Firstly let me start by saying I do love this game, I really do. But it has its flaws. The cost! I am a premium player, so pay the few pounds a month to play, but I think the game model is seriously flawed. If you spend more money and purchase a ship from the store (I will add I have only purchased the murm), why should you then have to further by doublooms to then use the XP you generate from that ship to use on others. This is a serious cash cow for the game makers, it really it. Once you start getting up to the tier 8 levels and above, you will find if in a DD for example, and a lucky shot takes you out in a one-er, thats it. Not enough money made to even cover the cost of the repair at the end of teh round. Even a win, (or loss) without ship loss can result in you making a loss in game currency at the end, meaning you have to resort to playing a much lower tiered ship to make the cash back to pay for the repairs to take your teir8 + ship back out. So as much as I love the game, love the randomness it can offer, I dont love the sheer cash cow attitude the makers have towards it player base. There should be more offered for premium players, as in other online free to play games, and there just isnt. Every turn is more irl cash to do anything in the game. So great game, great gameplay but dont get suckered into spending money, and you will get to a point where you dont have a lot of choice. My premium ends in 11 days and then thats it for me. No more payments and likely no more playing. Game makers please take note- Offer the premium players something to keep them paying, I dont mind paying premium but starting to realise you get so little for any aspect of the game thats paid for.

I get what your saying But I have felt for a while they are really milking the hell out of us for a free game- Whether you pay or not. I see other threads today about the fact looks like they have nerfed the damage/reward so the whole thing is only going to worsen. Sadly I am done. There are other games out/coming out (i have never been averse to paying for games) that I will play- At least you know what you get when you pay your money. WIth WG at the moment, seems you get some of what you think you get when you pay for it, but then after that you have to pay for some of it some more. Good fast cash cow gaming. Not for me any more. I genuinely wish you all the best of luck, unlikely ill be back unless they seriously fix what you actually get for what you pay for- As a given (as made clear before I have only ever bought 1 ship) if you buy Premium ships (and some are being asked a lot of money for) then you should not have to pay further money for doublooms, to then use the XP you grind out on those ships. Should be a given you can use all of it. But then I guess that would seriously hit WG profits.

yep I have started a seperate thread for exactly that post. Seems they want to milk the cash cows, and force the non paying into either no playing, OR paying up. This i think has to be the most expensive free to play game I have ever played. When current premium runs out (11 days) I am outa here. May already be outa here anyway as its costing me more than I win per fight at higher tiered matches
