Nach vier Testrunden bin ich eher zurückhaltend. Sie ist schon gut aber die Begeisterung wie bei der Roon blieb bisher aus. Gefühlt ist sie weniger tanky. Kapitän ist noch nicht fertig - es kann also noch werden.

Nee, das hast du falsch verstanden. Mich interessiert die Shinonome aber ich befürchte, dass die Missionen mir keinen Spaß machen werden (siehe WoT Vergleich). Mund anders (Shop) wird sie wohl nicht zu bekommen sein. Unterschied zur neuen Tree Funuki wird sein, dass sie einen Doppeltturm mehr und schlechtere Torpedos haben wird.

I did not say primary but "second" weapon. The impression I got was that offensive torps (good arcs and 8km range) shall complement the offensive capabilities of the ship. There wouldn't be a need to complement if the primary armament is reliable able to do damage. Myoko's torps are awesome but the arcs (and WG's strange decision that torps only run in a straight line from the launchers and can't be set on a course) make them hard/risky to use in offensive scenarios but make an easy and efficient tool in ambush and retreat scenarios.

I guess because ppl are interested in the ship itself not only the game stats...

Hehe... Ich mag die Kreuzer ganz gern. Und von allen möglichen Charakteristiken bei den BBs ist Überlebensfähig doch schon die passendste :-) Der Rest ist dann halt Werte von rechts nach links schieben bis es einigermaßen fair ist. Wg. Zerstörern: ich sehe keine klare Charakteristik aber bei den DDs scheint es generell gerade eher Richtung Allrounder zu gehen. Die Werte versprechen jedenfalls schon mal eine ganze Menge :-)

Ich fand die WOT Missionen gruselig und sie sehr schnell (mit dem ganzen Spiel) weggelegt (überflüssig zu erwähnen, dass ich das StuG4 nicht bekommen habe). Hoffentlich wird die Shinonome Mission interessanter und motivierender!

Not sure if ppl would like that. But 8km torps seem like quite a strong second weapon. If the dispersion is really unreliable the boat might force you to use them. Still I have doubts if that's the way to balance the Panzercruisers (and if it turns out to be the play style)

The torpedoes look indeed surprisingly decent. Stats-wise the GER DDs don't seem to leave much to be desired but of course I am curious how that turns out once we get our hands on them. Btw: yes, the Kaiserliche Marine boats have single launchers with limited traverse almost straight forward :-)

"Pocket Battleship" is a Brit propaganda term. It just sounds scary nothing more, The important point ppl are missing when looking st the ship is the intended role. The ships were meant to be long range commerce raiders = cruisers. The only peculiaritiy was a somewhat oversized main battery. Battlecreuisers on the other hand were intended as heavy scouts for the battle fleet and to hunt down said commerce raiders. EDIT: indeed Battlecruisers and Panzer Cruisers shared some design features and both classes hoped to run away from the big guys - so in this respect they were built based on the same (false) assumption :-)

Darth_Glorious meint übrigens Scharnhorst Streung und weniger pen. EDIT: auf welche Entfernung? Scharnhorst hat 20km Reichweite, Graf Spee 16km

Thanks mate! Sounds like a pretty "special" ship. I can foresee a lot of whining. Am I the only one who thinks the torps are a little too strong in comparison?

That's what I thought. Also explains the strong torps. Do you know about the arcs or in other words how much of your broadside needs to be shown to fire at least six rounds rather than three? Thx btw
