Oh man oh man. Diese Debatte mit einigen zufällig präsenten Nerds um eine Flagge von vor 100 Jahren bringt mich ins Grübeln über den Gemütszustand unserer Zeitgenossen - und zwar unter der Oberfläche. Faktisch ist die Sache relativ klar. Die Flagge gehört historisch auf die Low-Tier Schiffe und der Besitz oder die zur Schau Stellung eben jener Flagge genügen weder dem Tatbestand einer Straftat noch einer Ordnungswidrigkeit. Laut Wikipedia, aus der einige Experten hier offenbar ihre Empörung ziehen, bringen einige Leute die Flagge FÄLSCHLICHERWEISE mit dem Nationalsozialismus in Verbindung - eine Verbindung, die NICHT besteht (hint: informieren schadet nicht). Ich fasse zusammen: in Abwesenheit jeglicher faktischer Grundlagen wird die Kaiserflagge mit äußerster Emotionalität in eine faktisch völlig unbegründete Nähe zum heutigen rechten Rand gerückt. Was wiederum in der Folge als Begründung angenommen werden soll, die Flagge im Spiel durch eine entschärfte Nazi-Flagge zu ersetzen. Da fehlen mir ehrlich gesagt 90 Pfennig an der Mark. Insgesamt ist die politische Einfärbing eines simplen Details mehr als fehl am Platz. Entweder ich diskutiere mit einem Troll oder die Leute werden immer dümmer hier.

Scheinst es nicht zu kapieren. Soll mir egal sein. Und es geht nicht um Besessenheit sondern darum, dass es einfach faktisch falsch ist. Und ich habe keine einzige plausible Erklärung in diesem emotional total überhitzten Fred gelesen. Von dir am allerwenigsten da du nur irgendwas über meinen Avatar schreibst. Mit dir kann man vielleicht nicht zivilisiert kommunizieren. Soll mir aber ebenfalls egal sein. Von den anderen Wutbürgern hätte ich gern kurz und knackig gewusst, wo nun das Problem sein soll sofern WG die Flagge ins Spiel packt. Ist mir immer noch nicht klar. Und dazu möchte ich nicht 11 Seiten Proletenkauderwelsch lesen sondern eine präzise Summary. Kann doch nicht so schwer sein.

TL;DR: „don’t touch my precious ship“. I get that you like the Conq for obvious reasons but this is not how multiplayer games work. There needs to be a certain degree of balance and this balance is questioned at the moment. And in Conq’s case not only balance but also experience (the ship has a toxic influence on the games she is on). Hope that helps to understand. Btw I will ignore the desperate off topic accusations you tried to shell out.

Nö. Mir geht es einfach um die richtige Flagge an den entsprechenden Schiffen. Keine Ahnung, was du da alles rein interpretierst aber evtl solltest du dir Hilfe suchen. Mich kotzt es genauso an, wenn andere Details an den Schiffen falsch sind aber dieses Detail ist offensichtlich ein "WG will einfach nur nicht". Ich finde, dass alle Schiffe ganz einfache ihre richtige Flagge haben sollten mit Ausnahme der, die wirklich verboten sind. Keine Ahnung, warum ich mir die Zeit nehme, dir diese Banalität zu erklären aber bitte schön. Und wenn dich ein Detail wie eine Flagge derart aufstachelt solltest du dich ernsthaft fragen, ob solche Spiele das richtige für dich sind. Das ist nicht die Realität hier und man muss das unterscheiden können. Fällt dir möglicherweise schwer - nicht böse gemeint. PS: und da deine Schlussfolgerung auf "Stellvertreterkrieg" herauslief vermute ch du führst selbst einen :-)

Nee danke. Wie hier schon gesagt wurde: die Flagge ist weder anrüchig noch verboten und nur weil ein paar frustrierte Deppen damit herumlaufen bringen andere frustrierte Deppen sie mit einem Verbot in Verbindung. Beachtlich unterdurchschnittliche kognitive Leistung. Herzlichen Glückwunsch. Nichts gegen dich aber der Quatsch wird auch nicht besser wenn ich mir den Thread nochmal durchlese. Käse bleibt es ja doch. Notfalls ginge ja sogar noch Take's Vorwchlag mit der "entschärften" (was eigentlich entschärfen?) Variante. WG hat einfach keinen Bock das ist alles. Ich finde es ehrlich gesagt beleidigend, dass auf den HSF Schiffen eine Pseudo-Naziflagge weht. Was WG mit der Pleitegeier-Flagge macht ist mir ehrlich gesagt wumpe. Die darf man ja wirklich nicht einfach frei verwenden.

Nö hab ich nicht :-) Ist aber ja nicht neu und jedesmal kommt einer und zitiert den Absatz, in dem steht, dass die Kaiserflagge von der Polizei beschlagnahmt werden kann wenn sie hetzerisch eingesetzt wird. Das trifft aber auf JEDEN Gegenstand (inklusive meiner Tante) zu und ist deshalb für die Diskussion völlig irrelevant. Die Faktenlagr hat sich seit dem Erscheinen der Deutschen Kreuzer im Oktober 2015 nicht geändert - die Argumente beider Seiten auch nicht. Es ist und bleibt komplett willkürlich und das ärgert mich. Besonders auf König Albert, Nassau, Stock-Bayern und Emden, da diese ja in ihrer "richtigen" Konfiguration sind. Die Wahlmöglichkeit der Flagge pro Spieler und Schiff wie mit den Panasia DDs ins Spiel gebracht würde das Problem übrigens lösen. Die Spieler hier wie du lassen sich halt nur alles gefallen, dann besteht bei WG auch kein Handlingsfruck

Nö, die Gründe sind einfach nur nicht stichhaltig sondern willkürlich. Aber wir sind alle heilfroh, dass WG dich hat. Jeder braucht einen WG-Versteher, der jubelnd jeden Quark aufsaugt (egal wie sinnvoll).

Wow long text and to be perfectly honest I didn't read all of it. I think the game has a certain apparently relatively stable population but to become much bigger it would need to attract a wider audience. The setting is a little niche and ColonelPete mentioned the mein point why the biggest group of potential players is underrepresented - the younger ones prefer a faster pace (like in a shooter). In in my opinion there are also some problems with the game within the target group - it's just Tonks-on-Water. WG didn't really dare to make a Naval game but copied most of WoT to a blue surface. Including the overall gameplay, angling and so on. Which is a pity. - they didn't implement true team play elements but stayed with the solo warrior concept. All players get rewarded for is dealing damage. WG didn't even try to create incentives and game modes in a way to support fleet tactics. Team play elements can happen but mostly on individual initiative - with their radical departure from historical accuracy they furthermore alienated the history buffs who are mostly around for their interest in ships. - monotone gameplay. Always the same: enter battle, deal damage, repeat. No objectives, no flexibility. Boring. So - in a nutshell the product isn't overly attractive to action oriented gamers due to the nature of the setting and ppl who love are there because they love the setting get pushed off due to WG's gimmicky fantasy path. I guess quite a few will stick around for a while but mostly due to lack of alternatives. Btw. I played WOT but stopped as the game is incredibly bad and boring.

Yep no argument here. Orion is straight out better than Ishizuchi in all but speed. I hen removed the experienced captain from her as she doesn't need it. She one-shots cruisers reliably with HE due to caliber + 1/4 rule and hilarious accuracy. This ship is so broken it hurts. It's even much better than Nikolai. Iron Dude and QE are fine I'd say - still unnecessary gimmicky but at least ok power wise. And from there it goes downhill again with Conq being the pinnacle. She'd got: + HE alpha (no brain) + HE pen (no brain) + HE fire chance (no brain) + very good AP + gun range + gun accuracy + concealment + super Heal + underwater Citadel - armour somewhat lacking - HP pool Just looking at this list would tell you that she is holding too many strengths at the same time. She should either keep her offensive potential and get her defensive potential nerfed (raise citadel to Minotaur level, double detection range and kill super Heal) or keep her defensive traits and nerf her offensive ones (divide fire chance and HE alpha by 2, reduce range and accuracy). The combination of all traits is the problem. And the fact that WG balances around gimmicks such as BB HE shells.

Hmmm torps that ONLY hit BBs...? Not sure if I like the concept but it could be fun. I mean there are still plenty of BBs in high tier so a lack of targets shouldn't be a problem. But still - this whole one-trick-pony thingy... I don't know.

Wer hat das behauptet? Das Spiel wäre auch nicht unspielbar wenn die Schiffe durch identisch aussehende grüne Quader ersetzt würden.

OMG liebe Leute. Es geht hier nicht um irgendwelche Nazis sondern darum, dass die Kaiserflagge weder belastet noch verboten noch sonstwie problematisch ist. Und dass WG sie nicht ins Spiel nimmt ist wieder so eine "2017 wird das Jahr des Carriers" oder "wir kümmern uns um die BB overpopulation" Geschichte. Es ist einfach unfassbar sinnlos - deshalb fällt es auch schwer das gut zu finden. Ich hätte wesentlich weniger Probleme mit der Thematik wenn da irgendein stichhaltiger Grund hinter stände. Und denkt bitte daran, dass es hier um ein Conputerspiel geht und lasst das Politik-Geseiere hier raus!

Ishizuchi has nice HE yes - but pays for it with no AA and a high vulnerability plus she can be seen from the moon. RN Monkey BBs can cloak if needed and can't be citadelled. That's a slight difference.

I am trying to say ppl here are a bit spoiled by OP premiums and kind of expect very strong premiums now going forward. Which is a dangerous path. That is all. RE: Roma - well haven't played her yet and can't say I am hugely hyped. And can't judge the impact of having normal Sigma rather than overbuffed Sigma. Doesn't sound like a biggy to me but hey. Agree on concealment though. No clue why WG keeps pushing cloaking BBs since a while. Absolute nonsense that started with the RN BBs. And IJN BBs - no. Kii is a fun ship and the difference to Amagi's 1.8 Sigma isn't exactly monstrous. And she can deal massive damage spikes in CQB with torps which make up for some slightly worse shot patterns for me at least (don't like border hugging anyway - makes me aggressive. And at mid ranges and closer she is more than capable)

And that is where we don't agree. This only leads to more and faster power creep. I think it is ok to have a ship with strengths and weaknesses but not all premiums should be completely OP like GC or so. Guns average, protection and speed good? Do we really need more?

1.8 is straight average. How do her dispersion values compare to others? Whining about 1.8 Sigma is a bit over the top imo. And don't draw the GC card - she is still straight OP (even after the sooo evil nerf).

Gneisenau at T7 also has only 6 guns. And the Brit 38cm guns are actually decent so she should be good. T7 could either be a refit Admiral or J3.

T6 is spot on. One less turret but superior speed compared to QE and no armour to speak of. I think we will see at least the first BC line in 2018 either DE or UK. Repulse would be an obvious premium candidate whereas Renown in her Queen Anne's rebuilt form would be a logical tree ship.

AP is much stronger. Should be the default, especially in DE BBs. In case you face to heavy armour aim higher - just below the deck. The armour is much thinner there and you get pen damage which is still much higher than HE. HE is an exception against DDs and stubbornly bow on BBs.
