In your Little picture the x-axis is the line-of-sight from your ship to your target. Your horizontal dispersion would happen on y-axis. However you really think you are “aiming” happens on your z-axis..? Plus: seriously you are overshooting Bismarcks by a 100m...? Oh boy really? (Err nope that’s not what’s happening)

Hm ok. I simply dislike the addition of additional “random” factors in normal PvP as it weakens your own possible impact. I would like to see PvP being a mode of players competing with players. I am not against any AI units in operations and such

And against what plane are you projecting your ellipse? And is the target 2d or maybe even 3D? Are you able to aim slightly higher so your shells don’t land half a km short? Does that matter as the pen is garbage anyway so can take the simple pens instead of hoping for a waterline cit? I am denying the point some ppl here are making that PEF is super accurate. She is not. She isn’t terrible - due to her sigma mostly - but she is still an overall inaccurate ship exactly as all other T6 BBs as well. And she isn’t even the most accurate of the inaccurate T6 BBs either. Some ppl here are using her advertised “accuracy” as an excuse for all her other drawbacks. And that simply doesn’t fly.

That is a terrible suggestion or a dangerous troll attempt (in case WG reads this). I fail to see how random AI planes would make the game any better (think of the glorious AI forts). It is already hard work to deal with weekend players on your team. Now add AI to the mess? Better not Btw. We want to play CVs - so rather work hard to improve this rework thingy. It doesn’t look like it is anywhere near completion yet (which won’t stop it from being released though)

Dude this nonsense again? Again: horizontal is what matters. Vertical is just the difference between hitting the hull or straddle the superstructure. Biggest risk of vertical dispersion btw. is shots falling slightly short. Something we get around since the release of the German BBs with their flat arcs (large vertical dispersion) by aiming slightly higher. Sigma is slightly better yes. But with terrible base dispersion the ship isn’t particular accurate despite that. Pretty much like the old 2.0 sigma König prenerf with 2sec longer reload and two less barrels.

Hab heute mal in sprint die Arizona genommen um zu schauen, ob einfach nur mein eigener Balancing-Kompass im [edited] ist. Hab den gegnerischen DD runtergebibbelt und dann im Nahkampf eine Fuso und eine PEF vaporisiert. Da liegen Welten dazwischen. (Aber nee, PEF is balanced they said. 2017 is the year of the carrier they said. GZ is fine just git gud they said. There will NEVER be subs in WOWS they said)

Also Streuung ist zwar typisch BB aber nicht wirklich ihr Problem. Das Problem ist eigentlich eher die schwache Pen in Kombination mit der relativ langsamen Ladezeit. In sofern würde mich enorm interessieren, wie sich die AP auf verschiedene Entfenungen auf verschiedene Ziele in verschiedenen Winkeln verhält (also nicht nur flat Broadside). Aber schon mal danke für‘s testen !

Find them not overly scary. Their AP easily bounces due to non-premium angles. US heavy shells are more scary. But of course you guys are having a point. No value in risking your T6 HP bag against a T8 cruiser you can’t overmatch and which can still torp you.

Hippers are not particularly scary though. Torps are only 6km and their guns won’t hurt that much during the brawl.

And to be fair things might still change with regards to balance. US HE bombers felt for example far more useful to be in the beta but let’s see. I guess a guide on general controls (wasd and mouse rudder + change speed / use afterburner), AA mechanics, types of squadrons, aiming and what to do (or not) with your CV ship and how to call in fighters is pretty useful!

I can agree here she isn’t really off by that much - but that little REALLY hurts. And it is really the reload that makes her annoying. Ouch that is a death sentence... in the Russian Forum it seems to be jokingly called the „T6-Mikasa“ - I don‘t think these guys would still be joking in case the Soviet BBs turn out like this useless PEF turd

Wenn der Patch da ist kannst du die im Depot gegen Dubloons verkaufen. Soll einen neuen Reiter „CVs“ dort geben steht in der Patchbeschreibung GZ und Kaga kann ich mir ja gerade noch vorstellen im Rework. Aber Saipan mit ihren Überschall-Props...?

That sums it pretty much up. WG uses common sense (did I really just say that..?) The WW1 Battlecruisers are Capital ships by all means and can’t really end up anywhere else than in the BB class. „Variation of a BB“ sums it up nicely in terms of gameplay These overgunned cruisers, such as Alaska, Deutschland and such are cruisers in almost all aspects just with oversized artillery. They are better off as cruisers in the game - not ideal but better

Well you chose the most (=least) tanky of all (glass-) ships to try that out Congrats :-) (Btw. If you really somehow managed to take 38k in a single salvo you would have deserved to be insta deleted. Which probably would have happened in case you would’ve faced a real enemy ship instead of this pea shooter. You can call yourself a lucky gopher)
