seen by your in-game results.

Roadmap and what..... lies...... ahead.
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to Andrewbassg's topic in General Discussion
This is just a testament to how unloved WoWP is, that it has become the testing ground for any stupid idea ever invented. -
Japan does not really need a lot of content when WG in their endless wisdom made what could have been already sketchy alternate tech trees into premiums. Ise, Hyuga, Kii, (Tosa) for BBs and Yahagi for light cruisers. You will take your Zao ''buff'' and enjoy it.
-
There was no nerf... Some people got more 3x coal this month than the last year combined. Does ''random chance'' say anything to you? And no, we don't need steel in resource containers. Just play the game like everyone else, that way potatoes don't get access to steel ships they don't deserve.

They literally said in the stream that they cannot reveal any collabs without permission from their partners and we will be getting our next collab soon (tm)

Warplanes got NFTs? So WG is into money laundering after all, then... -

Maybe the problem is that too many people happily started buying like idiots again after the drop rates were revealed, making WG think that such distractions and reworks ''in the name of the playerbase'' are earning them more? -
Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance

You get extra XP (and credits?) for doing well as a bottom tier ship. And they make for great stories and excitement. Deleted a Hurricane clan Des Moines with my Z-23 today and I haven't felt that good in a while. -
You have done this forum a great service, comrade.
-
Technically they do not owe you anything, you waive your right to a refund by buying something that is not a ship from the premium shop and WG owns everything on your account by the Terms of Service. You can demand a chargeback, where you can get some recently spent money back but WG will lock your account.
-
So, who is going to bring out the BaBBie bingo card?
-
There was none, that particular poster is speaking nonsense as usual. I assume they will be close to Repulse and Incomparable.
-
It won't be like premium ammo. It will be a rework that changes nothing at best and a disaster for the economy at worst. My money is on the latter end of the scale.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Petro, surely? -
Next ranked season: puhlease not just T10
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to Camperdown's topic in General Discussion
You will understand how fast they die at an arbitrary point set by your discussion partner in order to disqualify your opinions. Although going by stats like he does, you have roughly twice as much right to talk about the game than he does... Someone who knows what they are talking about is better than someone who failed their way through X times as many games as you. -
Incomparable out of NDA
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to totally_potato's topic in General Discussion
I believe that Incomparable is a perfectly balanced ship. Good players do well in her and potatoes fail to exploit her strengths. With 10.6km concealment, you can sneak up on a lot of ships and slap them around before they can retaliate. Your mistake is to play it like a BB, because it is more like a cruiser: brittle but agile. Range mod is not needed, unless the enemy somehow manages to outrun a battlecruiser with(bugged!) speed boost. -

Thank you for proving my points even though you grossly misrepresent them, I shall add this conversation to my trophy rack, besides my social credit score. -
Armada: Giuseppe Verdi You Tube contest results.
RuruushuVuiBuritania replied to Anthoniusii's topic in General Discussion
The winner is normally announced with the next Armada video, if I recall correctly? The winner of the Marlborough contest was announced in the pinned comment under the Verdi video. So we can assume with some certainly that the next Armada video will have the winner pinned under it, since it is not in any of the videos after the Verdi video. And if you don't ping them, how can they know you have this question?
