    This. Some ppl here just discuss details totally irrelevant. It is not a single reason the game struggles to retain players. Some of the reasons have been mentioned (MM, RN BBs, inter class balance, lack of interesting game modes / repetitive, etc) But it’s a combination of factors

    A WW1 Mod would be awesome! I would play it a lot. Wouldn’t even need a tier separation - just everything WW1 into one big battle and add some really dark extra smoke to this mode and let the slugfest begin ... and call it Jutland-Mode for example ? Thanks for the like - yes you are indeed already signed up! Hot Northern Sweden - now I am jealous ;-)

    Klar ärgert es, wenn einem so ein Dödel das Match verhagelt. Ändert aber nix daran, dass das Benehmen von einigen unter aller Kanone + Würde ist. Und das ist tatsächlich ein gesellschaftliches Problem (leider) aber im Internet besonders plakativ da sich all die entsprechenden Kandidaten dazu noch verstecken können. Der Vergleich zu WOT hilft in sofern nicht, als dass der Zustand dort ja in keinster Weise erstrebenswert ist. Es sagt nur „es geht immer noch schlimmer“.

    Das wäre in der Tat wünschenswert. Man hat oft genug irgendwelche Pflaumen, die einen 20s Yolo hinlegen und dann den Rest des Spiels im Chat mit Wörtern wie „Retarded Team“ um sich schmeißen. Muss irgendwie auch nicht, oder? Gutes Benehmen ist leider nicht nur im Internet mittlerweile Mangelware/ausverkauft

    Howdy everybody! It’s been a while since my last comment here as I took a longer break from the game. However - Jutland is coming up again these days and WG released two gentlemen as commanders, Reinhard and Franz von Jutland - which triggered me to dust off some Dreadnoughts and plan for another sortie at dawn. At the US forum is another “Groundhog Day”-discussion on who won, which commanders did well and so on which I don’t really want to warm up again here. However I feel it is important to remember the brave men on both sides who fought this climatic battle.

    Interesting topic. My thoughts are that we still can’t dismiss that GS was facing three enemies of basically the same type as herself. While she had some unusual large guns she was just a cruiser and this engagement showed that it is impossible to protect such a small ship entirely even from light cruiser shells. I certainly agree in that that battle could have turned out the other way with GS defeating or even sinking the three British ships. But it wouldn’t have changed the fundamental problem of missing bases abroad as a single unlucky hit would mean the end of a raiser as the Germans didn’t have means to repair the ships so far from home. An interesting line of thoughts is however what a long range Battlecruiser could have achieved in comparison.

    Plattgemacht ist eine ziemliche Übertreibung. Er hat ein paar popelige Küstenbatterien und Beobachtungsposten beschossen und dabei gab es Kollateralschäden. Und Ziel waren noch nicht einmal die Dörfer sondern Teile der Englischen Flotte herauszulocken. Und nur nochmal für dich weil du es offenbar nicht verstehst: es ist ein himmelweiter Unterschied ob jemand von der gegnerischen Propaganda verunglimpft wird oder durch reale Ereignisse. Propaganda ist dafür da, Stimmung zu machen und genau das hat sie hier gemacht. Und zwar nicht wegen kaputter Fischerdörfer, sondern um der eigenen Bevölkerung zu erklären, warum die als unbesiegbar wahrgenomme Englische Flotte sie nicht verteidigt hat. Oder besser gesagt, um davon abzulenken. Nennt sich heute übrigens Politik und kann in den meisten Staaten, allen größeren Unternehmen und allgemein da, wo viele Menschen miteinander arbeiten und leben, beobachtet werden.

    Die ersten drei sind aber nicht gerade durch besonderen Tatendrang aufgefallen. Scheer und Hipper ganz klares Ja. Reuter hmmm find ich jetzt auch nicht so bemerkenswert. Dann lieber Müller als Kapitän der Emden.

    Toblerone = Adm Scheer? Finde den Turm zur Abwechslung ganz nett... Aber so ein Idiotenkram wie Atlantikbug an Blücher, Kaiser, usw. können sich wirklich nur Leute ausdenken, die vom Schiffbau keine Ahnung haben. In einem anderen Fred haben ein Paar Leute mal angefangen, das ganze zu berechnen. Mit Lastverteilung, Verfügbarkeit in den verschiedenen Jahren und ein paar generelle Einflüsse. Wenig überraschend sah das anders aus als der Quark von WG.

    Theoretisch natürlich denkbar als T5 Kreuzer aber dann hast du wieder das Problem der komplett vergurkten WG Power Progression. Sprich du siehst Hiryus und andere Träger. In sofern bin ich bei Take - T3 BB. Passt insofern ganz gut, als dass sie dann mit Zeitgenossen unterwegs ist und die Panzerkreuzer dieser Epoche als Großkampfschiffe galten.

    Was ich ernsthaft nicht verstehe ist wie so etwas wie ein Pixelkapitän hier solche Emotionen auslöst. Ist mir absolut unbegreiflich aber manche hier scheinen das EINDEUTIG zu ernst zu nehmen.
