RE: GK10 or GK4245 or any of those 42cm armed monsters. While they might look remotely similar to Amagi on first glamce they were very different and rather well protected fast battleships. The German Navy was very conservative, including gun caliber and the 42cm gun (still a relatively high speed one) was quite a big step forward. The current German T8 BB uses a slightly more modern 38cm gun - but still a 38cm gun - just like Baden. Putting a 42cm gun GK design into T8 is like putting Baden into T3 because she is a dreadnought. The 42cm gun - would it ever come to WOWS - would use a WW2 shell and would be not much different to FdGs guns (same V0). Considering this would be the faster and assumed lighter armed line there is no way they put a T9 fire power into T8. They rather put it into T10 and have the lower strike power compensated by higher speed. RE: J3 - if you follow above logic J3 COULD be a T8 but considering she'd have the same guns as Hood and Warspite she would be horribly undergunned. So I'd rather pick the one tier lower gun and mount it onto my faster line - in this case I'd pick Nelson's guns (which were rather terrible in real life but are ok in wOWS) - voila you have your G3.

Hmmm did you try angling around 30-45 degrees rather than nose in? I mean her 25mm bow won't stop any BB shell 380mm and more which is almost all BBs she will face?

L20a would be glorious :-) I'd prefer her to be a German Mutsu - just better protected - in a WW1 config at T6 Tegethoff in the German tree..? Not sure how our neighbours in the south feel about that :-)

I don't like the way normal catapult planes work really - but giving them sectors or something would do it for me.

Queen Mary, Seydlitz, Yavuz and Lützow could all fill very well the T4 premium spot if WG ever cares about the golden age of naval warfare...

Hmmm not a huge surprise and actually pretty accurately portraying the Amagi design which was to be a gigantic glass cannon.... If that can be frustrating to play in WOWS? Likely yes. Yet it seems like Mutsu has the same general problem. Do you think it is worse? Also, T7 is a relatively sweet spot in MM - does that pay off for Ashitaka?

Moment, nur dir Fighter sind 9, oder? DBs doch sicher wieder 5? RE nicht überall sein: nee aber mit 9 Fightern kann ich den Bombern wenigstens den Weg zum Ziel freiballern. Am schlimmsten an den GZ Fightern fand ich den geringen Schaden beim Strafen gegen US Fighter. Neun Stück von den Gurken sollten einiges wegholzen können :-)

Well they listened to the complaints about subpar fighters. Having 9 of them in one flight sounds interesting... looking forward to fry out ;-)

They managed to compose a line with 3, likely 5 paper ships. Omg - Lyon and Normandy look atrocious. Typical WG uninformed intern napkin sketching. These guys don't seem to have any clue about the ships they put into their game. And that's not artistic licence- that is unprofessional. 100k horsepower into a Lyon hull? Would love to see that - BBN-1...? The silver line among all this shite is for me the elegant Richelieu and the cute chubby Bretagne :-) Btw what is T4 if Bretagne is 5...?

Why do you consider Kii a failure?

If she'd have an enlarged mini-map by default it would be enough to direct her planes through that mini-map as scouts. Plane type game-wise could be fighter - but if she could scout multiple (say two) spots at once she'd be very powerful in supporting her own DDs. Plus this would capture her intended real role and translate that into game mechanics :-)

Well. GK10 would be far too powerful at T8 - potentially even in a 1920 dreadnought config. And we know WG will bastardize her into a WW2 vodka fantasy anyway so she'd be T10 most likely with a slightly less powerful design at T9. K2/3 would be the same story - fantasy ships loosely based on said designs and likely T10 as well. F3 seems a bit weak tbh though. As a Brit T7 you could either pick the Queen Anne's Castle'd rebuilt Admiral or the similar J3. If you really want to push the "worse fire power for more speed card" you could, could even push these to T8 and have a G3 at T9. But then the line gets heavily undergunned at higher tiers. Not sure if that would be fun. For Japan I'd rather not see a split line as both would be almost exclusively paper / napkin designs. There are some nice designs, such as the unnamed folloe up the KIIs (Battleship No13 and 14) and Tosa is still missing but a full line would be very sketchy.

Hmmm not sure how I feel about the coming French BBs. I really like my Dunkerque and am pretty sure I'll like Richelieu. But T3, 6 and 7 being fake / fantasy leaves a bad taste. It's not like the French did not have any ships. On top this speed boost which is clearly gimmicky only. I am a little disappointed although I will probably play some of them.

That would be ideal! Don't mind spending the money but don't like the camo itself :-(

Ich spiele sie der Optik wegen mit den 20cm Röhren. Ich finde ihre exzessive Verwundbarkeit eher nervig, Atago spielt sich mit dem Heal und besseren Torpedowinkeln einfach deutlich angenehmer. Mir leuchtet zudem nicht ein, warum sie mit den 20ern keine bessere Reichweite bekommt. Ich finde das Schiff sehr hübsch aber fahren mit ihr harte Arbeit. Da die Linie mittlerweile ja recht alt ist und ziemlich gepowercreept wurde, würde ich mir folgendes für die kleine wünschen: 1) Heal wie Atago 2) Torpedos nach vorn abfeuern (Gyro) 3) kleinen Reichweitenbonus auf die 20er (so 1-2km) oder wahlweise den Aufklärungsflieger Die Reichweite ist beim TX Gecampe, in dem man ja meist landet schon angenehm

I am actually looking forward to her :-) Not sure if I buy her as I already have three T8 Premium BBs and hardly need another one but I do like her. So never say never

T6 and 7 are fake anyway so WG does what they want again. No or un-hitable citadels on BBs are a bad idea though. Looks like for this line will be only Richelieu and Bretagne

T10: GK Design 8x42, eg GK4245 / K2 or K3 Of course we would "steal" Gneisenau from the BB line but could backfill with L20a
