regarding the viability of the top tier DDs...ask any top tier NON CV player what scares them the most in the game. they WILL say it's the enemy DD. i'm mainly playing DDs.when i get into the game and see the setups i am afraid only of 2 things, enemy CV or a DD.if the match has no CVs then it's pretty much free reign. if there's no CV and ENEMY DD in the match, you're god. and with the amount of BBs and CAs in the top tiers atm. i was using the 15km torps mainly aswell, due to the ability to fire at ships sailing away, and yea the hit rate not the best BUT if ya do proper spreads you are pretty much guaranteed a hit,so even if from each salvo only 1 torp hits, you still end up with a decent chunk of dmg done by the end of the match

i didn't have any problems with neither of them, fubuki was ok for me especially since you get 3x3 torp launchers.which is enough to oneshot pretty much anything you meet, the only diferrence is that the players are more aware of torp danger ..on the hull choices, don't go for anything aa related since even if ya comletely deck your ship out in AA it will still be worseless, and extra gun or 2 might come in handy if ya run into enemy dd. they play style is the same on all of them.. stay as close as you can to your minimum spotting range to get the most of your torps...and blow crap up...use ambushes...kamikaze runs, open waters.. anything works tbh ,
