Flamu released another video on her and imo pretty much nailed it. If she would have a little additional tankiness she would be good. At the moment her strengths are not so relevant/a little gimmicky while she is lacking the bread and butter strengths she would need (and Amagi actually has).

Ich bin eh ein großer Fan der Blücher und hätte sie sehr gerne Spiel! Ich stimme zu, Stufe 3 Schlachtschiff klingt richtig wobei die hohe Kadenz mit der (ziemlich guten) Yorck-AP und 26kn unter Umständen mörderisch für die T3 Kreuzer sein könnte. Müsste man mal testen :-) Panzerung sollte nicht das Thema sein (anwinkeln macht schwere Panzerung im Spiel ja größtenteils überflüssig). Auf alle Fälle vielen Dank für den schönen Artikel! Ein wirklich schönes Schiff!

@Historynerd don't get me wrong. I don't mind her to be a good ship. After all ppl will shell out money for her. But I am against the current (a bit overboarding) powercreep and higher Sigma is certainly a VERY strong point. It might look like a small thing but it is not - especially if you have 10 guns. Remember König's 2.0? I simply fear that this Ship has too many strengths compared to her weaknesses. HE MUST go - it is stupid, braindead and annoying on a BB! Leave it to the cruisers please. Even without she is a more accurate and stealthier Kongo. I would still think that is a tad too much. I hate the concealment on BBs anyway - so I would ax that as well. What would be left? A fast, very well handling ship that rewards good angling and has excellent AP firepower with good accuracy.

I started watching Flamu's new video but was surprised that he mentioned that Sigma governs horizontal dispersion... I am sure Sub_Octavian confirmed that this is not the case and that Sigma governs the grouping within the target ellipse. The ellipse is built with each firing order and made up of two values horizontal and vertical dispersion (only the horizontal value displayed in port). The higher the Sigma, the more the shots are likely to be concentrated in the Center. Apart from that the ships looks still a tad too strong. Look at Kongo, Königsberg, Omaha..... I think she should get very bad HE shells if at all. The last thing we need is more HE spamming BBs. And toning down EITHER concealment or Sigma - both is powercreep / P2W imo.

RN BBs are unfortunately terribly designed (HE, fire chance, concealment and invulnerable citadels). EXACTLY the opposite of what the Meta would need. I for one - along with many others here - like the game in general but whatever WG was smoking when they designed this line - please fix this first and second never smoke this again...

Problem is now either way ppl are unhappy: - if they keep retarded-OP-point-and-click-idiot-ships serious players will be angry - if they nerf this crap the idiots who spent real money to free XP the line will be angry (and all idiots who need to learn more than point and click to win) That's the dilemma with releasing clearly OP ships in the first place. And sorry, I don't buy this "we thought she would be ok" thing. WG knew VERY well how badly OP she and some other ships of this line would be. I think they were after some easy money - even at the cost of potentially killing the game longer term.

I need happy that the concerns are heard finally and that there is a discussion about this matter. I think the high fire chance was not a good idea as it only kills fun for everyone else and dumbing down the experience for the RN BB. Orion is similarly OP - just nobody seems to care about T4. If you are looking at ways to improve the game experience please also consider axing the HE shells on RN BBs (their fire chance is at least twice as high as healthy combined with a ridiculous alpha). HE + BBs = dumb + uninspiring

Great range, strong accuracy, very good AP, decent handling, pretty damn strong mid/short range AA, a fast heal and no citadel (which I would adjust as well so it can be hit): Heck even if they leave the lol-heal to make her "special".

I even took the time to quickly spot check your wall of text. You state for every single trait "well it is good...". You know, a ship that has only strengths is OP. And Exocet's summary is also my impression. You like your retarded OP ship and try to defend it eventhough it is rather obvious. RN BBs need a serious nerf to their HE shells (2/3 alpha and 1/2 fire chnance sounds right), concealment in higher tiers and get rid of the lol-heal. Voila.

Why? RN BBs are horrible designed. The dumbest you can ever get. Point and Click - with a couple of OP ships in the mix. How does your answer help here? I mean we want a fun game - dumbing it down is sad. Just look at Warplanes and you have your answer. While OP is clearly ranting he has a point. The design of this line is devastating for the further development of the game

Ich denke auch Take. Man kann ja sogar die Streuungskurve der jeweiligen Linie beibehalten (also in dem Fall DE BBs) und einfach nur mit dem Sigma etwas hochgehen, damit wenigstens 1-2 Murmeln treffen (vermutlich 2.0-2.1). Die Ladezeit würde ich evtl leicht buffen (27sec) und der 17cm MA, sofern man einen Ausbauzustand aus der Zeit nimmt mit 4km base festlegen. Schon hätte man ein lustiges T2 Schiff. Noch besser fände ich aber die modernisierte Variante auf T4 mit Flak und eben jenem Sigma-Buff. Schlecht wäre sie wohl immer noch aber ich würde sie glatt kaufen.
