Well, having some classes split over two tiers is not so much because of the lack of designs. It is more the wish to play these ships in their WW1 version which is not possible/fun in the current meta because stock hulls simply suck big time. Remember, a lot of these ships have been in service for 30 years and saw substantial refits. PS: with "old" shells I was referring to the APC Type 3 shell. Most of the WW1 era APC shells were far less efficient compared to the ones used in WW2 (eg. Type 91 for the 35,6 L45), especially AP.

Thank you! I agree that Satsuma is a bit of a stretch but I still like the idea. I guess techically it would work. Yamashiro on T5 might look strong but the old shells have been rather bad so I guess she could easily be balanced as a strong T5. On T6 she is stock certainly not good enough. Ashitaka would be a stock WW1 Amagi. The name is a prelimenary name for either Atago or Takao. There have been multiple design proposals, only one of the later ones had the trunked funnels as seen on the stock ship in WoWS. As for No 13 she is more or less an improved Amagi/Kii design. Just stronger.

More than 500 votes! Good stuff and a somewhat clear preference for the historical more significant lines. Not entirely surprising but still very interesting! I Hope for a true battlecruiser line. These are aweaome ships

Almost :-) The König used The Drh LC1911 which was in the leak. Kaiser used the Drh LC1909 version. Maybe WG doesn't care but maybe the list is simply not finalized

With regards to the leaked German BB guns I am almost sure that these are not final/ all. We have neither Nassau's nor Kaiser's gun turrets in the list although both have been mentioned in the 2016 preview video.

Which Leak? The guns and engines? I figured out that strange enough only König's 30.5 L50 are in the leaked files Even though we have seen Kaiser as work in progress in modelling.

It is really sad but secondaries are simply a joke. I understand the reasons behind that by I don't like it. I would vote for manually controlled secondaries. WG can still use RNG to prevent them from being OP but at least this option would add - diversity in gameplay - a little additional skill needed (Switch guns & timing) - make secondaries half way useful What do you guys think?

It is probably. SMS Blücher and Adm Hipper use a similar gun calibre around 20cm. The proposal here is about both cruiser lines evolving into heavier Main armament on high tiers. The "lighter line evolves from the WW1 105mm through the standard 150mm into the "treaty-Heavy" 20cm. Similar to the Lines available today. The Second "big-gun" line evolves from the WW1 style 21cm guns all the way down the Panzer cruiser calibers. Which would make for an entirely different playstyle. With regards to potential premium ships I would like to see: - one or two carriers (at minimum Graf Zeppelin) - the 15cm armed version of Hipper called Lützow - the L20a battleship design - SMS Helgoland - and of course a WW1 battlecruiser for the 100 year Jutland year Having the Hipper-Class "Blücher" in the game doesn't give me much. I would rather save the name for the unique armored cruiser!

Ich leider auch :-( Auf der anderen Seite ist die König auch eine echte Schönheit! Halt leider ein bisschen weniger Abwechslung. Im letzten Leak in 2015 waren die Mackensen Kaonen ja noch drin. So ganz gebe ich die Hoffnung daher noch nicht auf :-)

It is the last SMS armored cruiser from 1908 which pretty much paved they way for the German battlecruisers. Within the proposal it is part of the "big-gun" cruiser line at T5. Relatively fast, 6 x 210mm Yorck turrets and lots of armor. She would mark the break in the line towards the lightly armored but heavily armed Panzer cruisers.

Eine aktuelle Studie belegt, das alles sch**** ist und auch nicht mehr besser wird (wahrscheinlich sogar noch schlimmer wird). Ich freue mich trotzdem riesig auf die alten Kaiserliche Marine Schiffe, habe vorsorglich ein paar Hafenplätze gebunkert, die sind im Angebot. T3-6 werde ich sicher behalten, hoffentlich macht WG da keine Sci-Fi-NASA-Raumschiff-Enterprise Upgrades drauf sondern lässt sie, wie sie gehören! Finde die Tiers 7 und darüber eh nicht so spannend (OT: finde die Hipper eher lame bisher. Würde sie gern gegen die Hindenburg tauschen aber das dauert ja...) Wobei: dass die Schlachtkreuzer erstmal nun gar nicht kommen sollen finde ich auch echt traurig!

SMS Lützow would be equally fine! I simply don't want to wait for a possible BC line release in earliest 2018 or so :-( Similar to Tirpitz - those who bought it got it one year or a half earlier before the rest can take Bismarck out for a free ride.

Ich glaube, die Erwartungen sind nach der ewig langen Wartezeit einfach sehr hoch. Glaube kaum, dass die überhaupt zu erfüllen sind. Das Spiel wächst halt leider relativ langsam was neuen Inhalt angeht. Und der Hype um die Deutschen BBs wird nun seit einem Jahr aufrecht erhalten. Bin gespannt :-)

Hmmmm.... If your conclusion is correct I have doubts we will see a really unique Premium either. They talked about 2-3, one BB, one CA and one which can't be classified properly. That would mean: Scharnhorst as the BB, Prinz Eugen or Lützow (15cm MA) as CA and Deutschland/ Graf Spee as The "Special" one, so more or less reskinned ships already available. Why not: Derfflinger aus The BB and eg. SMS Blücher or Scharnhorst 1906 als the premiums? The older ships are a little underrepresented!

I couldn't agree more with you but I am afraid that both names will be used for The KM Capital ship class - one as premium with a little goodie to make the Fan boys spend another 50 Euros and the other one in the regular tree. Kinda sad that WG has no sweet spot for the good old times! Would love to see the 1906 Scharnhorst!!!

I also find it kinda odd to have Scharnhorst als Premium. Not sure if WG really does it but the naming convention of her guns Look like Emden & Tirpitz. I mean, everyone would buy her for sure and she is kind of special with her smaller guns. Ersatz Yorck would be awesome in The tree at T7 though :-)

Touché :-) ist sonst noch noch jemandem aufgefallen, dass die Kanonen der Scharnhorst den Schiffsnamem im Filenamen haben so wie bei Tirpitz? Vielleicht ja doch ein Premiumschiff...? Dafür sehe ich im neuen Leak die 35 L45 der Mackensen nicht mehr. Dafür die 30.5 L50 LC1911 der König. Evtl. doch eine langsame Linie auf Lowtiers und dann die schnellen KM Eimer. Leider doch keine HSF Schlachtkreuzer...?

Nice line up! According to the armored patrol The German Guns and Engines have been datamined clearly identifying Scharnhorst. EDIT: interesting speculation: The guns for Scharnhorst arme named, potentially indicating a Premium Ship . And The 30.5 L/50 are named Drh Lc11 which was the version used on the König class battleships.

Habe das Ding mal angefangen zu bewegen und finde sie bisher eher zu stronk. Die extrem starken Geschütze in Verbindung mit der Geschwindigkeit ist schon besonders. Aber Spaß macht sie definitiv.

Apparently USS Texas gets released aus a Premium now which is a New York class with better AA. It would be nice to see a new premium ship though - I mean one that isn't in The game in another form yet. Anyone got any Information on potential next premiums to be released?

One of the premium is believed to be the heavy cruiser Deutschland/or Graf Spee. Other than that WG was mentioning a cruiser and a battleship. I really hope they Release a WW1 Style battleship/battlecruiser for The 100 year Jutland !
