Yes, I think I read the same. A lot of nations applied such concept so eventually I guess we might even see two DD lines for some nations. WG indicated before they would like to go that way with the Russian DDs as well - not sure how that matches with the first split. Certainly Russia, UK and France applied this concept. Germany used mostly small Torpedoboots (whereas the KM later did wanky stuff with changing that doctrine into deploying relatively unbalanced ships as DDs) and the IJN used cruisers as DD leaders as far as I know. So yea, I’m somewhat curious how Aigle plays out

Habe auch CE und finde die Tarnung eigentlich ok - nicht herausragend aber durchaus in Ordnung. Mein Problem sind eher die Knallerbsenkanonen, die machen einfach zu wenig Bumms auf gegnerischen Zerstörern. Wenn man durch den Stahlhagel im Cap herumkurvt hat man ja meist nicht ewig Zeit, den Gegner zu erledigen. Da würde ich mir mehr Dakka wünschen. Besonders die HE ist mau. Spaß macht sie trotzdem, nur Radar stinkt.

Well Secondaries are not super effective anyway - I guess it’s more the nice scenery they create when attacking. However the manual secondary skill is relatively useful imo - more than AFT (apart from the fact it buffs AA)

I am using a semi-sec build on FdG and I am happy with it so will try it on Gascogne/France as well. As I said you pay with less survivability as you can’t have CE+FP in that build.

Well depends what your preference is. The Main Gunn module is too valuable I guess but if you can push Secondaries to 9.5km that is enough for knife fighting. You rather trade in survivability as you are missing fire prevention and/or concealment expert which is probably not optimal but at least it’s fun.

Because HE doesn’t take into account angle, distance, penetration or where you hit. It is only “click here”. If you don’t see a difference it’s hopeless to discuss with you.
