    Torpedoes everywhere.....

You might also want to watch these, specifically episode 3: http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/7352-captains-academy-gameplay-guides-and-tips-latest-how-to-play-carriers-effectively/ (I learned a lot about the game in his videos. Really good stuff.) The short version of it: The trick with torpedo bombers is to turn bow or stern towards approaching planes before they even drop. It forces them to either find a new approach (if the CV player executes manual drops and pays attention), or the spread will be very easy to dodge. Also, torpedo bombers don't hit anywhere as hard as ship-launched torpedos -- unless you are caught unaware and hit in the side by one or two squads' torpedo loads. Be careful where you go with your BB. Narrow passages are calling for trouble, because any DD player who has got a little bit of a clue will be able to ambush you there with a fatal result for you! (When you finally spot them, they will have their torpedos on their way already.) Either stay out in the open, or make sure you have cruiser support.

    Time and speed

This is most certainly a minor thing and not important compared to other bugs, but nonetheless: Time/speed are way off. The battle report just showed about 15 minutes battle time and distance travelled just under 70 km. So that's 280 km/h in my Aoba then? Super unlikely!

    A pleasure to meet you

Hi! I'm in the same boat! Checked the website after watching a video from Jingles' channel just to see when open beta would start... To discover that CBT access costs as little as £15 was a nice surprise! So here I am. Should be able to set sail in about half an hour (downloading...). Ahoy captains!

Meanings of Slang & Basic Pointers

Extremely useful read! (while I'm downloading the client...)
