Small positive update from my sunny vacation in the Indian Ocean: Ashitaka will be entering testing in 0.6.13 - finally a new dreadnought - and even a beautiful Battlecruiser :-)

What bonus does the Cartoon camo give? And was the green camo also included in the bundle?

Wtf - so the IJN BBs are the last BBs with citadels???? That stinks

The hate for Fake ships comes from the fact that you alter the ships in such a way they are barely recognizable. It pretty much started with the German low tier BBs you completely ruined for me with these fictional refits. I don't care too much about ships that were just a rough design sketch but the ships that actually existed and have been fictionally refit (such as Kaiser, König, Bayern) are a huge game breaker for me. Plus - fact is you can easily see that these ships are not actual ships - they unfortunately look very artificial. And: it seems there are more fictional than actual ships.

While I don't like this cartoon camo either - this is probably just the top bundle again, right? I mean we've seen the announcement with a good looking Mutsu style camo?

Wouldn't mind an R-Class. But rather a T6 - she'd be a tad too strong for T5. Her real life weaknesses don't mean anything in WOWS - she would be at least as good as QE just a little slow. Which isn't a big problem if you head for the Center of the map like Arizona. That's what she'd be - an Arizona kind of ship (maybe supercharged shells). Hope we see her some day at least she looks far better than these Queen Anne's mansion ships.

For me it does - it's breaking immersion. Not if there are one or two never completed or paper ships but the sheer amount of fantasy boaties bothers me. WG should ask the question if something is wrong with their power progression / tiering system if 6 out of 8 ships need to be artificially refit/altered. And it's not like s specific problem of the French tree - it's the same with the German and British Branch.

Don't like this cartoonish stuff either but to be fair there is an option to switch these off and Ashitaka also comes with a green, very good looking camo

Finally a "real" ship among all these cartoonish Mickey Mouse Disneyland vessels. +1 for Bretagne and Richelieu Big big minus for the rest - sorry but all these are #FakeShips. Is it me or is it getting worse with the amount of fantasy ...?

Leute, Ashitaka ist halt kein Allerwelts-Straßenköter sondern ein waschechter WW1 Schlachtkreuzer!!! Das muss man zu schätzen wissen! Wer den 100. Standard-Abklatsch sucht sollte die Finger von ihr lassen und lieber Missouri, Bama und Massachusetts nehmen. Zum Thema Kii vs Amagi da ich beide habe: ja, Amagi ist trotz dünnerem Gürtelpanzer (254mm vs 292mm) deutlich robuster, was an einer deutlich stärkeren Böschung (ich meine 4x dicker) und den Torpedowülsten liegt. Daher frisst die Kii deutlich mehr kritische Treffer und dazu noch spürbar schlechter liegende Groupings Dank 1.7 Sigma. Vorteile sind Premium XP Bonus, völlig überflüssige AA und Torpedos, diean alle Jubeljahre mal an den Mann bringen kann.

HE in general is fine. It gives smaller guns a tool to deal with bigger and stronger enemies. The problem with RN BBs is that now even BBs get this tool on top of all the other strengths they have. RN BBs don't have any real weakness as far as I have played them. In case they get focused they can cloak again and retire to a safer place to heal up. Plus firing the first salvo from concealment is a huge advantage to begin with. And on top they have this HE which has a ridiculous fire chance so DCP can't really counter it. Even worse it doesn't matter where HE hits or at what angle. It is just point & click. Just too much annoying stuff in one line - it is pretty much a low-skill-high-reward-line. Simply bad game design. WG *Edited this line big time.

Thanks! Don't have the H4 yet. I didn't notice the French BBs get speed-boost. Not sure how I feel about it - would have been a good gimmick for the Battlecruisers...

Nein, das ist die "eigentliche" Amagi als T7 Premium. Das Ding auf T8 ist eine WG Fantasie-Kreation wie sie im 2 WK ausgesehen haben könnte. Ziemlicher Murks wenn du mich fragst. Ashitaka ist die ursprüngliche Schlachtkreuzer-Erscheinung der Amagi mit einigen kleineren künstlerischen Freiheiten wie 25mm Flaks und dem Kii Schornstein. Die Tarnung ist irgendsoein Anime-Zeugs, kann man aber ausschalten

Hmm the artwork is edited: not my cup of tea again but do we know what the XP bonus is? Maybe I can mod the camo and keep the bonus... EDIT: does the large bundle include both camos? I mean the cartoonish and the actual geeen one? EDIT 2: because for this beauty I am inclined to pick one of the larger bundles :-)

All these fantasy refits look SOOOO bad - sorry! Lyon seems to be from the same team as the already terrible Kaiser... Absolutely atrocious! Honestly - I don't get why you keep doing this. I highly doubt anyone appreciates these fantasy refits...
