Also mit dem T9er hat die PEF wenig gemein. Sie hat auch keinen Phantasienen sondern hieß tatsächlich so (benannt nach des Kaisers Sohnemann). Das Schiff wurde nur nicht fertiggestellt im 1. WK und hat im Spiel von WG ein fiktives 2. WK Refit erhalten. Die T9 FdG ist ein mesh aus verwchiedenne H-Klasse Schlachtschiff-Entwürfen. Mit dem T9er FdG kann man die PEF aber im Spiel in sofern sxhib nicht vergleichen, als dass FdG VIEL kürzere Ladezeit, eine recht gute Panzerung, sehr starke Sekundäre und insgesamt ganz okish Eigenschaften hat. Die hat die PEF ganz und gar nicht, zumindest nicht in ihrem jetzigen Stand

Das Problem war damals eher die Tarnung. Sie kam bei ca 10km raus und konnte nach Bedarf verschwinden oder sich anschleichen und Kreuzer blappen. Außerdem hatte sie schnell drehende Türme und war damit einfach extrem agil. Jetzt hat sie normale BB-Tarnung, was gut ist. Aber der langsame Reload killt das Ding komplett. Stand heute mit Abstand das schlechteste T6 Schiff. @Staubisauger - die Zahlen sagen nach 3 Tagen noch nix aus. Glaub es mir oder nicht - sie ist echt ****. Der erste Große Kreuzer und dann ein kompletter [edited]up - frohe Weihnachten

New Mex is much much better. In fact PEF is by a comfortable margin the worst T6 BB or any T6 ship for that matter. She would only even be mediocre at T5 at best.

Erstmal sehr schöner Artikel! Allerdings gibt es ja bereits ausführliche Diskussionen hier, weil das Schiff eben nicht gut sondern „Meh“ ist. Sie bräuchte eine verbesserte Nachladezeit, um die wirklich grottigen Granaten zu kompensieren.

Joa. Was wirklich hilft sind viele Treffer :-) Und die errechnen sich aus Genauigkeit, Anzahl Rohre und Feuerrate. Daran sieht man dan schnell, dass die 12 Rohre der Arizona oder Fuso da trotzdem besser sind. Hätten sie 42sec Reload wärst du erst beim gleichen Volumen. Ja, die PEF ist besser gegen Kreuzer aber vor allem, weil sie ausgesprochen schlecht gegen Schlachtschiffe ist. Ich bin ziemlich sauer

Das ist natürlich nicht falsch aber das trifft genauso auch auf meine Tante und sämtliche Schiffe auf T5+6 zu...

“Godlike” - well I use my König 19pts Captain with AFT+BFT+Manual AA. It’s pretty good. RE: Scharnhorst - why would anyone complain? The individual shells may not be stellar but the overall ship/package is awesome. It’s a combination of fantastic reload, excellent turret handling, great Secondaries with the captain skill (T7), Torps and Brawler’s armor. The whole package screems “hold my beer and get me close!” - it is sound and extremely fun. PEF isn’t really a package of any sorts. More random, partially contradicting elements put together.

Aber mal zur Orientierung „Gute Feuerrate“ ( @Staubisauger): Die ganzen 12-Gun-Schiffe, die ebenfalls overmatchlose 35cm Flinten auf T6 haben (Arizona, Fuso, etc.) müssten 42 (!!!) sec Reload bekommen, um auf ein vergleichbar erbärmliches Feuervolumen zu kommen. Viel Spaß dabei

A) I don’t want a ship “better” than what’s in the game so far. I want to have an overall sound, fun and well balanced package. Which is in this case made up of shells quality, accuracy, reload, etc. I did answer this multiple times. Unfortunately it seems rather difficult for you to look at the entire picture. You keep bragging on individual details which only matter in their overall combined product. B) no the shells are not only lackluster beyond 14km. The HE shell is straight bad and the AP is worse than T5 Konigs starting around 8/9km. The AP is more T5 territory. Which by itself wouldn’t be the end of the world either. Assuming that the overall combination would be sound. She would simply need a better reload to compensate.

Ist halt das Gesamtpaket. Sie hat die mit Abstand schlechtesten Granaten auf T6 (sowohl AP als auch HE). Die sind ganz grob etwa mit Königs T5 Murmeln vergleichbar nur mit etwa schlechterer Ballistik. In diesem Lichte und mit nur 8 Röhren (die anderen T6 35cm Schiffe haben 12) sind die 28sec endlos lang.

Der niedrige Schaden pro Salve wäre kein Problem bei angemessener ROF. Hat sie aber nicht.

Seit den Französischen WG-Refits wissen wir ja nun Gott sei Dank auch, dass es überhaupt kein Problem ist, in einen von Bug bis Heck strakenden Schiffskörper eine neue Mittelsektion zu Verlängerung einzufügen (da fragt man sich wirklich, warum die ganzen Idioten in Wirklichkeit immer nur eine verlängerte Hecksektion drangebaut haben. Amateure...)

Congrats you painted an ellipse... However, vertical dispersion is a mostly result of the trajectory. It changes with range and the shell speed (plus there is a balancing multiplicator which can be adjusted by WG) as does the angle of impact. Fast shells tend to have a flat trajectory which translates into larger vertical dispersion. But that isn’t really an issue as far as game play performance is concerned. Bottom line is: PEF has typical BB dispersion and has only slightly enhanced accuracy - but not even up to Warspite levels. Which means in result that her accuracy isn’t a redeeming factor for her lackluster shells either (contrary to what some ppl were stating here)

Far more is a relative number but yes the individual barrel is more accurate. Considering you have only 8 not 12 she will still land less hits. Significantly.

Dude What’s wrong with you...? I was showing that PEF isn’t any super accurate BB - contrary to what ppl seem to think of her. Apparently ppl think she must be super accurate just because they see 2.0 sigma. There is absolutely nothing special about her accuracy. She is right where the other T6 BBs are. Your numbers indeed show the very same thing. Nothing special really. Plus your statement that horizontal dispersion is only a SMALL (in capitals) part of the dispersion made me laugh hard. It is the single most inportant parameter. Vertical is determined by shell velocity. And back to PEF’s accuracy: her accuracy is somewhat ok for a mid tier BB but nothing special all things combined. If you would have looked at average hit probability per minute (meaning dispersion ellipse, sigma, RoF and number of barrels) on a given target size you would have noticed that there is absolutely zero-nothing special about it. Furthermore I get the feeling you just try to annoy people for the sake of annoying. You are quite an experienced player but your replies are not overly helpful really. What’s wrong?

What for as in “I don’t need godlike AA on a BB”. I need guns that work and some protection to tank for the team and attack

Accurate? PEF has German BB line horizontal dispersion just vertical is better. She is still less accurate than Warspite. Plus it is a stretch to call any T6 BB “accurate”. So no. PEF doesn’t sit in any middle at T6. She sits in the middle between Kongo and Bayern and way at the bottom of T6.
