    I have an opinion about this armor angling but yes it is part of the game. Your “core” mechanics apply to all four classes to varying degrees though. Don’t get me wrong - there are differences with CVs, mainly that you control two units rather than your usual one and the way you can move across the map. But this doesn’t mean it won’t work in the same theatre at all. See WG already applies tons of GAMEY mechanics to make unequal classes equal enough to fight each other. And they do the same with CVs. Statements like “can’t be balanced” are therefore completely wrong. You can balance anything you want with enough gameplay concessions.

    For once we agree. The problem isn’t “no counterplay” though but “manual attack vs RNG defense”. However that isn’t an issue of the rework but an issue with WG refusing to give players control over their AA guns. That would be a player vs player situation - however WG doesn’t want to unfortunately.

    Der Anteil jeder Macht sowie die Art der Bestimmung der Tonnage ist bereits beschlossen. Es geht „nur“ noch um den Faktor An alle: wir begrüßen den Kompromissvorschlag Frankreichs. Wir möchten aber darauf hinweisen, dass Änderungen an gefassten Beschlüssen - wie dem Verhältnis zwischen den Mächten - nur einstimmig erfolgen kann. Bisher scheint es bereits eine breite Unterstützung bzw. Akzeptanz des Faktors 4 zu geben, eine Untergrenze von 2,75 und eine Ablehnung eines Faktors höher als 5. Wir begrüßen den allgemeinen Wunsch, den Faktor nicht zu hoch anzusetzen geben aber zu bedenken, dass auch eine Begrenzung der zukünftigen Rüstung bereits ein Erfolg wäre. Eine Resuzierung und Abrüstung sollte aber natürlich aber das höchste Ziel bleiben. Ich würde die verehrten Delegationen gern die Diskussion fortführen lassen und sehen, ob auch ohne Abstimmung eine Einigung erzielt werden kann.

    If you really think that spotting by CVs is an issue (which I don’t think it is) WG COULD Limit it in different ways which btw have been discussed multiple times - spot only for minimap - spot transmit to team button (like radar) - reduce distance where you “see” spotted enemies yourself - remove spotting for fighters - etc pp However WG doesn’t seem to believe it’s a huge issue. Preventing a flanking move? Really...? Well I think you have some romantic dreams about the state of random games. “Parking Lot” is a nice understatement for this mainly boring and untactical clusterfork and that is not only since the rework. But yea keep blaming the CVs for that Btw the Reddit number crunch showed apparently that the new CVs spot significantly less than the RTS ones.

    The game makes tons of concessions for these four classes all being equally viable. Don’t play that card or are you one of those suggesting that BBs should stomp all other ships because in such frame they would sh** on a destroyer or cruiser? The same applies to CVs vs other classes. All classes are implemented in a non strictly historical way so they can compete on more or less equal terms. The HE mechanics for cruisers is an example - the BB dispersion another. The fact that some aerial torpedos Deal less damage that a normal AP shot are also part of that

    You clearly don’t understand the meaning of historical. And you don’t understand the term “relevant” either or you wouldn’t bring up mine layers. But sure dude - how about that: make your own game only with completely irrelevant and boring ships. No variety in gameplay - they will play all the same. Have fun with that it’ll be the most boring game ever Serious question: why do you even bother with WW2 Naval stuff if you hate planes?

    One guy posted a number crunch exercise from Reddit which stated that the new CVs Deal significantlt. less damage and spot significantly less than the old ones. Sure there are exceptions who carry games but you have that in all classes. Most ppl are only looking at T10 - T4-8 CVs are not OP in my opinion. Maybe Big E is an exception - don’t own her but the others? Do you really think they are?

    A class grossly unpopular is a problem. Slava - as much as I heard about her - combines cruiser accuracy with Battleship AP which isn’t gonna end well. Haven’t played her myself or against her though. Are you trying to say the current CVs are too powerful?

    I duly respect your well known skills but saying the old iteration of CVs was balanced and fun for everyone can’t be your serious opinion. I get that you are mad that WG took the part of game away you liked but you can’t deny that there were problems big enough justifying the rework in general. “It’s worse” - why worse? It may not be perfect but it is certainly already much more popular. Or are you denying that as well? Independent of this it is painful to see you arguing against CVs in general - your class somehow. You know as much as I do that the hate isn’t really new. Its just a convenient time to let it all out and it is also due the fact that CVs are now present in reasonable numbers - unlike in the old iteration

    Dude are you pulling my leg? Of course you can make a game about Naval warfare and only implement Patrol boats. But it will suck and nobody will play it and you need bots to fill up your rounds. Ah wait that happened to some Einsteins thinking you don’t need Warships in a Warships game. A warships game without Iowas, Shokakus and Enterprises just suck and nobody will buy it. Simple as that. Btw I much rather think you need your very special little Pink Pony Mode only with selected ships. Why do I need to explain to you why Carriers should be part of a WW2 Naval game?!

    An Argument for what? The hater boys didn’t bring anything substantial other than “minimi a CV touched me minimi”. What should I tell you? That CVs are warships? That CVs belong into the game? or shall I talk you that If you think DDs have no purpose left (which is wrong in my opinion but that’s what some here keep telling) you can remove them as well? Is the balance perfect? Certainly not. Is this the only case of incomplete or bad balance? Hell no. Does it need to be fixed? Yes - among a million other problems. Is it worth such a whine show? ... (nope)

    Dude Aircraft Carriers are the most powerful warships of the portrayed period and - believe it or not - they indeed come with airplanes (!) What’s difficult about this simple truth is beyond me. Or do you also struggle to understand that destroyer come with torpedos? We should clearly remove destroyers for the reason that torpedos are not Warships. Seriously dude - wake up Au contraire. If that would be the case we wouldn’t have this argument. The community is torn over this question. There are the ones living in the past and whining about their RTS mini game and there are the ones appreciating the fresh breeze. And then there are all the CV haters who finally stick out their heads out of their fox whole and jump conveniently on the hate train that is running now. Pathetic at best
