No just no! Orion is the natural T4, Colossus is a 3.5 like Helgoland. The reason Orion is retarded OP is none of her historical traits (she was a bad ship actually) it the idiotic WG balancing giving her super range and super shells. Plain vanilla without gimmicks she'd be good!

As said, the initial release was a mistake but how it was handled afterwards was pretty good imo. Ppl will still be able to return the ship after testing but I doubt many will do. Same as for MK.

Don't agree. CVs are in a horrible state - tiny elite almost nobody interested. Using the release disaster as a way to get a much larger audience into testing is smart - even if these will be a lot of average Joes. And the ppl involved will like the ship - they have been part of it's development. So while the rushed release was a mistake I don't get the bashing afterwards. I think WG did well in managing this PR nightmare and got some very wide variety of test results this way. +1

Sorry then I misread your comment. Agree with that and like that on the IJN ships as they have truckloads of raw firepower. I also like the undergunned tanks of the German line but not both in combination. Agree on braindead ships such as HE point and click spammers.

I am good with Alsace though - same as H-Class. But I am afraid of the potential T10 having seen GK and Conqueror - both are atrocious.

Ja. Kann doch auch einen Anfänger CV geben. Außerdem ist das Zielen (inkl das ach so elitäre DD-Torpedos ins Wasser schmeißen) bei den übrigen Klassen nicht viel anspruchsvoller. Ich verstehe zwar warum der kleine Kreis der CV Elite auf das Schiff herabblickt aber im Sinne einer Verbreiterung der CV Spielerbasis ist sie sicher nicht verkehrt.

Ihr könnt mich hassen aber ich finde die letzten beiden Versionen ganz spaßig! Eine Kopie anderer CVs fände ich blöd und das Schiff ist so ganz gut spielbar soweit ich das beurteilen kann. Die Jäger sind zwar immer noch schlecht aber 9 auf mal Strafen so einiges weg. Und die Bomber haben mit dem runden Abwurf etwas eigenes.

Frankenstein ships

Mutsu seems to be a "either-love-or-hate" ship. Her accuracy is bad at short ranges but very good starting at mid range. In fact mid-range is her sweet spot as the Type 88 shells are a bit lacking in the penetration department. However they are on par with Fuso's and Bayern's plus the overmatch of 410mm. Ger torpedoes are situational - granted but I did have some remarkable dogfights and these fish can deliver impressive damage peaks at short ranges given their exceptional reload (faster than the guns...). So while I see why ppl dislike Mutsu she is an extremely fun ship but she takes a while to appreciate as some typical IJN BB behaviours are being punished. Especially the weak armour is something you need to get used to.

And this is where we disagree. We haven't been able to play the ship before for free. The A-hull concept was to artificially make these hulls as terrible as possible (eg. by atrocious ruddershift with no whatsoever connection to any logic) to make ppl progress or even free XP. That said, I hope Ashitaka will be a fun ship to play in stark contrast to the old A-hull. Her character will be good hitting power on a squishy hull - a true Battlecruiser and a pretty good representation of what the Amagi would have been. The fantasy ship at T8 is artificially overbuffed by lightyears in terms of survivability to compete with Bismarck and NorCa. Totally absurd - but ok. And that WG is able to reuse a model that has been created with a lot of effort is positive imo. Long story short, even if I believe she'll be a little cheaper than Hoody and Sharny my opinion is she'd be still worth it. @Metzel_Tom ich habe mich schon genug über die Deutschen T4-6 BBs ausgelassen und Fame nicht wieder an. Nur soviel: die Refits sind weder schlüssig noch gut gemacht. Sie sind einfach komplett billiger Durchfall und absolut erbärmlich unprofessionell. Mit Amagi habe ich auch einige (aber kleinere) Probleme. Bei Lyon sind wir uns übrigens einig. Das Ding ist wieder komplette Stümperei.

Lyon ist ziemlich die gleiche Logik wie Amagi (sogar T8) und Bayern. Von daher verstehe ich die Aufregung um Lyon nicht. Auch was das "Dummheit" nicht gegen dich sondern WG - falls das missverständlich war. Zu deinem Punkt: alles manageable. Die Zeit im Spiel ist relativ nebensächlich. Man hätte Bayern und QE einfach im 1918 Zustand auf T5 stellen können und Warspite als Rebuilt auf T6.

Ich weiß nicht - kann weder mit den Schiffen noch dem DWT Gimmick etwas anfangen. Egal hab noch genug Schiffe/Linien, die gespielt werden wollen. Und die Frenchies stehen ja auch vor der Tür.

So einen Kommentar hatten wir länger nicht :-) Es gibt da nur zwei Möglichkeiten: entweder hat WG die Turpitz im letzten Patch (mal wieder) heimlich generft oder alle anderen Schiffe sind EINDEUTIG zu stark! Spaß beiseite. Die Tirpitz ist seit ihrem Erscheinen ein tolles Schiff, das unheimlich viel Spaß macht und mit den längeren Sekundären auch dem Powercreep trotzt. Hab sie schon seit ewigen Zeiten und den Kauf nie bereut.
