ENDLICH!!!! Ashitaka ist kein Fantasieschiff sondern die "richtige" Amagi. Ashitaka war der ursprüngliche Name der Takao und das 3D Modell ist wesentlich historischer als alles andere im Spiel. Der zusammengelegte Schornstein ist eher vom KII-Entwurf aber ich meine, er wurde auch für die Amagis in Erwägung gezogen. Wo der 330mm Gürtel herkommt weiß ich aber nicht. Sie hatte eigentlich 254mm. EGAL: endlich eine wirklich schöne AMAGI!!!! Und die könnt ihr mir auch nicht mies machen!

I feel the same about the amount of paper and fantasy but I think I am not as strict as you are... Ashitaka is pretty close though - laid down but not completed. Tone would be great though !!!

Because WG is obsessed with World War 2 fantasies. Rather than taking the actual ship they used the basis of it, bastardized her into a gap (T8) and invented a fully fictional refit which changed literally EVERYTHING this ship is, including armour layout, superstructure and general appearance, just everything. They just made up a fantasy ships which is more streamlined within the tier. I got over this behaviour but I prefer the actual ships over these bastardized fantasy vessels any day. That is why I am really happy they bring Ashitaka now!

Hehe :-) Well they are selling me a ship that will be balanced at its tier and fun to play. The stock hull was hard work and hardly fun due to the artificial nerfs they apply to force progression. So I get your point but they don’t sell only the hull (which is indeed already existing) but a different experience which is key to me and that is why I like the concept of down tiered premiums. Even if it means I need to pay for these hulls. There is one other benefit of premiums: they are not getting nerfed. You get what you pay for in a highly fluid environment. A plus in my opinion

No because these stock hulls didn’t serve any purpose. Players just skipped them but for that you don’t need to create an essentially totally different ship including an expensive 3D model with detailed armor layout. WG noticed that and didn’t include separate stock hulls in the new models anymore. Apart from tiny details like some additional antennas, etc So reusing these existing ships is essentially the best idea WG had in a while! Bashing it is counter productive and shows a lack of oversight. It is at the moment pretty much the only way to meaningful include WW1 era ships in the messed up powerprogression.

Yes she looks pretty much like the old A-hull. Reload seems to be better though - 31s vs 35 of the old stock ship. Can’t remember the rudder shift shift but it was artificially horrible. 14.9 + Module sounds doable. I think she is pretty spot on tbh EDIT: considering power-creep I would appreciate a tad extra sigma (like 1.9) to further emphasize her role: fast and punchy strike power but squishy

I WANT HER! and she is less fantasy than 50% of the ships in game. The model you see is pretty close the original Amagi Battlecruiser design as laid down but canceled before completion due to the WNT

Nö zu stark sicher nicht. Sie hat die Typ88 Mutsu AP Granaten, die sind schon auf T6 schlecht. Aber 10 gleichzeitig in der Luft kompensieren das hoffentlich ausreichend für T7.

Das Modell ist soweit ich beurteilen kann nicht schlecht. Die zusammengelegten Schornsteine kommen - wenn ich mich richtig erinnere - vom Entwurf der KII aber ich habe irgendwo gelesen, dass bei einem der letzten Designs der Amagis auch über eine Zusammenlegung der Schornsteine nachgedacht worden ist. Kann aber leider nicht sagen wo und ob das stimmt. Aber so oder so - der Schornstein sieht a***geil aus finde ich :-) Ich meine, WG hat auch ein paar leichte Geschütze dazu erfunden aber das finde ich unproblematisch weil wir ja gar nicht wissen, ob die Japaner nicht Mitte der 1920er wenn die Schiffe fertig geworden wären nicht doch noch ein/zwei Ballermänner hinzugefügt hätten. Hauptsache der Gesamteindruck stimmt

Es gibt ein paar Enthusiasten, die gern ein bisschen mehr Dreadnought Era hätten - für dieses kleine Gallische Dorf, umringt von WW2 Camps, ist Ashitaka Balsam auf die Seele! Ich freue mich sehr auf sie!

I am pretty sure we get exactly this. I remember being top tier in the old Amagi A-Hull - required some more brain than some recent brain dead additions to the game (yes I am looking at you, Royal Point and Click Navy BBS...) but it was fun. Fighting Yammies and such was horrible though but downtiering fixes that. i think the lovely Ashitaka will be a true and pure battlecruiser experience and somehow a mix between Mutsu and Kii minus AA :-) plus she is in a sweet MM spot at T7

Obwohl ich im Moment nicht viel spiele habe ich mal die Julio Cesare geholt. Gefällt mir gut soweit und ist mein erster Italiener :-)

Also ich finde die Idee mit Nerf + T9 ziemlich schlecht. Sollen sie doch ehrlich sein und das Ding auf T10 lassen.

Hab noch nicht geschaut - 0/2/3 spricht mich nicht so an. Wie ist das 2/0/3? Wieder AP? Wieder so blöder Delay? Und ist der Drop kreisrund oder oval?

Und ich würde mich freuen, wenn sich solche Themen nicht in ein Computerspiel verirren würden. Ihr merkt aber schon, dass WowS ein Spiel ist oder? Und das sollte es auch bleiben.

Da hat aber einer noch nicht das neueste Memo gelesen... CV Rework ist erfolgreich Implementiert. T4 und T5 droppen nur noch Auto und es hagelt Premium CVs. Ein gutes Jahr für Carrier :-) /Sarkasmus aus
