I think it is fair to state that most of us are still learning with the new CVs. I am currently playing through Ryujo and having some matches with Kaga and GZ. And while numbers may not be really telling I am agreeing with some opinions here that CVs are lacking a bit at T6+8 (T4 was little boring). The constant AA DPS is very punishing and the MM is usually harsh. Feels a lot of time that spotting is the only task for the first part and that damage can mostly be done against loners or at the end of the match - either way doesn’t feel overly rewarding

Exactly - saying realism is against having CVs in the game is nonsense. CVs were the most important warships of that era. They have to be in the game. @Ferry_25 ? Tetris?

Hard to believe. After 0.8.0 it took only a few days to nerf the CVs into the ground because the whiners were loud enough. Doing reasonable Flak-nerfs now will take ages I’m afraid if ever. I think WG is really spoiling all the hard work they put into the rework with poor balance and stupidly overbuffed Flak.

Of course theoretically possible but very unlikely as WG doesn’t like to do this at all. They said this many times because it would increase queue times. Plus balancing two different CV systems if balancig one is already difficult ap apparently....? That’s what I tried to bring across.

You are entirely missing the point. There is no “vast majority” preferring the old model. If that would be the case there would have been CVs played before the rework which is clearly not the case. There are only very few but very loud ppl - mainly yourself with a million different threads. And second: the old RTS wasn’t a failure because it was difficult but because it was not attractive and not balanced. I know you don’t want to hear that but anyway. There is no point at all to go back or even mix these - that would mean splitting up MM queues which you should know WG hates and USN unlikely to do

Ok mir soll es egal sein. Da sich eine Gruppe für eine Neuwahl mit dem Thema „Flüsse“ ausgesprochen hat und ich keine Gegenstimmen gesehen haben brechen wir den Walküre-Poll ab und ich mache dieses WE einen neuen. Gibt es Vorschläge zu den „Fluss-Namen“ für die CVLs?

Ich finde die Steuerung gut - könnte mir die sogar für Torpedoboot-Gruppen vorstellen
